Six weeks, two wrong replacement parts, still unresolved
I purchased a Waterdrop G3P800 from Lowe’s on June 9, 2026 and had it installed by a licensed plumber, which required drilling my countertop to mount the smart faucet that comes with the system. The faucet display has never worked. I opened a warranty claim on July 14 (ticket 778079). Over the following two weeks I was asked repeatedly for the same photos, videos and troubleshooting steps by multiple representatives, including information I had already supplied. Waterdrop then shipped a replacement faucet. It was the wrong part the tubing was not compatible with my system. My plumber could not complete the work and I paid a service call for nothing. I sent photos showing the incompatibility. Waterdrop shipped a second replacement. It was the identical wrong faucet. I was then offered a single filter, then a set of filters, then a swap to a G3P600 a lower model than the one I bought. Waterdrop’s final position was that I should return the unit to the retailer myself and submit plumbing invoices for them to review against what they consider reasonable. Six weeks in, I have a drilled countertop, a system that does not work, and money spent on plumbers for a defect that was never mine.
