Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify what occurred during the repair process.
When we initially received your projector, the primary issue reported was that the unit was overheating and shutting down. During our evaluation, we found that the projector's internal cooling system was heavily contaminated with dust and debris, preventing proper airflow. Before service, the projector would shut down within minutes due to overheating. After a complete internal cleaning, the projector was able to operate normally without overheating, which resolved the primary failure that prompted the repair.
Regarding the image quality concern, the symptoms described after the projector was returned were not present during our testing. The projector underwent extensive operational testing in our facility, including approximately eight hours of runtime, without exhibiting the color-related issue later reported. Because intermittent image defects can sometimes take time to develop or may be caused by separate internal components, we were unable to identify or duplicate that specific symptom during the original repair process.
When you contacted us about the remaining issue, we did not refuse assistance. We offered to bring the projector back at no charge for shipping or additional labor so we could further diagnose and correct the problem. The only potential cost would have been any replacement parts required if a separate hardware failure was identified.
We understand your frustration that the projector was not fully restored to your expectations after the initial repair, and we regret that you felt communication could have been better throughout the process. Our goal is always to resolve issues completely and stand behind our work, which is why we remain willing to continue working on the projector without additional labor or shipping charges.
We appreciate your feedback and are here anytime you would like to reach out and discuss!
