I have ordered a few engines of them and I mist say not all engines are winners (and most take a long time to be shipped) but there help is good so in the end you get what you bought

More-less fine. Ordered engine and parts to build my own R/C car, but parts are going out of order to often. I'am exhausted to order replacements. Stirlingkit can not give an explanation why.

Great product selection
Great product selection, and high quality models. The 4 blade fan Stirling engine that I bought performs well, even on 70% ethanol, even though it is rated for 90% ethanol. Completely satisfied with my purchase. Shipping was a bit slow, but it was worth the wait.
Ordered the harley style panhead…
Ordered the harley style panhead engine. Right out 9f the box the one-way starter bearing failed. Waiting for new one.. took a few emails but says its on the way. Still and not heard back on 3 emails regarding the green cison v8 engine purched a couple weeks ago. No tracking. Just an email saying thank you for your purchase.
Buying spare parts directly.
I have found that searching directly for spare engine parts, such as my oil ring was very difficult, I had to email you to get assistance with buying the part I needed, instead of being able to find it, select it and buy it. But we got there in the end, so, thank you.
Order Delay
I placed an order 2/9/24 for 2 items. The order said 14-30 working days. It took 3 months to arrive, and I couldn't get an order update from them until I left a bad review. Otherwise I was pleased when it did arrive.

THEY SENT ME AND ENGINE 2 CYLINDER I BOUGHT FOR GRANDSON FOR CHRISTMAS AND IT WILL NOT RUN. THE VALVES ARE LEAKING SO BAD NO COMPRESSION. I SAW MY GRANDSON SO DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS THING WOULD NOT RUN. SENT E MAILS TO STIRLING BUT THEY ARE NOT MUCH HELP. I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THESE ENGINES ARE NOT BUILT VERY WELL. AND THERE IS NOT ANY HELP FROM STIRLING.

I bought 2 machines from Stirlingkit: the 4 cylinder diesel engine model and the oil pump. With the oil pump it turned out to have quite a few problems and the battery was defective. So I contacted their service desk. I was notified: "We will check it. And we will have a Labor Day holiday and be back in the office on 4th May. We will check the emails by then and reach a solution after the holiday". Waited several months for message.... nothing. So I made a new email. This was their responce: "Hello, I'm sorry, but the customer service staff has resigned. Let me help you handle it. I want to know which product has a battery problem?I will contact the warehouse staff". This was on November 7, 2023. I gave them again all the information. After that I have heard nothing. They sell nice stuff, but oh dear if something is broken. There is no service. They say so themselves!!! So all the stories about this company's good service .... I don't believe any of it. Jan. 13, 2024 - Supplement to my review of Dec. 29, 2023: In response to Stirlingkit's response, I will not change my review. In fact, I expected this standard response. Empty promises. This shows, that they have not read my previous emails to them, or looked at the videos I posted of the build on my YouTube channel and thus do not understand that it is only about a faulty battery, So I really am not going to send the now completely built oil pumping machine to China.

Expect problems dealing with Stirlingkit.
Placed an order for 3 items, they shipped 2, and didn't notify me the third was out of stock. I asked for a refund for that item, and it took over a month to get a refund short $15... I had to dispute the charge to get that. Not a very good company to do business with.
Not All Engines Run
I have a stirling engine purchased from this retailer. Unfortunately, the engine does not run. All the mechanical components appear to be in working order, however, regardless of fuel type and the time I let it heat up, the engine simply does not run on its own. It's a nice engine, and appears well made. I would have liked to see it in its working state.

I have purchases several engine kits…
I have purchases several engine kits based on reviews that I have read. ALL of the engine kits were missing parts. If a picture puzzle is missing a part you can still make the puzzle. If an engine is missing a part the engine wont run. The assembly of the engine becomes impossible. I have purchased several of the engine kits from DYIENGINE and all of them are missing parts. I will qualify that after contacting diyengine that they are very willing to provide the parts required. I just have to provide them with pictures and circles of the parts that are missing. So sorry but I have been trying to figure out how to do that. I offered to return the kits that they have sent me for return kits with all of the parts required to build the kits but that didn't seem to work. All of the kits come from China so I can see how that would be a problem for them. Not a problem for me, I get constant emails with offers for more products, it would seem that this is just another internet scam company. Sorry but there is no less than one star. There products are sold incomplete, look really good on the advert but you get no parts.

Received a stirling engine however they substituted a cheaper model. When I complained they said the original one I purchased was no longer being manufactured. Wonderful. And they also keep the extra funds I paid for the more expensive kit. Nice job. Criminals!

I received an engine from Stirlingkit…
I received an engine from Stirlingkit and was very eager to assemble it. The instructions provided were comprehensive and made assembling the engine easy. The only concern I had with the kit is the lack of torque specs for the screws and nuts, which led to a runaway flywheel when the engine was first run. I would have liked detailed torque specs included. As for the engine itself, it was tricky to start but ran well when it finally got going. what appeared to be metal timing gears in the advertisements were actually plastic when they arrived. I would have liked metal gears, along with a better belt tensioning system for the timing belt, as the belt they provide softens and loosens under heat. Overall, I am happy with the engine kit, but wish it had a slightly higher build quality and would be willing to pay a little more. Overall it's a great kit and gave it to my son who assembled it as a fun project after finishing his first year in college.

A MUCKED UP ENGINE!!!!!!!!
I BOUGHT A HOLT 75 ENGINE FROM THES SCAMING GROUP. WHEN I TRIED STARTING IT IT BROKE. I SENT IT BACK TI CHINA AT MY EXOENSE FOR REPAIR AND THEY RETURNED IT TO ME AND IT WOULD NOT START OR RUN. A PART ON IT STILL FAILED AND I PAID ANOTHER GROUP TO REPAIR IT. THE ENGINE STILL WILL NOT START OR RUN. I HAVE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES FOR THESE PEOPLE TO FIX IT AND ALL I GET IS EXCUSES. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE ALL THEY SELL IS JUNK!!!!!

Stirlingkit.com is a bit sketchy. The only contact, customer service email takes 2 days to get a response. maybe cause of time difference. I requested a phone call night or day (time difference) they ignored it completely. The engine they said was in stock, cost 999$ that's a lot of dough for me to spend for a toy engine (enjomore dohc), plus a start kit for it ,cost Another 75.00. Plus shipping, Full purchase $1100.00. I took a chance on them with high hopes. I waited a month and checked in to see if it would be on its way. Told me it would be shipped in 2 more days. Waited a week. Checked in again they said it would go out in the next week. I started to worry about my hard earned money. It had been 45 days and it had not shipped. So far, iv gotten emails back from a Mona, that was a positive. last one I sent requesting a refund. Sent 34 emails, over 7 weeks beyond the original purchase date. In every response I got a excuse why it hadn't shipped, or a mistake was made. multiple times, I was assured it would ship by certain dates, but it didn't. I would ask direct questions in my email, and in their reply to my email my questions wouldn't even be adressed. Id rather the truth from a seller and be asked if id like a refund, not a answer to reboost my trust, then not have it fulfilled. Every time I asked for a refund they gave me a reason why I should wait a little longer, or given a option to change my engine to a in-stock engine, just to start the same process over. I lost my patience. Iv asked them for a refund and was waiting on it. it got returned back to my credit card once i wrote this review and a 2nd direct email for a refund. I was asked if I'd update my review to not be negative cause they returned my money. I wouldn't recommend buying from This website. Unless you like waiting, and getting a excuse over and over why you haven't gotten your product.The manufactur is overseas China. so I was expecting to wait a bit. I'm just glad that in the end I got my money returned.
