Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the exceptional print quality, noting that multi-color prints turn out amazing with very little waste. Buyers also appreciate the fast delivery service, with orders often arriving in less than a week alongside secure packaging. Setting up the machine is described as simple, making it a great purchase for anyone interested in 3D printing. Some reviewers were not happy with technical errors, mentioning unexpected jams and persistent mechanical issues during use. A few consumers also felt that the software requires further improvements to handle complex tasks smoothly.

用户怎么说

Good, maybe under powered

I like the dryer, but it does not reach the claimed temps. I have put two temperature probes inside the sealed container while drying in multiple different locations, and have never measured more than 135F (not quite 60C), even with the heating mode on level 3 (which is supposed to reach 70C). Still, I think it will work for my PETG and I love the modular design, so I can print adapters for my AMS and some other sealed containers.

Snapmaker 回复2025-09-26

Hi Mitchell, Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to test the dryer thoroughly. We’re sorry to hear that the temperature didn’t quite reach the claimed 70°C. Please contact our technical support team at [email protected] so they can help troubleshoot and ensure your unit is working correctly. Thank you again for sharing your experience and insights. Dual extrusion tool won’t work. 2nd one too.

I installed the dual extrusion printhead and I could not get a successful test print out of it. This is the second one that I have bought that is defective.

The Printer Component is much better…

The Printer Component is much better than expected, only Luban does not really work easy, some steps are complicated and the description of how it workes is sometimes not easy to understand, especially for not a native English speaker

Snapmaker 回复2025-08-05

Hi Kurt, Thank you for the feedback! We’re thrilled to hear the printer component exceeded your expectations; that means a lot. Regarding Luban, we're continuously working to make Snapmaker Luban more user-friendly and will share your input with our development and documentation teams. In the meantime, if there are specific steps or parts you found confusing, feel free to let us know, and we’d be happy to clarify or guide you through them. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

Great product-wish there was a hardened steel nozzle

I have been a backer since the original Snapmaker’s Kickstarter campaign and have used both the original and Snapmaker 2 machines with the 10w and 40w lasers. I have been successful in using all 3 functions (3D printing, laser engraving and CNC carving), and the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because there is not an option to purchae a hardened steel/ruby/… nozzle for the 3D module for Snapmaker 2, so I’m unable to print with filaments that require one. I’ve always received great support and prompt shipping for items Ive bought using PayPal. I cant wait for the U1 to be available if/when the Kickstarter campaign is successfully concluded- I fully expect it to be another great product and expect to purchase at least one as soon as they are available.

Snapmaker 回复2025-08-05

Hi Gitpicker, Thanks so much for your continued support and for being with us since the very beginning, that truly means a lot to our team! We really appreciate your feedback about the nozzle options. The great news is that for Snapmaker U1, we’re planning to offer hardened steel nozzles as add-ons during the Kickstarter campaign, so you’ll be able to print with abrasive filaments without worry. We’re also glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with our 3-in-1 machines and support team. We can’t wait for you to try the U1. Your trust and expectations are exactly what drive us to keep improving! Warm Regards, Snapmaker

Support is excellent

Very strong, high-quality material, but of course, you pay for it. Higher price range. Support is excellent.

Not the easiest company to order parts from!

The last item I ordered was a spare part which is not listed on the website as a spare part like a nozzle or a hotend but must be specially ordered and the process is so archaic as to cause misorders, lost time in production or as in my case plain old frustration. Please change the process to make it like a regular part or filament order.

Snapmaker 回复2025-07-09

Hi Robert, Thank you for your honest feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused by the current spare part ordering process. We understand how frustrating it can be, especially when it affects your workflow. Your suggestion to make such parts available like regular items is very valuable, and we’ve shared it with our team for consideration. Improving this experience is a priority, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. If there’s anything we can assist with in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

The product is okay but shipping costs quite a lot

The product is okay, the shipment was on time, but the delivery costs are high and this makes me think twice about whether to buy or not.

If only it lived up to the advertising.

