I’d like to give them a zero; Merrick Bank isn't good. They make you feel bad by indirectly implying you're a thief, even when your account is in good standing and your payments are up to date. I would never recommend Merrick Bank. My experience has been extremely frustrating. They flag or block my card for the smallest purchases—even something as simple as buying a cup of coffee. Instead of making customers feel protected, they make you feel like you’re being treated as if you’ve done something wrong every time you use your own card. Customer service has not provided a real solution, and the same issues keep happening. If you’re considering getting a Merrick Bank credit card, think twice. There are many other credit card companies that treat their customers with more respect and provide a much better experience.
