Hi Steve, The Neat Company thanks you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Neat Scanner. Looks like you worked via phone with a Neat Expert on September 19. At that time, it was suggested that you hardwire your scanner to your computer. Our understanding is that you successfully hardwired the scanner and were then able to successfully and continuously scan. We are happy to work with you again to troubleshoot but please understand that all Neat scanners are out of warranty as of July 2018. We can only provide limited assistance for scanners. If you would like to schedule another appointment with a Neat Expert, please check for support options in the 'Help & Support' section at the bottom left-hand corner of Neat when you sign in. Thank You
