The shoes are different shapes. The size of the shoes in multiple areas are different by 1/2-1cm+.
They did, however, refund me, but the quality is a big concern.

Unwilling to provide return address, which turned out to be in Germany. So was expensive to send back. Eventually received refund.

Bought 2 pairs hoping to try and return. They cost over £80. When arrived the fit was not good. Emailed for return and was told would have to pay for return, had to send photographs or options was a 10% refund price and keep shoes.They kept encouraging me to resell the shoes. Said I did not need them. Still insisting I keep them.
Then said would issue with a 30 % refund. It was like an automated email. Not helpful with returns. Like they were determined not to arrange return so now stuck with two pairs of shoes that I can’t wear and £60 loss.

Hobibear.co.uk is a China based company. They have no returns in the UK and they dont respect their return policy! Nearest warehouse in Germany so they want customers to pay customs duties for them!! It has been a month, i paid 15 GBP to send back and now they are not collecting it so no refund! Case already escalated via paypal as otherwise wouldn't even got a return address! Shoes are not of great quality,and quite pricey, you can wear them I guess, more like slippers, fabric has a plastic vibe/feel and the price is high with sizing not consistent! so you may get whatever and if they dont fit, instead of return and refund within 30 days they will be obstructing offering you 10 % discount on future purchase??!!! .. etc. Myself I will be staying away!you can buy theirs shoes from other websites which are genuine uk websites not like them! at half their price! They are based in China pretending UK!

I like the shoes except that they are a bit small. I ordered a size larger than usual and they are still just a little short at the toe.

The slippers/flipflops. The glue that holds the sole and top footing is not water proof, split apart. I glued with water proof sealant. Worn the soles out. Comfort wear. So I ordered another two pairs knowing that I had to repair later.

Don’t buy from this brand! They make it almost impossible to return your order (telling you to keep the shoes instead for a minor discount, and then only giving you the option to send the shoes to a warehouse in Germany and requiring you to pay all VAT and shipping costs). Not worth it and shoes are very large and unattractive. Buy from Vivobarefoot instead.

Do NOT buy from this company. They are liars and scammers. They sent 2 pair of shoes both made incorrectly. One has a huge toe bed compared to the other shoe. The other pair is all yellowed and the tongue is shorter on one shoe and digs into your foot. The front of one is bent upwards and resembles a clown shoe. Very poorly made. Customer service is a joke and they try to deceive the customer with small percent discounts instead of refunding your purchase price. Even though it is a quality issue on their part, they want the customer to pay return shipping. Another dishonest Chinese company preying on Americans. You will be disappointed with the quality. The colors there such as white is actually yellowed like it has been sitting for years. I should have listened to the other negative reviews.
I ordered a pair of shoes which were not suitable when they arrived - they didn't feel good quality and weren't comfortable. When I tried to return them, Hobibear made it basically impossible to do this - initially offering a discount to keep them and resell them myself, and when I still said I wanted to return them, telling me that I needed to return them to Germany at my own cost which might be extremely high, and telling me that many couriers from the UK don't manage to get the package to their warehouse as there are import taxes due, and if this is the case I wouldn't get a refund at all. This company have a .co.uk address which is quite misleading as it implies that you'll be able to return somewhere to the UK. I am now in a position of not wanting to spend £20 to return the shoes with no guarantee that the refund will actually be made. I would avoid this company at all costs.
Order two pair of shoes, a week passes with no shipping confirmation. Write to customer service and the shoes are out of stock. Why are they still available on the website then and why dont you inform about anything? Customer service takes two days to answer anything and the answers are auto translated from chinese.
I am very satisfied with my Hobibear purchase. I got the Tannin style this time and they are true to size, very comfortable and look great!
I will be purchasing in another color!
