Webshare Proxy

Hi there, We’re very sorry that the service did not work as expected for your API backup, and we understand how frustrating the experience must have been. The Proxy Server plan uses datacenter proxies, which some APIs may detect and rate-limit more frequently. Static Residential proxies may have been better suited to this use case, although access to a specific API can never be guaranteed. Your account was also required to complete ID verification before continuing to use the service. We understand that you did not feel comfortable proceeding. Since the verification was declined, we could not keep the account active, a refund was issued accordingly, and the account was suspended in accordance with our Terms. We’re sorry these limitations and requirements were not clearer from the beginning, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback. We have also reached out personally to discuss further details. Best regards, The Webshare Team

Hi Raichel, We’re very sorry to hear that only one of the ten proxies worked for you. We completely understand how disappointing and frustrating that must have been, especially when trying the service for the first time. The Free Plan includes shared datacenter proxies, so some websites may block or restrict certain IP addresses. However, we don’t want to assume that this was the only cause, as the issue may also depend on the website or application used, the authentication method, the proxy configuration, or network restrictions. We’ve contacted you privately to ask for a few more details about your setup and the errors you encountered. Once we receive them, we’ll be happy to investigate and help identify what went wrong. We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope we’ll have the opportunity to help resolve this for you. Best regards, The Webshare Team
