Long-Time Customer, Leaving Permanently, Deeply Disappointed
I have been a Wix customer for many years, but this experience has been the final straw. I will be leaving Wix permanently. The website builder has always felt glitchy and unreliable. Elements move around unexpectedly, things don’t always behave as they should, and after all these years I can’t say the platform has become significantly more stable. What has become even more frustrating is the customer service. The staff themselves have generally been polite, but they appear to have very little flexibility because they are forced to follow rigid company policies. I contacted Wix immediately after discovering an honest mistake and explained the situation in detail, yet they refused to help despite having every opportunity to do so. After being a loyal customer for many years, this has completely destroyed my confidence in the company. When something goes wrong, you need to know the company behind the product will treat you fairly. In my experience, Wix prioritises policy over common sense and customer loyalty. If you’re considering building a business on this platform, I’d think carefully before committing. Reliability isn’t just about the software. It’s also about whether you can trust the company to support you when you genuinely need help. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I no longer can.
