I purchased a black view a55 phone and I can't complement it enough.its not the quickest 2 charge but I can get passed that with the way the phone runs.

My BV4900 works fine

I bough my BV4900 on Amazon a couple of months ago, and it works fine. It is a bulky phone, but that aside does everything I need a mobile phone to do. It connects to the car well, to give me Google Maps, and phone access. It's a shame you cant have two sim cards plus a micro SD, but that's not a big problem. The battery seems to last well, although like a lot of phones now, I don't expect it is replaceable.

Even 9month of new phone bv9700 waterproof afte 2times waterproof photo phone dead.... Close alone don't open the apps and cost 240eyros... And i text the support team on they send me to buy a new.....what a joke dont buy anything of them

A great phone, spoiled by crippled firmware.

A great phone but now with custom-crippled firmware installed. Having initially bought the BV5000 some years ago, the phone impressed me with battery life and general value for money so when I finally decided to upgrade, i decided to stay loyal to the brand. Unfortunately, that was a mistake in my case as the BV6600 Pro will NOT permit any of the usual Apps that make a copy of your phone calls, so you can check details later (we need it to check booking details etc). I messaged BV technical support and they replied with this:- Hello, customer, the current version of this model uses Google's default dial-up for recording. He cannot record without this recording function. It is recommended to download a dial-up APP with a recording function to use it. The problem is the "default dial-up" as supplied doesn't seem to support recording at all - and there are no clues what APPs *do* support it. Very disappointed as I thought the whole point of unlocked Android phones was that *YOU* get to choose what APPS you need and which ones offer the bes functions. NONE of the best reviewed / rated APPS can work with Blackview now. Why have they decided to cripple their hardware? Sadly, I wish I had not stayed loyal to Blackview. I now wonder what other APPS have been spoiled. WHY ??

BV 9800 pro, is it a good phone ?

I bought this BV 9800 pro for 6 months and thought I would share my experience with this phone. I see that the reviews and comments are rather extreme with either very good or very bad experience. I bought this phone for its price, thermal camera and other tools that comes with the phone which I think will be useful for me. I switched from a Samsung and initially was reluctant to switch to a Balckview branded phone after seeing so many bad reviews. Then I came across several Chinese website with user reviews as well, and the rating was generally good. I was able to read the review in Chinese with the help of Google. Considering this thing is less than half the price of a Samsung, I thought I will give it a try. Let's start with the things that I don't like first. i) To start with, I did not expect any support and the shop also told me so when I bought the phone. I get to test it out for 7 days and if things works fine, then I am on my own. The shop committed to fix/repair at a cost after 7 days, fortunately, I do not have to verify this commitment so far. ii) the phone is heavy, but then since the battery can last me for 2 days for every charge under normal use, I can live with that weight. The problem is that unlike the Samsung where I will charge it every night, I sometimes forgot to charge this as it does not have to be done every night. iii) compass need to be recalibrated after the phone is shutdown. It take 1 minute to do but a bit annoying iv) Accessibility have to be reset everytime the phone is turned on otherwise customize widgets and some other apps will not work. This should be a known issue and reportedly can be solved after rooting and changing some settings afterwards. Even so, Blackview should tackle that for a better user experience. v) pairing of bluetooth is not difficult but the connections occasionally drops. This can be annoying when you are driving as you either have to wait several minutes for it to auto reconnect or manually reconnect it again. vi) camera is just mediocre, its usable but quality is no where close to the Korean phones but then, the money you save from this phone can probably buy you a prosumer camera Now, let's go to the things that I like about this phone. i) as I have mentioned before, its cheap. Its less than half of a Sumsung flagship phone and it comes with thermal camera, wireless charging and various useful sensors ii) IP69K and I think it lived up to my expectation. I dump the phone into soapy water frequently to disinfect it after I go out. Sometimes, I would even soak it for a minute or 2 and so far no issue at all. This phone have also survived alcohol/HOCL sprays. The plastic screen protector is turning a bit smoggy, but everything else is fine iii) thermal camera, its fun to use and does have some practical application as well but if you need accurate temperature reading, then you need better equipment iv) random auto shutdown is common even for Samsung phones, Blackview is similar but my impression is that this happens less than Samsung v) this phone is loud and ring tone can be heard even when you are out on busy streets vi) most other functions works well including GPS, finger print sensor, touch screen, etc. vii) build quality is good and feels solid. I have not dropped the phone from 6 feet but I did dropped it on my work desk several times and I am more worried about denting my desk than the phone. Net-net, it does not have the best camera nor good after sales services but it does offer very good value/features considering it price.

LEGIT SCAM! DON'T EVEN LOOK AT THE GOOD COMMENTS, ALL PAID PEOPLE TO DO IT. They won't repair ur phone, they don't give warranty, although they state it in ebay and all their selling websites. Phone camera won't work and they simply wash their hands! They pretend to be stupid, the seller on ebay is disgusting, a truly stupid person. I paid for a new phone with 50% discount and he just "didn't see the payment" and said there was no payment. WTH

Blackview phone and customer service (or lack of service)

How in the name of Ghod has this company got a good score here? Over two thirds of the reviews are bad complaints! And the good reviews are obvious company shills! I have a BV5900 rugged phone from Blackview, ever since I have had it it has never received messages properly, seems to put itself to sleep. I wrote to their customer services for some help in maybe resolving this issue? The silence has been astounding. Not a word from them. Nada. Now I have a phone which I cannot use as it downloads messages and emails when it feels in the mood, even when it first turns on it doesn't check for messages or mails. I have even factory reset the whole thing to no avail. Needless to say I shall not be buying another piece of rubbish from this company. Cubot are a good company if you want a chinese phone, their customer service actually replies to queries. Avoid Blackview at all costs.

