I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from OneMain Financial. In my experience, the loan application and withdrawal process was handled poorly and lacked the level of professionalism I expected from a regulated financial institution. I found the process confusing and was not provided with clear guidance or timely documentation when I requested to withdraw my application. This created unnecessary stress and complications that I believe could have been avoided with better procedures and communication. I was particularly dissatisfied with the service I received from Ali at the Alexandria office. I felt that my concerns were not handled appropriately and that insufficient effort was made to resolve a significant issue that arose during the application process. Rather than helping to rectify the situation, I was left to deal with the consequences of what I consider to be an inadequate and unprofessional process. Based on my experience, I would not recommend applying for a loan with OneMain Financial. I intend to submit a formal complaint to the appropriate financial regulatory or oversight body for review of the way my application and withdrawal request were handled.
