Most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. People frequently mentioned that customer service is completely unhelpful, leaving buyers ignored and facing severe communication delays when trying to resolve product issues. Customers also experienced frustrating hardware faults, such as broken charging ports, cameras failing shortly after purchase, and poor overall device performance.
Though some reviewers were happy with their new devices and praised the reliable battery life, durable build, or helpful support staff, these pleasant moments remain uncommon. Future potential buyers should carefully consider these recurrent quality control and customer support concerns before making a final purchasing decision on the official website.
I've only had this phone for a few of days, first of all, the internet from my provider didn't work so I had a friend go through and set up apn which worked for internet but something else must need to be set or changed because I cannot send our receive MMS. Also when I use the phone the audio of the other party bounces back to the person I'm talking to when it's in it's normal operating mode. It's better when on speaker phone oddly enough, and fine with the headset in. Some apps that come with the phone say unsupported when I try to open them and my contacts icon will not open. I sent feedback about the audio problem (teens first thing I noticed) and got an email back asking to explain it clearly our send a video (!?) Not sure how I could be more clear but I explained it again in excessive detail and got an email back asking if it was an issue for every one of my calls. Yes. No response. Also, as I saw someone else mention it, I had ordered a BV9900 and was sent a BV9500, 'by mistake'. It took forever to get and now I think I may have been the one who's made a big mistake. We'll see if it gets sorted and I will write an update later.
I really had high hopes for my Blackview Zeta, especially since i bought it when the company wasn't yet big at all, but it turned out to be a bad buy. Very bad camera, easily overheating, fragile, turned slow very fast. The thing is i would like to give them another chance in the future, because something made me believe in Blackview, but i have to say that this first experience was bad.
Good size, good shape, fits in a large pocket. My previous phone was a bv9500, the one with the huge battery, so in comparison- this phone is much thinner and lighter but the battery only lasts half as long. It does have more features, like pedometer, gas detection and a much better camera. I do like the amoled screen and the gorilla glass.
The speaker is weak, the are slits in the back for two speakers but there is only one and the sound quality is poor, it the is a lot of background noise it is just too weak. The ear speaker is hard to locate and if you hold it just a little off you'll hear nothing, the size and shape of the phone and my ears just don't go together well.
There is no head phone jack for 3.5mm so you have to use either USB c phones or an adapter.
The phone is really made for use with bluetooth.
BV9900 Pro is a very good technically designeg rugged phone. I am testing in Iraq as military.Veru u nder Armour or in Body Armor puch no problem. And I am very satisfied.
The blackview A60 phone is good only one thing is can't use wifi when am on the bus or walking down the street how do you connect to WiFi names Tony sweeney my email for reply on this matter can u give me some help
Edit: I finally received my BV9900 after more than a month. Now I can test it. The feeling in my hand is good. It looks rugged but I haven't tried to throw it on the floor or dip it in water so I don't know. One thing that seems not right is that I cannot make my FLIR thermal camera work on the usb-3 port. My Samsung works fine with it.
I ordered BV9900 two weeks ago with express shipment for extra $20. The reason is that I read that it was the best rugged phone on the market. First ten days it was not shipped at all. Then DHL collected it and returned. When I ask DHL I was told that BV requested the return themselves. What a company. Why should reviewers write about this phone is a mystery to me.
I purchased a blackview a80 Pro as a gift for my daughter as she was struggling with an old Samsung that was so full of bloatware and short on memory it was useless. Well what a surprise, it was so good we have now purchased six of these phones, most of my family and friends are ditching Samsung and switching to this Blackview a80 Pro. The only way I can describe it it magnificent, for a budget phone it's a no brainer, for less than £90 the package is amazing. It's very fast and slick, comes with screen protector ready fitted and a spare one in the box, free jelly case, quality earbuds you can use with the earphone jack, (now not included with many phones), a battery you can't drain in one days heavy usage and will last up to four days under normal phone use. Duel SIM or one SIM plus SD card expansion up to 256 mb, but the big bonus for me is there is no and I mean NO BLOATWARE. This obviously leaves you with a big chunk of memory that is not gobbled up with useless apps you can't delete and longer battery life due to no bloatware running and updating against your wishes in the background,
If you choose to purchase one don't buy it from Amazon, their phones come from Brian knows where and have a charger that doesn't fit any sockets in my home not even using my travel plug, and it's £20 more expensive.
Don't be frightened of taking a punt on this phone you will not be disappointed.
Brilliant Value, Fast and Smooth Performance- Beats The Competitors Hands Down
I have used several Blackview phones and the current one is a 9700 Pro and they are outstanding value for money in day to day use it is not far off my iPhone which is a current model as far as day to day performance goes. As far as the styling you love it or loathe it but personally I like the look of these phones. The other factor is that when you consider the robust build plus dual sim capability its a great package - looking forward to the 5G model and hopefully they move into making tablets.
£78 for the Blackview A60 pro, need it for a year until my next upgrade.
Set up was the easiest I've ever had, it took everything from My old Sony, normally, I spend the first 3 days downloading Apps, trying to remember passwords for parking etc, normally a nightmare. This little bad boy did the lot.
OK the touch screen isn't that responsive, have to be a little heavy-handed when typing, but you get used to it, it doesn't scroll pages that well, but again you get used to it.
Done a few facetime calls, spot-on, can't fault it.
It isn't My sony xperia, let's get that straight, but the Sony is around £600 new & this is £78 & comes with a screen protector & rubber jacket, I honestly can't see how anyone can moan about something this cheap if I get only 6 months out of it, it's still cheap. Actually the fingertip recognition works better than My sony.
I like the concept of this phone. The Blackview BV9900 is indistinguishable from others. The build quality is excellent & it's indestructible, and the heliop90 chipset will ensure ultimate performances. The 48mp camera is more than great. The 8GB RAM will definitely give me a boost at gaming. 256GB ROM will easily accomodate all my photos and videos.
I'm a fan of smart phones, and I know this is the one to get. Hopefully this phone will fulfill my needs.
