Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Parents frequently mention that the teachers are exceptionally patient, engaging, and capable of capturing children's attention through fun stories and games during lessons. Families truly appreciate the interactive online platform and customized curriculum, noting significant improvements in children's spoken confidence and overall language learning progress.
Some reviewers were not happy with the communication, mentioning persistent difficulties with customer support responsiveness and frustrating scheduling issues after purchasing packages. A few people also felt that aggressive sales practices, unhelpful administrative responses, and annoying follow-up calls created an unnecessary hassle during their journey.
Teacher is patient and very engaging, the app is a great tool to learn mandarin. Best if the teacher would translate it in english repeatedly, so that it is easier to learn and comprehend. As we did not grow up learning mandarin. Overall the after sales services that this team rendered has been great and they are very helpful too.
My son has just completed a trial and rated it as very interesting. This is a feat given this is organised virtually. For anything to be effective, being able to engage the student is always rhe key to success.
Terrible again! They keep on asking and accusing people. When a child dosent answer they shout and start overreacting. What a scam overpriced. All these ads are just wasting peoples time get off youtube! You give children trauma not education.
Lingoace, more like Lingowaste! Waste of money, very costly for limited lessons. The trial was an ok experience so we decided to stick along with it. The teachers are useless and expects my child to remember everything immediately otherwise they would not progress with the lesson. My child struggled and was embarrassed as he was slowing the class down. We reached out to Lingoace and asked if we could get a refund and let Lingoace charge us for the lesson we took. However, they declined. We also get continuous phone calls asking us to get more lessons, this shows that Lingoace is a greedy company which only care about the benefits of themselves. I want to unsubscribe but the phone calls keep coming in, it’s so annoying. Lingoace also offers a service where if you refer the app to a friend , they would give you free lessons which suggests the actual price is insane as they would simply give free lessons for referrals. My son has lessons twice a week and wishes he could quit, but as we have paid for numerous lessons, we can’t put it to waste. Everyone reading this, I recommend YouTube for learning a Chinese as it is easier to understand and less stressful. Teachers in Lingoace are impatient and set out homework that are beyond challenging. Most of the reviews are fake and made by Lingoace teachers to maintain an good reputation. If anyone wants to try Lingoace, I’m letting you know that Lingoace does still charge you for lessons which you are absent or busy. This shows that they do not care about you and only care about their own time. We had 3 teachers so far and 2 of the teachers we had would get mad at us for not understanding immediately which is insane. I have never felt this disappointed by an Chinese Learning app. Anyone who says Lingoace is good are only saying that so they could get free lessons. All the teachers in ads appear to be friendly and helpful but in face they are the opposite. Rubbish teachers, high prices, what a scam.

Terrible, they keep on asking until you answer. Their homework dosent open on numerous times and they blame it on you. Their lessons are overpriced and teachers not experienced do not ever go on it!

The teacher is good but the service from the company is not good. First, they keep changing the learning advisor. Second, the learning advisor does not have sufficient knowledge on the modules and the child progress. Third, the customer service does not have the authority to book a lesson less than 12 hours in advance even when the cancellation was done due to their mistake!

Platform always hangs, IT support are non existent, when I tried to postpone class nothing is updated and still getting calls for not turning up in class. I rather pay someone to teach on zoom without any of these product issues

Does not work for all kids.
Child tends to get distracted with all the tools on the app. Not as good as most people think. Teacher also mostly from China, some cannot speak English. So very hard for the child to learn Chinese from scratch.
Also the recent Learning Advisors are no longer in Singapore. Heard from one of them that the whole Singapore team is gone.
With no support team in Singapore, how can I trust to continue classes. I was also shock to see that there are so many bad reviews in glassdoor that many staff in Singapore is being laid off.
Is the company closing down soon.
If yes, all the more to not buy too many credits. I have too much credits purchased so no choice now and hope they don't close down so fast.

My boy has been having Chinese lesson from UK. It has been months without a coordinating teacher supporting our account. There have been more than two times that the app didn’t work, and there’s nobody to find to support. Lessons were charged without attending. Even I contacted the Facebook and WeChat customer service, there’s still no coordinating teacher showing up to follow my case. Think before you join.

Thank you for bringing these to our attention. Our apologies again.
My boys are attending their P5 “ Blending” classes weekly . Consists of both weekday On zoom lesson - 1.5 hours . As well as attending physical in class session on weekend .
Both love the interaction between teachers and them . And learning Chinese . They find the notes very useful for revision .
I can highly recommend LingoAce if cost is not an issue.
Positives: dedicated teachers and professional coordinators. I can highly recommend my boys class teacher Mrs Zhao and also their coordinator Nicole, who have been extremely helpful in looking after all our needs in Chinese studies. Class systems and software are easy to use and professional. My boys having lessons twice a week, 1 hour each time. They are happy with the lessons and are making good progress.
Negatives: lesson price increase too much each year and there is no real reward/deal for loyal customers. When there is a new promotion, there tend to be an increase on hourly lesson rate.
Lingoace is a great platform for kids to learn Chinese. Teachers are all very friendly and patient, the class is well structured and interactive. Overall my kids like Lingoace and will continue to use it.
Vannies is very helpful and patience to get help us get everything sorted out and registration was quite smooth. Our kid manage to click well with the assigned teacher and the module was well planned and at a acceptable pace for him. Overall was great but the app sometimes having issue with the account settings and interfaces.
Expensive tuition and incompetent customer service
Expensive tuition and incompetent customer service. Started with superb service when they want you to sign, once your child is attached to the tuition, they started to ignore your request. They are proud with their provision of free lessons from conversion of points which parents accumulate through sharing their poster in social media. Recently they changed their system to make it so onerous for parent to accumulate points by setting stupid and inconvenient criteria for the media sharing for points feature. Including the requirement to have your face on the social media, only upload after 24h of sharing and resize your file and upload to their platform etc….
Feedbacked but the team can’t do anything except to keep asking you to redo. All these probably is to make it difficult for you to accumulate points for free lessons…a bait and switch gimmick!
