Customer service flat out LIED
Customer service flat out LIED! I bought a new phone and everything worked except the OTP text messages. After contacting the maker of the phone they said it was a mintmobile issue. I contacted MM and spent over an hour on chat. The first agent abandoned me, the second got halfway through and said everything was fine, which it wasn't. I then called and was told it was an issue with my local cell tower. I put the sim card in my old phone and got all the text messages then put it back in my new phone and still didn't get them so they LIED! I requested a supervisor numerous times and they refused. I went back to Consumer Cellular and the agent told me they "hear this a lot." Update - after reviewing their reply it's even more clear how awful their service is since I shared that I had already spent hours on chat/phone with them already before writing the review!
