All Kurkirin e-scooters are illegal in Ireland

This e-scooter in illegal to use in public roads, footpaths & cycle tracks for all ages in Ireland. if the Guards see you on it they have a right to take it off you, destroy it & you will be prosecuted for driving a vehicle with no insurance (it cannot be insured). the vehicle exceeds the Max speed, max weight & max power output permitted in Ireland. They also cannot have a seat (it only need to fail 1 - see Gov.ie Microbobility table). Note e-scooters legal or not cannot be used by anyone under 16. Kurkirin e-scooters are well aware of this as you can see from their reply. However, if you email them what is the best escooter to use on your public roads commute they will recommend an e-scooter that is illegal for that journey. This company has a CE mark for the electrical system only. It does not have CE / BS/ ISO certification for the structure or to be classed as machinery (this in not a 45-86kph toy).

Good quality and separate shipment

Everything is good and well organised, I received exactly what I ordered and the quality so far is awesome. Just if you order gloves, they are shipped from china and take way longer to arrive than the actual scooter. One negative tho is that you can’t choose the size of the gloves and they arrive in random size as a result they barely hug my fingers and make me lose control easily when ridding…

everything is good with the top speed…

everything is good with the top speed and the start was as I expected. sturdy construction easy and comfortable to handle on the road. I'm not sure about the quality of the tires, maybe they should have been a little better. also after a wash the right brake and the steering wheel hardened. this probably shouldn't have happened. otherwise it's a very good scooter. on the uphills it goes very comfortably and its battery gets about 40 kilometers

Good Potential – but could use some Improvements

The purchase and shipping went smoothly, The scooter has a sleek design and good potential, but there’s room for improvement in build quality. The open layout makes the shock absorbers and brakes vulnerable to dirt and moisture, and adding fenders would make a big difference for us in rainy climates.

Kukirin G2 Master scooter

I bought a Kukirin G2 Master scooter, and it turned out to be one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made. The product quality is extremely disappointing, it broke down shortly after I started using it, and the so-called warranty or service support was practically useless. Communication with the company was slow, unhelpful, and in the end I had to rely on my bank to get a chargeback. It took months of wasted time and energy, and I never received any real support from Kukirin. Based on my experience, this brand cannot be trusted either for product quality or for after-sales service. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Kukirin scooters.

Ordered controller for my G4

Ordered controller for my G4. I picked up the package and when I opened it bracked was damaged and there was strange noise coming from it when shaken. Sended video to customer support and got response from support in which they told me that they are not going to accept my apply for refund. On their website clearly stands policie of returns and refunds on which they are not agreeing upon.

Defective Scooter – Order #7930

I bought a G2 scooter in April. The scooter’s handlebar was misaligned and turned to the left. They sent me a part that connects the handlebar to the base, the crossbar, which was supposed to resolve the issue. However, after professional installation by a mechanic (costing me an additional €20), the problem persisted. The mechanic confirmed that the issue lies in the incorrectly drilled holes on the crossbar, making it impossible to properly align the handlebar. After countless emails, photos, and videos sent via WhatsApp, communication stopped. Their support no longer replies to me, they ignore my requests to send a properly drilled part or accept the return of the scooter. I don’t allow my daughter to ride a faulty scooter, so it has mostly been sitting unused for 5 months. Order #7930
