SPA3000tl AC coupled inverter and GBLI6532 6.5kWh battery installed Apr2022.
Initially the battery faulted once it reached 100% for a couple of days in a row, but worked fine once reset. Since then has been running fine and doing exactly what it's supposed to. I'm guessing the BMU needed a couple of charge cycles to calibrate. I contacted support about this but received no help. Since it started working properly I never chased it up and they haven't either, so support is poor.
Great value system though and significantly cheaper than other options I was quoted for (several £k cheaper).
The monitoring and control software is beyond poor. If you're a data junkie like me it will do nothing but frustrate and disappoint you. I've since switched to "Solar Assistant" software installed on a Raspberry Pi connected to the inverter. Works incredibly, and more support is being added for my inverter all the time. Real time monitoring is amazing with data points recorded every 10s unlike Growatt which is every 5 minutes. Also it's not dependent upon Growatt's servers which are always down.
If Growatt had better software and a competent UK support I'd recommend them all day every day. As it is, you get what you pay for I'm afraid.

App hardly ever works - network timeout, (null), server not responding ...
When it does very very very slow login
Little to No UK support to help
Inaccurate data in the app when you are lucky enough to get in
If server.growatt is down in China you cannot monitor or setup your inverter
Inverter is good but cloud, app, monitoring & support is beyond poor
No integrations with energy suppliers like others do
A green energy company that drains your phone battery quicker than they can charge theirs as the app is a phone killer
You need to be technical (I am) to modify settings but there are no built in easy dynamic configurations
Weird behaviour on when the inverter draws off grid even though solar and battery have ample capacity
Serious lack of communications
When it all works it's 5 star on price, but after that everything goes south big time

I can't speak to the quality of the kit, not being a technical expert, but the data interface at server.growatt.com is shockingly poor in terms of available data, download options, and server response times. The Android ShinePhone app is almost useless - a major battery drain and for some reason disrupts NFC and stops GooglePay working properly. It would cost almost nothing to sort this out and the fact it's so poor reflects badly on the company's commitment to engineering excellence.

I bought a inverter from them, having problems from second day of install. No suport whatsoever. Trying to contact them throug the app, email, phone and WhatsApp. no one answers. Keep away from this brand.

do not ever by a growatt inverter there is not warranty on the tried to return where i puchased it the guy said he does not warranty growatt. then i contacted the place he purchased it from and was told they do not warranty growatt . i asked ifn they could fix it and they said they could not fix it. then i call growatt no one answers the phone or answers a email or you cant read the emails.
The system works, but the manual is of no help and assistance in non-existent. For reading the display of the SPH 6000 one needs to consult an expert who tries to interpret codes according to his own professional experience.
Very bad product and no after sale support at all! I purchased a solar inverter model SPF6000T DVM from this company. We installed the inverter and it worked for three hours under constant load of 440watts and then it blew up. The inverter is, of course, under warranty. For two months now, I have been trying to get some support from Growatt with absolutely no luck. Growatt China does not even reply to my emails. I tried their Middle East support, since I am in the Middle East, and they are just as bad as the China support. I even tried contacting their USA service center with no luck as well. I would not recommend this product at all.
I bought a growatt mehome solar heating unit to heat water using surplus solar energy Theunit failed to work and when the Growatt engineer came he discovered a fault inthe current sensor, the unit worked for the guarentee period then failed, it would have been cheaper to heat the water on standard rate electricity.
Wish I had never heard of Growatt
I don´t think they are a serious company. I´ve been trying to get a surge rating for two of their inverters, they´ve only asked me where I live and doesn´t seem to bother to tell me the surge rating.
I´ve also seen many people complain that if they need service/support, it isn´t there.
Faulty from day 1. It would not work there was no power.
I'm still waiting for a replacement.
Their website fault management is pathetic and not logical. There was no power, but I had to confirm what light was on when logging the fault. So they then wanted a photo of the error code. Something not possible with no power.
I was supposed to get a new invertor this week.
Now they have let me down. Will it be next week or another excuse. They probably have a warehouse full . So why can they supply next day. It was there fault not mine.
If they cant fix this when new, how will they honour a 15 year guarantee.
They SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SELL IN THE UK
Company produces solar inverters for world markets.
I purchased 4 5000 watt inverters from their dealer and upon powering up the system one of the units didnt work. This company will not stand behind their product offering no help.
