Most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many consumers deeply appreciate the exceptionally durable build, rugged exterior design, and dependable long-lasting battery life offered by these specialized mobile devices for daily use. Reviewers frequently mention that the hardware handles demanding outdoor environments very well, providing reliable overall performance and great value for money.
However, some customers also noted frequent hardware issues, mentioning that essential components like internal cameras, sensitive power buttons, or chargers stopped working shortly after purchase. Furthermore, many people experienced frustrating difficulties and unhelpful responses when attempting to resolve these technical problems through the manufacturer customer service and warranty departments.
Unique Android with own vision.
Unique despotic logic as: "Messenger (unrestricted) restricted 18 times".
Plenty apps that leaves own live. No chance to switch them off by any usual way.
Battery saver that kills the mornings alarm if this one is not Ulefone own.
Also Camera.. 50 Mb AI ))) without a chance to get some normal and usual.
Poor Customer Service. Charger broke with two months with no response from Ulefone.
Poor Customer Service....
So i've got a tablet Armour Pad 4 Ultra and a phone Amour 34 Pro from Ulefone. I'm happy with both of devices, however, the tablet charger stopped working within two months of ownership.
No major use with the tablet charger, probably used less than 20-30 times and it suddenly stopped working.
I contacted Ulefone straight away via their email/ticket system on their website and requested a replacement charger. One day later I was asked to provide video evidence of said charger not working. I provided a video and photos the same day via email. Unfortunately, Ulefone never replied. I sent a further email requesting an update, but again no response was received. So I now have an expensive tablet (£293) with no charger. I'd expect a better quality charger considering the price of the tablet.
I was considering buying another two tablets for my kids, however, given the lack of customer service I'm possibly going to look elsewhere.
In short, nice phone and tablet. But poor quality chargers and no customer service.
Ongoing hardware failures, safety concerns, and inconsistent support with Ulefone Note 12
I am writing this review to document my experience with the Ulefone Note 12 and the manufacturer's after-sales support. Since purchasing this device in 2022, it has developed a series of critical and escalating faults.
Documented Issues:
Persistent Performance Failures (2023–2026): Since shortly after purchase, the device has suffered from charging failures, poor outbound audio quality, and inaccurate GPS/location services.
Critical System Failure (2026): The handset now consistently enters a 'boot loop' during startup, rendering it unusable.
Interface Failures: Intermittent screen blackouts occur during active calls, preventing basic phone control.
Safety Hazard: Most recently, the side power button has begun to generate extreme heat during use, becoming hot enough to cause pain within half a second, posing a potential fire safety risk.
Support Experience:
I have engaged in extensive correspondence with Ulefone support since 2023. While the manufacturer at one stage acknowledged the issues and offered a free repair, they have subsequently retracted that offer. They now state the device is out of warranty and refuse to provide a replacement, offering only a paid repair service at my expense.
I am sharing this experience to provide transparency for other consumers regarding the product's long-term durability and the manufacturer's inconsistent approach to after-sales support for UK customers.
I've had a ulefone Note 18 Ultra for some time, and like it very much. I've used samsung due to many years of buying samsung and loved the quality and sharpness of the images I got with their phones. I am a fulltime photographer of many decades, using real cameras 99% of my life, and these last few years, I've looked for phones also offering me the best in sharpness and image quality.
Everything else is secondary.
I can't expect to be somewhere with my big cameras and lenses with me always, so with this in mind, these past few decades I've always looked to have good phones with even gooder built-in cameras.
Recently while wanting to upgrade my Ulefone Note 18 Ultra, while in communications online with ulefone, they offered me a Armor Mini 20T Pro. This was completely unexpected, and though I totally was happy with my current Note 18 Ultra - the camera sharpness is incredible - I was already going to upgrade my phone, so I totally accepted their offer of a free Armor Mini 20T Pro, and am VERY happy with my decision. The Armor Mini 20T Pro is an awesome but small THiCK device, and though my tests with the thermal imaging capabilities impressed me, the images I got really blew me away too! Granted, when zooming in on any subject with a phone camera, the sharpness is not as evident BUT that's to be expected as it's been zoomed in the phone. As long as I do not zoom, it's okay, and I can live with that. The other detail is the huge image files this PHONE gives me, as big as an image file off my real cameras! WoW!! Needless to say, I am not only impressed but very happy with the phones.... remember I already have a Ulefone Note 18 Ultra, and now the Armor Mini 20T Pro.
