I have genuinely never worked with a more incompetent company in my entire existence. I started an LLC as I was in between jobs and they sold me on the $10K in write-offs and solid potential tax returns if I use their system. It was $3K I have never spent that much on tax preparation ever, but I was uncertain of how much more complicated it would be versus my usual personal taxes and so I thought ok I could use the support. HUGE MISTAKE! Months of tax preparers being 45 minutes to an hour late or even just not showing up to their schedule meetings to talk with me. Trying to inconveniently reschedule me to unavailable times, multiple times after I said I cannot do that. Provided all my tax documents but received little to no insights on how the write-offs or other inputs would support my tax refund return size. They have a dumb platform that you must use for all communication. It is useless and allows them to read your messages but then not have to actually respond to your many concerns about timeframes, additional details to account for, return status. As I write this they have submitted my taxes but I have not received my return yet because they didn’t follow through on my direct deposit details and now I get to go do that myself. Just jaw-droppingly terrible customer service and generally egregious communication skills. Please avoid using them at all costs and research a local accountant who can do it for far less pay and way less frustration.
