Terrible customer service – they ignored my refund request and did whatever they wanted
I ordered an Anakin Skywalker costume with boots, paying extra to ensure the complete outfit would arrive in time for Halloween. After reading a review from another customer who had received their costume without the boots, I specifically contacted the company beforehand to remind them to include them. Despite this explicit warning, my costume arrived without the boots anyway. To make matters worse, after placing my order, I was asked to pay an additional “customer pays the difference” fee, and I was told that otherwise my order would not be shipped. I paid this additional charge because I wanted to receive the costume I had ordered. Considering the problems that followed, this made the entire experience even more frustrating. I contacted customer service to explain the situation and clearly stated that I NO LONGER WANTED THE BOOTS and wanted a refund instead. I explained that they would arrive too late for Halloween and that sending them now would not solve the problem. My request could not have been clearer. The company simply ignored what I actually asked for and did whatever it wanted. At 08:22, I received a generic email telling me that the boots had been shipped. This was not a response to my refund request. They did not acknowledge my request, explain their position, or offer a solution. They simply went ahead with the shipment despite my explicitly stating that I no longer wanted the boots. The tracking history makes this even more frustrating. The shipment information was created on October 7, but the first visible processing scan at a sorting facility in China did not appear until 19:29 on October 23 — the very day I requested my refund. This raises serious questions about why there was no visible processing activity for over two weeks, only for the parcel to start moving on the day I asked for my money back. I had specifically warned the company about the exact issue that eventually occurred. My order arrived incomplete, I paid an additional fee after purchase because I was told my order otherwise would not be shipped, and when I tried to resolve the situation, my clearly stated wishes were disregarded. The biggest problem here is not just the missing boots. It is the complete disregard for the customer. I paid for my order, followed the company's additional payment request, received an incomplete costume, and then had my explicit refund request ignored. Customer service should resolve problems, not ignore what customers say and make decisions on their behalf. The entire experience has left me feeling genuinely misled and taken advantage of as a customer. I placed my trust in this company, paid everything they asked for, and even took the precaution of warning them about this exact issue, only to have my order arrive incomplete and my explicit refund request completely ignored. I ordered this costume specifically for Halloween, and this experience has turned what should have been an exciting purchase into an incredibly frustrating ordeal. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I strongly advise anyone considering ordering from them to think twice, especially if the costume is needed for a specific event. I am still waiting for the company to actually address my refund request instead of ignoring it and doing whatever suits them.
We ordered three costumes from Coshd on 24 September for a themed event abroad, and paid an extra £20 for express delivery, advertised as 5–8 business days. Nearly a month later, one costume still hasn’t arrived and another came without its boots. Customer service has since confirmed in writing that the missing parcel won’t arrive before we leave.
The Padmé costume that did arrive was not the quality or standard shown on the website.
When we complained, we were told we’d have to pay to post everything back to Shanghai by airmail, within two weeks, before any refund would be considered. Their alternative was to keep the items and accept a 10% refund. They also refused to refund the express delivery charge, even though the items arrived late or not at all.
Be aware that although the website is .co.uk and prices are in pounds, the company appears to be based in China, and returns go to a Shanghai address. Under UK consumer law, sellers must cover return costs for faulty or not-as-described goods, but Coshd’s policy puts that cost on the customer.
If you need items by a specific date, or want the reassurance of easy returns, I’d recommend buying elsewhere.
I have since been contacted by cosh asking for a booking reference!

I bought this cosplay, really looking forward to its arrival, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. I’m absolutely in love with it! The fabric features the character’s canonical colors, the stitching is well-done, and it comes with all the belts and accessories, such as the necklace. The faux leather is of good quality, and the sizing is spot on!
I also ordered the version that includes a wig; I was really impressed by the quality of the wig cap, and the amount of hair is just perfect.
I’m in love with it! I highly recommend this site—they’ve proven that the quality of their cosplays is impeccable.
Very, very poor customer service.
No intention of righting wrongs. No fair return or refund policy.
I would avoid this company.

Order arrived on time however sizing was not accurate. Emailed but took so long to reply that had to start to modify as time was running out until the day I needed to wear. Looked shocking so went in the bin.

They made the costume too small and then told me I have to either pay to return it or buy a new one. They don’t follow their own policy or even the 14 day return policy that every company follows.
Now having to go through my bank to get my money back as the costume they sent is useless to me.
Would avoid and go elsewhere to save time and hassle. And you might even get something that fits from somewhere else.

According to the measurements you provided, the shirt has a chest circumference of 92 cm and the pants have a waist circumference of 74 cm. In our size chart, size S corresponds to a chest circumference of 82–94 cm and a waist circumference of 76–79 cm. Please note that due to differences in measurement methods and angles, there may be a margin of error of 1–3 cm in the results. Therefore, our clothing sizes are indeed correct, and we recommend that you carefully check the size chart before making a purchase.
Additionally, regarding returns, our return policy states that if a return is due to the buyer purchasing the incorrect size, the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs. You may ship the items you wish to return within two weeks and send us the tracking number. Therefore, there is no instance of “failing to honor the 14-day return policy” as mentioned in your review. Orderd the resident evil 2 leon kennedy costume with the boots and I have to say this must be a joke right? The boots didnt even come with the outfit and the materials used are just horrendous the belt barely works with the outfit because of the friction the shirt barely fits and the tactical vest doesn't even look proper when you have it on it just puffs out abit and did I mention the material??? It is a sweat magnet the "waterproof" feel is horrendous and makes it very uncomfortable and hot definitely not up to expectations especially after paying £130+! I am appalled and the refund policy is shocking!

Very reasonably priced! Although shipping did take a long time as items came from China, (I was aware of the time scales and ordered well in advance for when I needed the items) they were happy to provide shipping information and updates over email and responded very fast.

This is the second time I have bought a star trek uniform from this site and I have not been disappointed at all.
I like the quality of the materials of the uniform and it is inexpensive.
To tell the truth I am planning to change it into a babylon 5 uniform.

It’s not arriving in time for event and all I’m offered is 10%, this is ridiculous.
There was no update anywhere to say it was taking so long and I had to contact them via e mail. I guess I’m even lucky to get a reply.
