Banggood Warranty Nightmare: Six Months Without a Solution

I purchased a device from Banggood for over 400 euros, which broke down within two months. Since then, Banggood has been unable to arrange the warranty repair. After a long and rather amusing series of offers, they asked me to return it to China at my own expense (promising to send it back once it arrived), yet they couldn’t provide the necessary information for shipping, such as the company’s VAT number required for customs clearance. To this day, they have not managed to resolve the warranty repair, and six months have already passed. I frequently shop at Banggood, but I will never again buy any item worth more than 100 euros from them.

Good product, terrible courier

The product was as described. A good projector for its price range. Nothing extraordinary, but it does the job. I am happy while it lasts as I doubt that there will be a replacement bulb once this covers its working hours. The absolut dissapointment was the selected courier. I had to literally chase them to get the product! While I was at home I got a message that the courier "failed to find me". I called the courier and after I waited half an hour in the line, I got a reply, that the courier never tried to deliver because "he had a lot of deliveries!". I agreed on geting the parcel from their office, but I had to go 3 times there to get it since they were full of excuses! "The courier has the parcel with them", "come back after 2 hours" and other lame excuses. The experience was so bad, that I will not order anything again from banggood, if they keep using lame couriers!

Resolution after 5 weeks

UPDATE: Banggood processed a partial refund quickly after I showed the product was also damaged due to incorrect factory packing method. The case took too long to resolve, but in the end a fair solution was reached. EDIT: I eventually received another tutorial video from Banggood, in which I saw that the product had been redesigned and assembled differently than in Banggood's official tutorial video for this model and the listed package contents (no maunual was provided with the product). With this new video, I was able to assemble the product successfully. However, this crucial information only reached me 5 weeks after my first complaint, despite my constant follow-ups. I understand this redesign is not Banggood’s fault. However, the support team should have figured this out much sooner. Instead, I was told again and again “it can still be assembled” without anyone actually explaining how — leaving me stuck for weeks believing parts were missing. Only the recently sent video clarified the situation. While I’m glad the product is now usable, the support process was unnecessarily long and frustrating. ORIGINAL: I had a terrible experience with Banggood. I received a faulty product with missing and incorrect parts, and despite providing clear evidence, neither the supplier nor Banggood took real responsibility. Customer service was unresponsive and dismissive. They promised timely updates and claimed my case was a "top priority," but I waited over a week with no response — and then my ticket was closed automatically without any resolution (we were chatting for 2 weeks and I was waiting for their promised response). Even after the seller admitted the error, Banggood did nothing to make things right. It felt like their main goal was to protect the supplier instead of helping the customer. Banggood failed on every level: product quality, accountability, and basic customer service. I won’t be ordering from them again.

Item was shown delivered but when I requested proof the picture clearly was not my house and worse yet wasn’t even remotely close to my address (you could clearly see the address in the proof photo). When uniuni did deliver, they were barely in the driveway when he rolled down the window and tossed the package into the middle of my driveway and left. I had video surveillance camera footage of this action. It started poring rain before I could get out to retrieve the package l. When I did get it, it was bashed up all over and soaking wet. What a pathetic delivery. I complained from the instant it showed delivered and was not. Banggood offer 6% off my next order (big woop) and later on, gave me 300 points. Still didn’t cost is them a thing, a very minimum attempt to placate me. Lucky, somehow the product was un-damaged. Nothing would have been done if I hadn’t complained and sent pictures, that probably bothered me more than the inept delivery driver.

Nerver recieved package.

Package recieved today July 31 ! Changed to 3 stars. Seems deliverydate was speede up. Happy for that, but a pain to wait +2month for your Order, you already played for. --------- Before 1 star: Nerver recieved package. Order 115460222 First time spending more than + 600 DKK, and Order dont find way to purchacer. Order made may 26. They sent mail about delay June 15. Still not recieved Order. Today is july 27. SCAM SHOP Be carefull shopping there!

Still no resolution after over a month! (SOLVED)

I ordered a SUP pump from Banggood and the product description was misleading—it implied the pump was battery-powered, but it only works via car cigarette lighter. On top of that, the item arrived scratched. I’ve been going back and forth with customer service for over a month, and they still haven't offered a fair solution. Totally unacceptable. I do not recommend ordering from them! Update: After many exchanges of letters, the problem was resolved and I am satisfied. :)

Unstable prices and lack of transparency

Banggood often runs constant “discounts” that seem more like marketing tricks than genuine promotions. Prices fluctuate frequently, making it hard to tell what the real value of a product is. This lack of pricing consistency and transparency doesn't inspire much trust. It feels like you always have to second-guess whether you're getting a fair deal.

Good price, shipping issues.

Did not get notification when product shipped. Product was not shipped in a box with packing protection, but just in the the manufacture's product box only, and it was damaged with a hole in one side. Product was a good price.

Very Poor Customer Service

I have not received two or three things I ordered and was charged for.

If your product arrives with a problem, forget trying to return it. They have you takes photos, do a movie and an explanation of the problem. Then they want more. then they want more, then they want more. I tried to return a smart watch because the software had trouble pairing with my Pixel but they just would not comply. So unless you feel lucky, punk! Well do ya? Don't do it!

Difficult to contact if you have an issue.

It is almost impossible to make contact with Bangood. I had an issue with an expensive piece of woodworking equipment and making contact through their system is difficult.

STILL YOUR PARCELS LACK ADEQUATE PROTECTION against DAMAGE IN TRANSIT.

I Disliked the CONTINUED INADEQUATE PROTECTION of Goods in Transit. Despite previous complaints you continue to Despatch Orders with Little More than a PLASTIC BAG to Protect them against DAMAGE caused through DROPPING or CRUSHING. When my most recent Order arrived, EVERY ITEM in the Bag had SUFFERED SOME DAMAGE and one item had been DESTROYED. ( I was able to send you an email when I spotted the First Damage, but I was taken ill that night and ended up in Hospital a few days later. By the time I was Discharged and Returned Home it was TOO LATE for me to Report the Additional Damage suffered by the Same Prioduct).

No assembly instructions with miter gauge. No instructions on how to square miter gauge to saw blade. No ability to increase gap between miter gauge and saw blade AND still use the scales on the bar. Good quality of manufacture but this tool needs improvement.
