Alyssa - Top notch coach w amazing skill
Alyssa was such a highly skilled an amazing coach! She was very easy to open up to. She understood the issues and their complexities. Helped me navigate the most challenging relationship I’ve ever experienced. I couldn’t have done it without her! I’d hire her again in a heartbeat!

Hey Maria, glad to hear things went so well! Our door is always open if you want to explore more attachment work in the future, and we'll be happy to help.
As a mental health professional, I am impressed with how clearly Adam Lane Smith teaches about attachment repair. His work is based on strong research, explaining difficult ideas in a way that is easy to understand. Adam is also an excellent teacher. His entire team is well prepared to help others find a better life by healing attachment issues. I worked with Jeremy, one of his coaches, who helped me work through deep, long-term attachment patterns, teaching me how to let go of old habits and build healthier ones.
I was in the Attachment Repair Program for 3 months. The course is organized in a clear, step-by-step way and each lesson builds on the one before it. This made it easier for me to understand how my specific attachment patterns formed and how to change them. Instead of giving only theory, the program showed me how to use the skills in all my relationships! I stayed actively engaged in this process and my life changed in a way I wasn’t expecting. I now have renewed hope for my future.

The on-boarding assessment experience…
The on-boarding assessment experience we had with Jeremy was regulating throughout in what could have been a stressful experience. Jeremy pointed us to coaching with Adam especially since we have been going to therapy for over more than a decade. We each dove deep into our individual inner experience of the attachment assessment, asked many questions successfully navigated by Jeremy, to then finding our way much more curious into this process of healing our attachment. After digesting the information and a few sessions we reached more clarity to say yes. We completed the on-boarding process with more hope than we had knowing that the insecure attachment is not fixed. Thank you Jeremy for such a positive, welcoming experience and onto our way with scheduling time with Adam.

Hi Tish, I’m so glad your onboarding experience with Jeremy felt safe and supportive. It’s encouraging to hear that the assessment process sparked curiosity rather than overwhelm (we aim to provide as frictionless an experience as possible), and that it gave you both clarity and hope for what’s ahead. I'm looking forward to our work together!

My journey
I discovered Adam Lane Smith during one of the toughest times in my life. After a very painful breakup with my avoidant ex, (We were engaged) I felt completely lost. I was caught in my anxious attachment patterns, desperately trying to make sense of everything. I came across one of his videos on YouTube, and it was like a light turned on.
I also started listening to his "I Wish You Knew" podcast, and for the first time, I started finding the closure I knew I'd never get from my ex. His explanations just clicked for me. He's incredibly professional, and as someone in the medical field myself, I really appreciate how clearly he breaks things down. He gets straight to the point and explains the 'why' behind everything, which is exactly what I needed to recognise my own patterns and finally start to heal.
I was so impressed that I enrolled in his "How to Build a Secure Marriage" course when I was ready for a new relationship. This course gave me the practical tools I was missing. Other resources felt vague, but Adam's course has a clear, day-by-day structure. The 15-20 minute daily lessons were easy to follow and the role-playing examples were a game-changer—they actually showed us how to have a productive conversation instead of just telling us to "communicate better."
The biggest thing I've taken away is knowing how to effectively talk about issues without it turning into an argument.
I'm just so glad I found Adam's work. His approach is fantastic and he's helping so many people truly understand themselves and their relationships. This course provided the roadmap I wish I'd had years ago. If you're feeling stuck or want to build a truly secure relationship, I can't recommend it enough. Thanks, Adam and his team.

Jenny, this is incredibly generous, thank you. You’ve clearly put in the work and it shows. That mix of deep reflection, intentional action, and steady follow-through is what drives real change.
I’m especially glad to hear the course format made the process practical and doable. We designed those daily lessons and role-play examples to bridge the gap between “what” and "how", and it’s great to know they hit the mark. You’ve come a long way from that painful starting point, and it’s an honor to have played a role in that shift. — Adam

Life Changing
I had a truly life-changing coaching session with Adam Lane Smith today. His ability to clearly and simply articulate the key concepts around relating to different attachment styles is profound. I was able to understand the core reasons behind the ultimate ending of my 20-year marriage, as well as several breakups since then. This brought me clarity, closure, and most of all, self-compassion for what I had long seen as a personal failure.
I now feel prepared to start dating again, with a deeper awareness of the red flags to avoid and a stronger vision of what is possible and desirable in a securely attached relationship. Thank you, Adam, for your support.

Hi Kristin, thank you for this update. I’m so glad our session brought you the clarity and closure you need to move on with confidence. And that self-compassion you've found should finally free you from the trap of thinking you need to out-work your attachment challenges. It's time to move forward into a life that serves you. And I’m honored to have helped support that shift for you.

