PIN change
PIN change. Issue changing the PIN online. Called customer service. Long story short....you verbally give the new PIN number you want to the representative over the phone instead of using the keypad and type it in!!!! I told the representative...I will type in in the keypad and was told...you have to verbally give me the 4 digit PIN number. Had no choice but to do so and then immediately changed it online. I called back, spoke to another customer service rep and same procedure; verbally give the representative the PIN number and then you can use your Merrick card and PIN if needed. I don't like that at all..we all know, including the Merrick Bank reps....you don't give your PIN over the phone. Luckly I had access to my Merrick card...PIN restored and was able to reset it online. That needs to END now Merrick bank. You don't provide your new PIN number verbally over the phone. Use the keypad.