As a homeowner, the thermal possibilities of the Armor Mini 20T Pro are endless. I walk around the house checking for air leaks around my home! I fly a drone, and in Winter, I check the drone fuselage temp before and after a flight to see how cold/hot my drone is after a flight. Its other many uses in/out of the home are so numerous, so love the thermal function of the phone! My only problem is my eyesight ain't that good any longer so I cannot see the display well with it being a mini, so I've just put in an order for the NOT mini version of the thermal phone, which I expect to be delivered any day now! My wife is very excited because she's experienced my ups & downs with the thermal Ulefone phone, and now she wants it after I get my ordered full-sized replacement thermal camera: the Armor 25T Pro
I had a Power Armor 18T. It's advertised as meeting MIL-STD-810H/IP69K certifications. It's a lie. What will happen is that the rubber backing will begin to lift off the phone. You think that this is cosmetic but no, it's not. The rubber is simply pressed into the case with lots of spikes that go into holes into the case. What they dont tell you is that once the rubber comes off, for unexplained reasons, your phone is about waterproof as a colander.
Build quality on these phone is pretty much a lottery. Avoid this brand like the plague.
To provide some context, I had this phone since Dec 2023. I bought the phone to be rugged. But I have not been taking this phone to extreme environments. I work in a office environment and go outdoors in the weekend. I've lived with this phone on a daily basis since purchase.
The rubber started coming off on its own a few months ago. This phone has never overheated or been left out in the heat. The phone leaked simply by being washed under a tap with water that was not under pressure.
A rugged phone in a benign environment should last far longer than 3 years.
My phone stopped making contacteless payments suddently. I was about to replace my phone with a new one. I contacted Ulefone Customer Support via email describing my problem. The Customer Support team gave me instructions for updating the firmware using my laptop. Now, my phone work perfectly!
Armor 29 pro supposed to be rugged and last long time but mine is cracked and broken after 6months worst than any other phone I had. Camera is poor, battery life good but its nothing special from the phone which weights 1kg. No spare parts, customer service also doesn't exist.
I got an ulefone armour 18t in ebay a few years ago. One year and a half later the rubber parts of the phone started to fell off. I had to contact ulefone because it wasn't responsibility of the ebay seller anymore.
There were a lengthy exchange of emails and questions regarding the warranty but they follow through all the way and I had answers quickly. They sent the parts from china I needed to repair the phone free of charge.
I love the phone
Good warranty team.
I have been using this company's products for over a year. I first bought an armor 24 for myself, and now I have bought one for my uncle as a gift. My friends have an armor 27. I recommend this company's devices to everyone. It is a guarantee of quality and reliability, and I have used many secure and unsecure smartphones during my work, and they have not lasted long. In addition, excellent after-sales service, courteous and responsive technical support who will guide you from A to Z if you encounter any problems, if you contact them. I was impressed with the quality of both the devices and the service. I am glad that I purchased the products of this company and was not mistaken)
Have had two or three phones.
Jerk you around on warranty even if you buy direct. Newest phone PA19 overheating issue. Ipv4 case started hanging off phone. No longer sealed and protected from elements. CS is moving in circles with no resolution in sight. One store - many storefronts - each supposedly responsible for their product not manufacturer. Twice burned on warranty

Ulefone Armor 13 / Armor 13 Pro is rubbish.
it can't perform simple tasks as push a notification.
I deactivate all possible options for "battery savings" but unless the phone is unlocked the and the app is open would not push a notification.
Money in the drain, very frustrated.
