Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently praise the extremely helpful staff and responsive customer service team for consistently resolving inquiries quickly, politely, and very professionally. Consumers also deeply appreciate the smooth user experience and efficient assistance provided with everyday payroll tasks and official documentation needs.
Though some reviewers were not happy with the overall service, mentioning severely delayed responses, unresponsiveness, and frustrating communication issues regarding payroll or system access. A few people also felt that the online platform was unnecessarily restrictive and that support members occasionally struggled to provide clear resolutions for urgent problems.
Overall, I had a positive experience with their customer support team. They were friendly, approachable, and proactive in assisting me, which made communication easy and pleasant.
However, there was a mix-up internally that led to me receiving incorrect information initially. That said, once I reached out for clarification, they were quick to acknowledge the issue and rectify it, which I appreciated.
Going forward, there’s an opportunity to improve by streamlining internal processes to enable faster, more accurate responses. It would also be beneficial for the team to verify information more thoroughly before sharing it with customers, to avoid similar confusion.
Overall, a supportive team with good intentions, and with a bit more refinement in their processes, they could deliver an even better customer experience.
Good communication.
Whenever there is a misunderstanding, communication has always been a constant part of solving it.
The only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because sometimes change takes time to be reflected in salary but they do make up for it and it’s always a fair and square solution.
Crooks. We originally agreed to use Multiplier for an EOR and then after some deliberation, decided it wasn't the right platform for us. I communicated this to them BEFORE we ever did any onboarding. Other than 2 phone calls from one of their sales team, they delivered absolutely nothing and didn't have to allocate a single resource to us. Instead of doing the right thing and allowing us out of our contract (since they did literally nothing) they demanded payment and ultimately sent us to collections. We ultimately settled for a fraction of the amount they were attempting to collect. I own a business, I fully understand why contracts are in place. But there's also a place to act with a degree of ethics and morality. It would be one thing if they actually deployed resources to my account and then I decided to break the agreement. That wasn't the case here and they still tried to hold me responsible for something that was over before it ever even started. Unethical crooks.
They committed numerous mistakes with missing & delayed pay that caused a crisis for our remote employees. We had to invest significant funds and time to rectify the issue, and communication/support only added to the confusion and frustration for employees and HR/management alike.
This company is a scam. Do not use them under any circumstances. They use underhanded and coercive tactics and do not respond to any queries and overcharge you. Avoid at all costs.
They were easy to work with until it came time to leave! They have been giving me the run-around for weeks about the refunds due me for the upfront deposits paid. The amount exceeds €10.000, and all of the employees have been off their payroll for months, yet they keep coming up with reasons why they are not sending the refund. I would definitely nor advise doing business with them.
The customer service response time was excellent. Deepikaa was kind and eager to help.
The negative rating is because I needed to wait one month to receive my health insurance, due to delays from the benefits team.
Quick response to solving an issue the second time around. The first request was misunderstood and fixed incorrectly, but once the team realized the mistake they were able to correct it.
I have encountered many issues with Multiplier as a whole. Payments coming in late, issues with the website, slow approach to resolving issues and occassionally even missing money, but luckily the customer service team does put in the work to help you resolve these.
With my latest issue for example, Rohini responded to my emails very quickly and hastily worked to resolve these problems.
I would strongly discourage any employer to sign up with Multiplier as their organisation is a complete chaos. You have to triple check each invoice, they outsource local compliance/entities in the EU countries they claim to represent meaning questions take forever to be answered, and none of their teams know what they're doing. We've moved to Deel now and it's a breathe of fresh air.
I put in request and I did not hear anything back from multiplier until after my work place got involved and resolved the issue with multiplier. I had no updated or contact until 3 days after my complaint.
If you want to get a lot of headache and constant errors this is the place.
Some of the things that went wrong:
- lied about the market exchange rate
- lied about total costs
- employed through a partner, not their company
- errors in invoices (always in one direction)
- now they are not sending the deposit back (they are having errors with their bank)
They do fix the errors at some point (that's why 2 stars, not 1), but overall it requires a lot of management from our side and it's just a frustrating time waste.
They ask very aggressively for positive reviews (that's why their rating here is so high). Don't believe it.
