I have 3 engines from Stirlingkit now
I have 3 engines from Stirlingkit now. A V2, a Cison L4 flathead and a Cison V8. I have needed a few parts for these engines to have as back up parts and have made 2 warranty replacement requests for parts. Mona has always been very helpful and gotten me the parts I need. Replies take a couple of days because they are on the other side of the world with a 13 hour time zone difference and shipping take a while because they are very busy and not set up to be a parts warehouse, but I have no complaints and will buy from them again.
Two engines and counting!
I've got two engines now; I'd love to have more as time goes on and finances permit. Although the engines are a bit small they are very well made. I do wish they would make an inline three cylinder poppet valve steam engine but that's just a wish.
Replacement for a damaged part
The starter motor pinion wore out unexpectedly on my GS4 engine so I requested a replacement. The replacement was sent free of charge in about a week but I dd not receive it (maybe my fault in overlooking it in a package). I sent the request again about 2 1/2 weeks later not knowing a replacement had already been shipped, and another gear was sent right away without any questions. After it was received I found it was the second... This is great customer support!

I have bought three engines so far and it's amazing how well are working. I'a fun of the old style engines. I have an M19 hit and miss, a sterling and a two cylinder, four stroke. I'm planning to purchase an old diesel engine.

Good Experience
I have made 2 recent purchases from Stirling Kit. The first was a Cison V8 Engine kit with all the starter accessories and stand. It arrived within 5 working days using DHL shipping and was well packaged. The kit itself is a wonderful piece of miniature engineering and I am looking forward to building it. The second order was for an alternator to use with the V8 to make it generate its own power for the ignition circuits when running. For this I used their 14 to 20 day service tracked by Yun Express. I watched its progress from China to UK and it arrived within 7 working days - almost as quick as DHL. Brilliant.
Support
When building these engines it is possible to make a mistake. In doing so you may damage a part. Sterling Kit have great support, offer great advice, and have any part you could possibly need for your engine. For me, Sterling Kit have been great.
