From what we can see, our team processed and shipped your order the very next business day after it was placed on Sunday, which we always strive to do. Just to clarify on the shipping: USPS charges us $8.40 for the most economical option. When the item itself costs just $10, there’s very little room for us to absorb that cost. We completely understand that shipping fees can be frustrating, especially on lower-cost items. Unfortunately, those rates are set by the carrier. Hey Jonathan, We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. Unfortunately, the boom you originally ordered had been discontinued by the manufacturer without prior notice to us. The replacement model does come at a higher price, and while we do our best to keep our site fully updated, occasional discrepancies can occur when suppliers make unexpected changes. To help make up for the confusion, we offered a $100 discount on the newer model. It looks like your order is out for delivery tomorrow—we truly hope you're happy with the product once it arrives. Unfortunately, these charges are set by the carriers, not us, and we do not keep any of the monies collected for shipping, all payments go directly to the carrier. For clarity, we post in multiple places on our website and in your order confirmation email that our listed shipping rates apply only to the continental U.S. and that international shipping rates may be higher. Our team contacted you right away with the correct rate, and since it wasn’t acceptable, you chose to cancel for a full refund which we promptly provided. We understand shipping costs can be frustrating, but given that we were transparent about the policy and issued a full refund, we don’t feel a 1-star review accurately reflects the situation. That said, we appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify.
