Beware of sham agency guaranteeing transfers for flight delays
My son was flying from Zakynthos to Athens, Athens to Malaga with Gotogate. The plane was delayed in Zakynthos on the first flight to Athens and as a consequence he missed his flight to Malaga. He was left stranded in Athens Airport overnight despite both I and him spending hours trying to communicate with Gotogate customer service. This service is an absolute sham, Skyscanner should not support this agency. My son did not receive any communication whatsoever from Gotogate and the transfer guarantee they promise never happened. I had to fly my son, at my cost, on the next flight out of Athens. I raised this matter with Gotogate but like all dealings with this sham agency, they ignored me. it is important this is brought to public attention
