The dresses from here are absolutely stunning. I ordered a dress in a deep red/burgundy shade for prom. I wish I could share the photos because it looked amazing. Great quality and 100% worth it. Really classy looking dress

Stay clear

I would strongly advise people to stay clear of JJ’s House based on my experience. I initially ordered dresses, but unfortunately had to return two of them—one due to a faulty zip and the other because I needed a different size. At first, everything seemed to be handled smoothly. However, when the replacement dresses arrived, one of them had a large stain across the skirt, making it completely unsuitable to wear. I contacted customer service again and was informed that I would receive a refund, which I was happy with. Unfortunately, I later received an email advising that I would only be receiving a partial refund, despite the dress arriving damaged through no fault of my own. I repeatedly contacted customer service to explain the situation and stressed that my wedding was fast approaching, but my emails were ignored. As a result, I was left out of pocket and had no choice but to purchase another dress at my own expense to ensure my bridesmaid had something to wear for my wedding. The quality control, customer service, and after-sales support have been extremely disappointing. This experience has caused unnecessary stress during what should have been an exciting time, and I would not recommend purchasing from JJ’s House.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. You can't return your order. Information provided is incorrect and phone number provided is disconnected. Dresses are badly sown. I ordered two of the same sizes...completely different fit. It's low quality rubbish and scam.

Easy, the custom made dresses fit perfectly and everything was made very well, the of the rack flower girl dress were also a good fit. They were fast at delivery got them within 3 weeks

Custom sizing was perfect. The dress was shipping even before quoted completion date. The quality and material top notch and shipping fast. Dress was protected in a bag and also in a box. I would order again when the need arises.

Website was easy to navigate. Ordering process was a simple and dresses arrived quickly. Clear instructions on how to return try-at-home selections. Dresses are high quality, professionally made, with tight/clean seams and heams and extrodinary bead work. Beautiful dresses that look like they would cost a fortune but are affordable.

BUYER BEWARE

I ordered four dresses from JJs House on 21st May—two for myself and two for my teenage daughter. As they were matching dresses, I always intended to return two of them after deciding which fit best. The stated delivery time was approximately 2.5 weeks. Unfortunately, I had to undergo emergency breast surgery on 19th June. As a result, through no fault of my own, I was unable to return the dresses within the company’s 15-day return window. Despite explaining my circumstances, JJs House has shown no compassion or understanding and is refusing to accept the return of the two dresses, valued at £156. I also feel that the 15-day return policy is not highlighted clearly enough on the website. When planning a wedding, two weeks is a very short period to receive items, try them on, make decisions, and arrange returns if needed. I am willing to keep two of the dresses, although I was disappointed that the quality was not as good as expected, and there is a noticeable difference in colour between the two dresses despite them being sold as matching. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this company. They are extremely difficult to contact directly and have shown very little regard for customer service or customer care. This is especially disappointing for a business that caters to such an important occasion in people’s lives. I will continue to pursue a refund, as I believe the way my situation has been handled is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Mother of Bride Dress

Just had my mother of bride dress delivered with dreadful stitching and a wonky hem - my daughter’s wedding is in 3 weeks. Now I have received it I cannot get through to anyone to voice my complaint and get some form of compensation. The dress had been shoved in a plastic bag, the bag folded over in half and put in a small box. I’ve now got to a) sort the stitching out on the hem and b) get it steamed to get the creases out. I am furious. Had I realised beforehand the item was coming from Asia I would not have bothered visiting the JJ store in London in the first place to actually try on! What a waste of my £50 train fare!!

Custom sizing gone wrong…..

I ordered a custom-sized dress from JJ’s House for my daughter’s wedding. Unfortunately, the dress did not fit according to the measurements I provided. The hips and waist were much too large, and the slit was significantly lower than expected. Because of these issues, I had to pay an additional $215 in alterations to make the dress wearable. I was disappointed because the purpose of paying for custom sizing was to avoid extensive alterations. While I understand that minor adjustments are common, the amount of work required on this dress was far beyond what I expected. When I first contacted customer service, I was told that because the dress was custom made, it was not eligible for a refund under their policy. At that point, no compensation was offered. It wasn’t until I provided detailed photos, measurements, and proof of the fit issues that they reconsidered my claim. They then offered a 30% refund, and after further discussion increased it by an additional 15%. I appreciate that they ultimately worked with me to reach a partial resolution. However, I wish they had been more willing to investigate the issue from the beginning rather than relying solely on the custom-order policy. If I hadn’t documented the problems so thoroughly, I don’t believe my concerns would have been addressed.

Great service

I popped into JJ House in London, walking distance from Oxford Circus rather than order on line. The staff were friendly and helpful and even though the dress I liked was beyond my budget, I bought it. The honest opinion and helpfulness of IRIS in particular made me feel that she wanted me to be happy with the dress I was buying. She gave me advice on colour, style and size. I would definitely recommend JJ house to my family and friends.