The advertising looks great. Beautiful objects printed, engraved and routed out. The reality is entirely different. As soon As I started using the machine, it began breaking. Nothing turns out well and no one can tell me exactly why. Your own service staff can't even figure out the problem. Then random parts on the machine simply start breaking. I have to pay for replacements, but shipping costs 14 x the price of the part. Your machine is supposed to be able to make parts up to 350mm, yet it does filament poop that uses up a centimeter so it can't even make parts the size you advertised...even if they were warped or whatever. And, your machine is expensive. And as soon as I bought it, there were almost immediately upgrades made and sold cheaper than the worse version that I bought! And, trying yo talk to your support staff is painful. Are they using a translator to understand my English? Their answers are inaccurate, vague, aversive and arrogant! They misunderstand me, but then tell me that I misunderstood them. And your company policies are appalling. Instead of being a machine built to last, the machine parts seem intentionally designed to desintegrate after a few hours. But, changing any part is so hard thst it takes more hours to change than the part lasts! I'm not really sorry for my mild exaggeration, because, your company doesn't seem at all sorry for the exaggeration that is your advertising. Re: Reply from Snapmaker "After thorough troubleshooting, we’ve identified that THE issue" THE issue? As if there is only one. "Gear wear can occur due to various factors, such as frequent usage, high-speed print settings, or using filament that is either too rigid or improperly stored." Or due to inappropriate design and cheap manufacturing. "We’d also like to assure you that all Snapmaker machines undergo multiple layers of quality inspection before shipment." And yet, parts spontaneously break after a few hours of standard usage. "As your printer was purchased over a year ago and the issue is not the result of a manufacturing defect, we kindly ask that you purchase a replacement extruder gear." My experience is interesting. I had interior decoration delays after moving to a new apartment. I left the machine in its box, in storage, unopened for over a year. Only about 15 months after purchase did I set the machine up. And the problems began immediately. Stainless steel strips and filament sensors breaking were just the beginning. "Regarding the shipping cost: since your delivery address is in South Korea and the nearest spare parts warehouse is located in Shenzhen, China, international shipping fees can unfortunately be higher" Then how do other Chinese retailers ship so much more cheaply? Is it because you insist on shipping via Fedex? They are no better. Your Fedex delivery men have not once obtained a signature from me. But, this is a point that I shouldn't have to argue. I shouldn't have to buy spare parts, because the shouldn't be built so cheaply that break with only a few hours of regular use. If I pay $1300 for a power tool, I expect it to last for years under extremely abusive conditions. Your machine, I treat as delicately as a light bulb filament and yet it spontaneously breaks. "...we sincerely apologize..." Your reply does not seem at all sincere. It seems evasive, misdirecting and essentially an attempt at damage control that creates a surface impression with no real substance.

2025/06/09 Update: Hi Cori, Thanks for your update. While we identified under-extrusion caused by gear wear as a primary issue, we’re also sorry to hear that multiple problems occurred from the very beginning. We understand how disappointing this must be, especially considering the machine was stored unused for over a year and began showing issues immediately after setup. We regret the premature failures of components such as the filament sensor and stainless steel strip. We strive for quality and durability in both design and manufacturing, and it's clear we fell short in your case. Your feedback is being taken seriously and will be relayed to our product team for improvement. Regarding shipping, we understand your concerns and are actively working on offering more flexible and cost-effective logistics options. We apologize if our previous response felt insincere. That was never our intent. If you'd like us to review your case further or offer assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected] directly. Warm Regards, Snapmaker ------------------------------------ Hi Cori, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're genuinely sorry to hear about your experience, and we completely understand how disappointing it is when expectations aren’t met. Please know that we take your concerns seriously and have carefully reviewed your case with our technical support specialist, Kira. After thorough troubleshooting, we’ve identified that the issue stems from under-extrusion, caused by a worn extruder gear. Gear wear can occur due to various factors, such as frequent usage, high-speed print settings, or using filament that is either too rigid or improperly stored. We’d also like to assure you that all Snapmaker machines undergo multiple layers of quality inspection before shipment. As your printer was purchased over a year ago and the issue is not the result of a manufacturing defect, we kindly ask that you purchase a replacement extruder gear. Regarding the shipping cost: since your delivery address is in South Korea and the nearest spare parts warehouse is located in Shenzhen, China, international shipping fees can unfortunately be higher, especially for small replacement items. That said, we completely understand your concern and have shared your feedback with our logistics team to explore better shipping solutions in the future. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your candid input. Your feedback is valuable to us as we continue working to improve both our products and customer service experience. If there’s anything more we can help with, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

The snapmaker works, but nothing else does.

I have a cover for my snapmaker and both the lights and fan haven't worked since I bought it. In addition, the software doesn't work well. It sometimes takes me an hour to transfer a design to the machine. The software will freeze and I need to turn both the computer and the snapmaker off, then back on again, one at a time. I sometimes need to do this more than once. The lack of good documentation was also a problem when I first used it.

