Caution required
You have to be EXTREMELY careful ordering through this site. I have lost THOUSANDS a few years ago. ALWAYS do buyers trade assurance only. use the platform for the purchase, the app is ok, but easier to do things on the website. sizes, quality etc etc are typically not same as standards in USA, so take extra time to double-check details on everything.

Several merchants that I have dealt with do not advertise with up-to-date photos and lack comprehensive specifications for their products. for once an honest and not shady seller but I got to say there are very few on Alibaba, out of 5 transactions this year only one gave me confidence and I do not trust in trade assurance any longer its a bit of a fakery. Its not like eBay, amazon or Paypal where they have your back f something goes wrong. with trade assurance its "they negotiate with the seller" meaning they ask the seller if pretty please he can make it right. The seller says no, that's the end of the story.

The seller received the money way before I even got tracking number and received it on my part. Others buyers I have use once the product is delivered they get paid seems fair enough. However, it didn't work that way.

This is not a review about Alibaba, but about one of the vendors, Shenzhen Poofect Technology Co., Ltd. I ordered a sample watch prior to placing my planned large order. I was sent the wrong watch, but was told that it was my error in that I ordered the wrong color. Not true and sent a photo of the actual order page.

Will NEVER buy from Alibaba again!
I purchased a lawn sweeper at the best price available. It was nearly $300. Sale went "well" (not perfect--delivery had a glitch). Then, ordered more stuff but they delivered wrong color and wrong electric plugs for US. Any attempt to return is a nightmare--even basic communication is the same. It is virtually non-existent. I will NEVER buy from them again--your entire purchase price is at risk and that's not worth saving a dollar or two.

Alibaba is not very user friendly website. It is very hard to navigate around when you are ordering from many vendors. For example amazon is really easy to track all your orders and their status. Alibaba can do better job in improving their customer experience. I order a lot and having very hard time.

I make regular purchases from alibaba, and I will continue to make them. However, I think the service could be improved, by evaluating their supplier database more in depth. I've had different experiences with different suppliers. Good and bad. I can say you have to be a relative experienced purchaser to know what to ask for the supplier. Since Chinese providers don't always come clean about all information, do not go just with price and photos. Ask all the questions you think are relevant to your purchase. And even doing so you can receive some products that are not what you expected. Having said that, I have also found good suppliers, and received also very good equipment, friendly people and they also agree to take photos and videos before you pay the amount due (if you negotiated 50-50, 30-70%) So I would look at the years of supplier on alibaba, the reviews, the market, the volume of sells, etc. Hopefully this review helps you.

Since beginning I want to order a set of fender flares for 2 doors toyota landcruiser mark II model 1985 from Mr. Dragon Su of Guangdong Ulon Cross-Border Supply Chain Co Ltd and I ask him whether his product can be fit or not initially I send him the his photos and details from his post in the message center. After order from him, he delivered me the fender flares for 4 doors Toyota Landcruiser Mark II model 1985 one. I ask him why he send me the wrong item. He told me he thought I want 4 doors one but I have point out to him our conversation from beginning to end I only ask for 2 doors one and I never tell him I want the fender flares for 4 doors one. He blame me on the photo I send him the photo of his which posted on alibaba.com which he alleged is for 4 doors toyota landcruiser mark II? As I said earlier I contact him by looking at a photo and details he posted and I ask him whether the fender flares can fit for 2 doors one or not and he told me is suitable. In the end he just said he very busy and have many order and he thought I want a 4 doors one and he so ridiculous accuse me on a photo which he posted himself which I ask him in the beginning can the fender flares he posted for sales fit for the 2 doors one toyota landcruiser mark II model 1985 !!! I am so disappointed to this unreasonable seller and I feel not safe if I ever encounter another seller like this who just want to sell or clear their stock not following to what customer wants to buy !!!

I have received partial shipment by FedEx September 12, 2023. I ordered 300 books. I have received 229 books. I am not in control of time of shipment or delivery. The time indicated refers to notification the job was completed. It was not shipped immediately upon completion. I wish to wait a day or two to see if 71 more books will arrive. Thank you. Compton McDonald I have no complaints about shipment time.
