Awful

Awful! I have requested a refund and they are simply ignoring me in order to buy time so that they can just send me the phone (I have to wait about 2 days every time for an email reply). What a scam of a company!

There is not an option to give 0 stars :( The phones: Always touting the latest, greatest technologies. The Performance: Be happy if those latest greatest technologies are functional. The Customer Service: There is not any, but many promises will be made. It is a chinese company, so expect massive censorship when it comes to airing out issues with product on their forums (bbs.blackview.hk) I continually get: Reason: The message contains links to illegal or pirated software.. Posts are approved and put up, and then taken down when someone that understands english at blackview reads them. Including the purchase of my BV9900Pro and finally receiving it the ordeal took 4+ months last year. In June last year Blackview promised an update (Android 10) for July 2020. It is now March 2021, no update. From reading the posts, Blackview is hacking together phones with random hardware, so the updates put out do not work since everyone has different hardware in their BV9900pros. From this experience: First - Blackview is a very small outfit with no control of it's processes Second - Blackview does advertise higher end components/specs for their product, but have no idea how to use/integrate them. Third - No Customer Service, or Product testing/vetting before it goes to the customer.

Blackview are Sending out phones that are faulty out of the box.

So I backed a campaign Blackview ran. BIG MISTAKE. 5 months after they took my money, no goods. Just excuses. I tried to get a refund, and all I got were more problems. Deleting public posts on a forum was the final straw. I had to get my credit card company to do a clawback on my behalf. Blackview are sending out phones that are faulty out of the box. This is known by them, and it is still happening. Their solution was to send the customer the parts, and the customer had to do the repair, prob' voiding warranty and possibly the waterproof of the phone. You could send the phone back at your expense, and hope they sent it back to you. As a backer, I was told that I would have priority on the paid for phone. Lies Blackview sold to resellers 1st, then the backers got the leftovers. I could buy on eBay for the same price that I paid, and not have to wait months. You expect customers to repair their own equipment before you send it out. Sending it out knowing it is faulty. As a cherry-on-top, they then started email me with offers on another phone that was going to be produced. They still have outstanding orders from 5 months ago. Looks like they are looking for the next batch of suckers.

Phone began to fail 6months after use.

I've had my 9900pro for 6 months and it's begun to turn itself off and wont restart for hours at a time. When it decides to work again, there is still battery usage so I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm trying to get a refund from Blackview at this time, I cannot have a cell phone for work/personal that I cannot rely on. It needs to be working when charged, not rebooting or turning off on it's own. I was really excited for this phone and while it seems rugged, from internet searches on my issue it seems the internals and software are big fail points, not the physical phone itself. Would not recommend to anyone, I've never had a phone do this in 15 years of owning them.

Don't trust in the good reviews

Don't trust in the good reviews. The company staff are making them up. I and some friends bought a Blackview. All of us who bought the phone, we experienced problem with battery life exactly after 1 year. We never ever will bought any phone from this company. We read good reviews on Amazon, but we are sure they make reviews up. We found many users with the same problem than us. Another problem, battery is embed. You cannot removed by hand. Not good

Worst costumer service ever!!

Absolutely unreliable company

Absolutely unreliable company. The worst smartphone manufacturer in the world. They only want sell their bricks then don't care the clients. Absolutely no ROM updates, even security updates. Their after sales service is a bad joke. Only a poor forum where the admin seems to be a bot that can only says : "I will report to our engineers". But Blackview has no engineers. Be aware, it's a sh...smartphone company that lies and sell bricks for many hundreds dollars. After 2 Blackview smartphones... Never again. Even one star is too much!

Blackview started a crowd funding…

Blackview started a crowd funding project. Most users have not received a phone. Some that did get phone have had issues with them not working properly. trying to get a response out of blackview on my shipping date has been months worth of lies. Don't deal with these guys...

They do not respond

They do not respond, and if they do, they do not resolve anything. My order was delivered 7 months late.

Bought this phone a couple of months…

Bought this phone a couple of months ago and it was a complete waste of money! First of all it's incredibly slow, jerky and glitchy. Sometimes it just crashes altogether! You are constantly having to reboot it every 5 minutes because of how much it glitches and crashes. Second of all, most of the apps shut down and you can't use them. The camera decided not to work, anymore, about a month after I bought the phone and I couldn't take any pictures or videos. Even attempting to use it for video conferencing- which is quite important due to the times that we're living through right now, was a problem...I had an important job interview that had to be done through video conferencing, and because of this phone, I couldn't get onto the conferencing and lost the job opportunity! Thanks a bunch😡 This is the worst phone I have ever purchased. I know for the price I paid I wasn't going to get a masterpiece, but this was unacceptable! Don't waste your money on this shambles. Thankfully I have bought a new phone which is in much better quality. I will never buy anything from this company again!

BV6300 Pro excellent

BV6300 Pro Excellent phone. Fast, durable, Android10, 128gb & 6 Gb ram, perfect. Main camera fine, others a little off - but then it's cheap. Expandable storage, waterproof!

Poor warranty.

Poor warranty. Phone stopped charging seven months after purchasing. Contacted customer service via email and was told they would send a new charging port that I would have to pay to have installed. Blackview emailed a tracking number but no part ever arrived. Emailed back and forth for six weeks. Finally gave up. Managed to get the phone to work with a wireless charger. The lack of resolution for BV customer service is enough that I would never recommend this company.

I bought the blackview phone bv9900 pro, what can said about it, It is a water and drop resistant mobile phone, but sometimes it takes some time to respond when you click the application, some glitches on the software, but it is a good mobile with a loads of modernity sensors....

BV 9600pro phone was ok while it worked, but customer service very poor. Selfie camera stopped working after about 2 months. Promised me a replacement but nothing happened. Then the screen shattered from a small height (which I didn't expect from a rugged phone). No reply to my messages on eBay, or directly. Paid £260 for a phone which was unusable after 6 months. Disappointed in the build quality, but also poor customer service. I wouldn't buy a blackview again.

Blackview A80 Plus is Much better than Samsung Budget Range

I have been pleasantly surprised by my Blackview A80 Plus which was bought on eBay and cost virtually nothing (around £85). The memory is double that of Samsung A10s and A20s we have been using at my company, the battery life is amazing with the phone regularly lasting a full 2 days, the screen is larger than any phone I have owned previously, and the phone came well-presented and packaged in a quality box with headphones, a silicone case protector, screen protector (although I replaced this with a re-enforced glass one), headphones and a UK charger. The only suggestions for improvement are the Android version (there is no reason for the phone to come loaded with Android 9 when Samsung are installing Android 10 on their budget models), and for the company to keep more stock in the UK or open a retail outlet in Central London as waiting, even for a few days for delivery, can be inconvenient - especially for company users who often have to replace phones quicly. The customer care was also very good (they sorted out a minor problem despite clearly finding it difficult to communicate in English). I highly recommend this particular model - in fact, there's nothing anywhere near it at anything like the price it is being sold at. Well done Blackview!