Bad phones

This is the second black view A70 I have bought first one stopped charging after 6 months and now this one the aim card slot has just stopped recognising SIM and it's less than 6 months old...my husband's one also A70 after 8 months screen went black and stopped working..do not buy

Overall positive experience BV9900

Overall positive experience with my BV9900. it is solid, i have dropped it, scraped it along the floor, taken it in the sea, dropped it some more. i take it the sauna regularly and it is fine. there have been issues with the software, phone freezing, switching off and more. this has me shouting at it, however i have always been able to reset and continue. yes the camera isnt the best quality, but very usable. it was stolen and now i am looking for a new phone, but it is still the best spec for me. i would like to give another brand a chance but the phone was still functional after 2 years. Just dont need support from the manufacturer as they are not good even if they are trying.

The phone's are rugged, but their touchscreens suck

The phone's are rugged, and generally reasonably durable (certainly more than the average smartphone). But the main issue is that the touch screens absolutely suck ****. I've had at least 5 different blackviews (mostly for the battery life), and without fail, the keyboard input is horrendous. It fails to register about 30% of the keys you press, and misreads the rest. So if you want a phone for messaging, don't get one of these.

Blackview Uk Ebay beware!!

After buying a phone from the official blackview uk seller on Ebay I find myself with no phone and no refund and Ebay telling me to contact ActionFraud. The phone I bought was faulty. Despite the big battery they mention the phone if running more than one app would lose charge faster than it would charge. This then got worse to the point that the battery simply lost charge whilst charging and running no app.I used this as a back up phone so was it was barely used. I was told to send phone back (covered by their warrantee) and provide tracking and they would refund me. I sent item back over a week ago which arrived the following day and after asking for updates multiple times have been ignored. Ebay won't step in concerning warrantees after 30 days and Blackview mobile refuse to get back to me. So not only was the phone I bought useless but I am now left with no phone and no refund. Avoid !!!!

You better iff getting a doro

Again another case of foreign junk. Looks nice but that's it. Bluetooth is horrific. Speed is horrific, android isn't 11 I have 11 on my other phone. Customer service want me to change my review from 1* to 5* then they will give me a refund. Does that not say it all.

Good phones .... But avoid the pain

The Blackview brand came to my attention some time ago and since the I have purchased a number of phones. Essentially these are solid phones and have proven useful. However the following are real issues that one should consider carefully before purchasing. I hope the CEO of Blackview reads this . 1. The support department just keep spinning delay reasons for non delivery and delayed time of delivery 2. If your phone breaks don't except to get parts or support in Australia. Save the time and bin your phone ( in an environmentally sensitive manner) as the time you will waste is not worth the effort 3. Trying to get simple items like a sim cradle seems too difficult for the logistics department of Blackview 4. The chargers seem to be low quality and frankly dangerous, prone to over heating. Be interesting to know if the Telco governance regulators know about this. 5. My BV9800 decided to freeze every now and then for no apparent reason. Blackview needs to get their support and service organized so to become a real brand not just a disposal brand for a second phone. The company support needs to stop spinning Covid reasons for late delivery and ineffective logistics and the lack of access to support. In reality, whilst there exists this ambivalent attitude and extraordinary belligerence to their customers I suggest you best stay clear of the brand.

Blackview Rugged phone -No Sir !Just a CHEAP PRC phone RUBBER DRESSED! My experience is about the BV 9000 model and the BV A80 S.Let's start with the fist the "rugged" one,can take light shock, light rain and short time period.When it comes to water my BV drowned in a spring stream of water 15 cm deep.When you buy it they say it can stand 1.5 mt deep water but when I mentioned it to Blackview the answer was "did you protect it?".So when they publicize it, they lie ! My device had 13-14 months of life and They affirm :"No device can be withstand forever",this means that it was designed with programed breakdown, and I affirm this because of the seccond BV I own the A80 S that precisely after 13 months of life started to loose LTE and 4G connection in random way/time (was not my provider because it was checked with the BV 9000 aside-and had no problem ).Since I've got those two smartphones got no IOS update-NONE.Bear in mind this when you consider to buy a Blackview :You'll be not considered after guarantee decay of the bugged "device"! I'll save more to pass towars better,verified brands .

My Blackview dropped from a height of…

My Blackview dropped from a height of 30cm. Screen broken. I was sent a screen to carry out the repair. Fell once more from my pocket. Again broken screen. Sent off for repairs. 3 months to repair. When the screen broken for a 3rd time, I had had enough. This is not a rugged phone. I have now had an Oppo for 18 months. Not one problem. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Built-in obsolescence

The phones are good but they have built-in obsolescence. I bought mine 3 years ago and now the parts aren't available for repair. This, when we are trying to reduce plastic waste and tell people not to buy new phones every year. Producers will only become responsible when we consumers force them to be. Don't buy Blackview phones until they can prove their phones will repairable for a minimum of 10 years.

Please,I am warning you to NOT BUY one of these phones..Its a scam... I ordered a phone on the 12/9/2021 and still haven't recieved the phone as of 12/24/2021..It a big Fraud b.s...and when you text them regarding the phone,they comes with the Covid bullshyt...But,I have ordered numerous items from Ebay after 12/13/2021 and all the items have arrived... I will be filing a case against them tryn to get my money back

I have a BV9800Pro which suffers from screen freeze. It has done so from brand new. Blackview will not assist, will not refund, will not repair. I wont buy another Blackview, it is not worth the risk of losing all my data on a bricked phone. The money I saved buying a Blackview has cost me extra in loss of data, enjoyment, photos etc etc.