07/05/26: Proactively? I have to send 2 email. but thanks

UPDATE:
I have been in contact with Ulefone regarding my issue, and I am glad to say that they have shipped out the part I need to repair my phone.
Turns out I need a new motherboard for the USB/OTG hardware.
My issue could be resolved 100% in the near future.
I will add another update once the repair is complete to let everyone know how it went.
I am writing about my experience with ulefone support, as well as my ownership experience with my Ulefone 27T pro.
The device is awesome, takes great pictures, night vision camera works flawlessly, thermal imaging by FLIR is great but sometimes I need to restart the phone as it doesn't startup properly. The battery life is amazing never had a phone last for days since I had a Nokia... Lol
My problem started when the os15 update came out... The update came in October of 2025 I purchased my device in 2024. When I installed the update, things were going great for a few days until I plugged it into my truck and carplay didn't start .. didn't think much of it... Assumed the cable was no good. When I got home I replaced the cable, still didn't work. I switched to the cable that came with the phone and that didn't work either... Ended up installing an update for my truck thinking the software was out of date... That didn't work either. So I tried to connect to my computer... That didn't work either. The usb cable would charge only... No data transfer through the cable.
I contacted ulefone.com for help with this and after 6months of back and forth with them trying things and running tests it has been determined that my OTG hardware has failed. They gave me a link to download software to my computer alone with the original software to reinstall, however it required using the USB cable to install it which doesn't work...in the end, they basically told my that I wasted their time and there was nothing that they could do.
Over those same months I read hundreds of reviews from other users experiencing the same issues and it was determined that the software update was the root cause. And other manufacturers have sent OTA updates to rectify the issue...
I ended up getting a wireless carplay adapter so that I could connect to my vehicle again but I cannot connect it to the computer to download the thousands of photos and videos that are on the device.
I'm very frustrated with the outcome of this especially when there is documentation on the web about OS15 causing OTG issues for some users and devices.
The product was amazing and I highly recommended it to others who have purchased devices... However now after my experience I am unlikely to refer people to Ulefone. I was looking forward to upgrading in the next year or so to a newer model, but now I am considering other companies like Blackview which I have owned 4 different ones in the past
So disappointed that a software update broke my phone. Everything else still works on it and I am still amazed by the days of battery power... But the lack of after care for software issues is not very convincing for future purchases.
I could probably list off many other things about the customer service I recieved... But what's the point... I think this covers the jist of it...
I have the Ulefone power armour x11.
This phone is a total joke. It’s built like a tank on the outside but has the brain of a toasted sandwich on the inside. You press the power button and then you might as well go make a coffee, have a nap, and move to a new house before the screen even realizes you touched it. And when the display finally does decide to wake up, it doesn't just "turn on"—it loads every single individual pixel one by one like it’s hand-painting a masterpiece from the 90s.
TikTok freezes the entire system so hard the audio keeps playing like a ghost in the machine while the UI just gives up on life. Every five seconds, I’m stuck in a "Not Responding" loop of hell. The only "pro" is that, by some miracle of gambling, the thing occasionally actually turns on, which is a genuine shock every time it happens. It’s not a "rugged phone"; it’s a 200-gram brick that’s testing my will to live. Ulefone managed to build a device that’s basically unbreakable, which is a shame, because I’ve never wanted to smash something against a wall more in my entire life.
Absolutely amazing phone. My Samsung Galaxy broke so was looking for a new phone that had to be rugged. I thought buying the Armour 16 was going to be a downgrade but I was so wrong.
It's super fast and works very well. The night vision camera is incredible and I'm really not sure how they've managed to create this phone given how much it costs.
All in all it's the best phone I've ever had and definitely sticking to the brand now
Support actually resolved my issue with an OTA update
I had an issue after a software update where the battery current was no longer displayed correctly in apps like AccuBattery.
I contacted Ulefone support and they actually took the time to investigate the problem. After some communication, they released an OTA update that fixed the issue. Now everything works as expected.
I really appreciate the fact that they listened and provided a real solution, not just a generic response.
Overall, a good experience with their support team.