If you're in it for the journey of…

If you're in it for the journey of self-discovery and forum searching. You're in the right place. While the product is durable and very stable, I find most of my answers are by trial and error and figuring out via forums if my issue is the user, the software being glitchy, or the firmware update out of date. Very little 'just works' for me. All that being said, you get 3 tools in one box and can choose what you do and don't want to grow beyond. I bought the dual extruder and it was nothing but impossible to keep from gunking up and clogging. I finally gave up and bought I different printer that 'just works' and I can grow from there. My laser and rotary tool are my steady uses but it is a love hate relationship. Love the results when I get it all working right, but the the weirdest errors that require another quest. My latest fiasco had my software update and then the laser wouldn't work. It would go to the programmed work origin and just sit there. After several round trips with support ticket and forums searching I rolled back to several versions old software and it finally gave me an 'enclosure not closed' error. Turned out one of the two magnet on the enclosure door had slipped and fallen away from the sensor that effective tells the system that the enclosure doors are safely closed and to proceed with firing the laser. That was three weeks of WTH?

Hi Charles, Thank you for your detailed feedback and for sharing your recent experience with our product and support process. We truly understand your frustrations and appreciate your patience and honesty. As for the Dual-Extrusion 3D Printing Module clogging, we understand how frustrating this can be. There are several factors that may cause the hotend to clog. You can refer to the following Wiki link for a detailed troubleshooting guide: 🔗https://wiki.snapmaker.com/en/general/troubleshooting/filament_not_extruded We also recommend checking: 1. Whether the G-code parameters are set correctly: https://wiki.snapmaker.com/en/general/manual/filament_library 2. Whether the cooling fan for the hotend is functioning properly during printing 3. If both hotends are affected or only one 4. Whether you have installed the Replacement Kit for the Dual-Extrusion 3D Printing Module If the troubleshooting steps seem too complex or the problem remains unresolved after going through them, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kira. She can help guide you through a quicker resolution, even via a video call if needed. Regarding the Laser Module issue, we’d like to clarify that for safety reasons, the Enclosure has a built-in door detection feature. If the laser module is used while the Enclosure is installed but not properly closed (e.g., due to a fallen magnet), the system will reduce the laser output to only 3%, which is extremely hard to detect with the naked eye. Since the video you provided was filmed with the Enclosure attached, and due to the low output level, our team couldn’t visually confirm the laser beam. Based on your description, they assumed the laser module does not emit blue laser light and provided the “laser not emitting” troubleshooting guide. We’re truly sorry for the confusion caused. Here is the Wiki link for Laser Weak Output Troubleshooting, which we believe is more relevant to your case: 🔗[https://wiki.snapmaker.com/en/Snapmaker_2/troubleshooting/door_detection_error] Regarding the issue with setting the work origin, based on the information you’ve provided, we’re currently unable to determine the root cause. Our technical support agent, Kira, has reached out to request a video to assist with faster troubleshooting, but we haven’t yet received your response. If the issue persists, please send a video to Kira so we can help you resolve it promptly. Lastly, we genuinely value your suggestions and take your feedback about the support experience seriously. We are continuously working to improve our service and deeply regret the confusion caused throughout the process. Your ticket has now been marked for priority handling, and if you would like Kira’s assistance directly, please feel free to send her an email or let us know if you’d like to arrange a video call for faster troubleshooting. Thank you again for your support and patience. Please know that Snapmaker is fully committed to delivering a better experience, and we truly appreciate your continued trust. Warm Regards, Snapmaker

Looking for Power extension cord

I was looking for a power extension cord to 2.0. Thought the 1.5m extension cord for rotary module would do, but it does not match due to the offset pin layout.

It so happened that at the same time…

It so happened that at the same time two machines reached me - Bambu Lab X1 C and Snapmaker Artisan Pro Combo. I haven't had the opportunity to test CNC and a laser in Snapmaker yet, I only compare 3D printing. In all aspects - ease of use, work speed, software, quality of bambu x1c printing is better class. As if two different eras. Only the size of the working area speaks for Snapamker. I am all the more sorry that I have been trying to buy Artis for several years, hoping that it would be an ideal combination of several functions in one machine. So far, one of these functions - 3D printing is a disappointment. In fact, I regret a bit that I had the opportunity to make it comparison. Maybe if not, Snapmakre would seem to make your dreams come true.

We're constantly working to improve the 3D printing experience, both in software and hardware. We hope you’ll find the laser and CNC features more aligned with your expectations once you’ve had a chance to explore them. A350T is OK

I use the A350T once a month or so, given the light usage, it’s disappointing that I have replaced the controller and touchscreen already, as well as 3 hotend kits. Parts supply to Australia is patchy too, some parts have to be ordered from overseas, complicating the issue. Overall it is a good kit, but comes with frustrations.