I have been more than pleased with the coaching that has been provided. I have bi-monthly sessions with Jeremy and he has opened my eyes to parts of myself I hadn't explored. He also provides me with challenging (sometimes uncomfortable) homework that I can see the value in. I have seen growth in areas that I never realized I struggled with previously.
The group coaching and repair calls that Adam hosts are amazing. I learn things about my nature and how to deal with struggles like setting boundaries, developing lasting friendships and effectively communicating (to name a few). This team is giving me the skills and tools I need to develop to have attached relationships in the future.
The library of recordings is a bonus. You can view different topics and listen to his recordings at anytime. I find myself being drawn to and wanting to listen as I get so much out of them.
I couldn't be more pleased with my decision to invest in my future happiness and well being with this team. Finding Adam on YouTube videos started this journey and I can't wait to see my transformation in the end.

Amanda, this is such a generous and detailed review, thank you. It’s great to hear how both your coaching with Jeremy and the group calls have helped you. That kind of honest effort, even when it’s uncomfortable, is where real progress happens, and it’s clear you’ve shown up for it.
I’m also glad to hear you’re getting so much from the recordings. We built the library to give ongoing access to support whenever it’s needed, and it’s great to see it being used that way.
You’re investing in yourself, and it’s paying off. I’m excited for what’s ahead. And we are here to help you along the journey.

My husband and I both come from significant developmental trauma. He is predominantly avoidant and I am predominantly disorganized. Our 17 years together have amounted to disillusionment, despair and devastating loss of hope in spite of our good will and love for one another. Our children have suffered significantly as a result. Yet, we keep trying. Two weeks ago, I first came upon Adam’s material. After watching the chapters “Avoidant Husband” through “The Menu” from his interview with Lila Rose I felt hope that I did not know was possible. I have long been convinced of attachment theory and of the relational neurosciences, but of all the phenomenal professionals that I have encountered, none give a road map for repairing attachment trauma like Adam does. Neither my husband nor I have ever in our lives witnessed an emotionally secure marriage. In our Western emotionally numbed culture, even the best of the marriages that we know fearfully (and often unconsciously) set the right brain as emissary to the left brain when in fact it ought to be master. As a result, we live in a society where there is little to no depth of emotional honesty, expression and processing. But Adam presents life, relationship and marriage in full emotional and neurochemical colour, as God designed it to be. I want for myself and for my husband the picture that Adam paints for marriage from filial to eros to agape love. We have yet to be privileged to access any of Adam's programs or coaching, but I can tell that I am already neurochemically changed for the hope that he has instilled in my husband and I and with that hope I can tell that we are already better. Thank you Adam and team. God bless you. By your work you are healing humanity and bringing man and woman to their full created potential. God willing, we will be able to afford and come to agreement over receiving your help. Be sure of another review when that happens. I can only hope.
Reply from Adam Lane Smith2025-09-17
Jen, what you’ve shared here reflects the heart of why I do this work. The pain you and your husband have endured, and your continued willingness to seek healing not just for yourselves but for your children, is remarkable. I’m honored that the material sparked a sense of hope where there was so much loss.
And you’re absolutely right: attachment trauma isn’t just a psychological issue, it’s a generational and spiritual one. And witnessing even the beginnings of transformation—neurochemical, emotional, relational—means you are already walking a new path.
When the time is right, we’d be grateful to work with you more closely. Until then, know that your words are seen, and your desire to build something beautiful is already bearing fruit.

Astounding results with an incredible professional team
Not sure what started the trail to Adam's programs, but I was in rough place looking for some new answers. I'm in my 50s, and I've had great success professionally and have amazing friendships and family. I was at my breaking point and exhausted from giving too much and not getting what I needed repeatedly. I had a long term failed marriage where I learned the hard way about toxic people and gave myself time and deep work to heal for several years before trying again. After 6 years into a relationship with a great man (who I now know is ethically avoidant) we were facing issues I didn't understand or able to resolve despite our best efforts.
I started small watching Adam's YouTube videos. I've been to therapy, and marriage counseling for years. I've done so much personal development over decades. I'd never heard or learned about attachment styles, but I quickly learned how it impacts all your relationships, and most importantly you! I then bought the two bootcamp courses because I realized I was with an avoidant man and wanted to increase my abilities to overcome my own attachment style. Incredible programs!
I decided I needed more individual help to unravel my issues and become the best version of myself even if it meant shedding my current relationship (which I truly did not want to leave). Little did I know that investing in myself and crossing paths with Adam's work and Alyssa 1:1 would change my life quickly in the best possible and astounding way.
I'm in week 8 of the 1:1 bi-weekly coaching, and everything has shifted for me. Alyssa is sweet, caring, generous, and brilliant at what she does. She saw that I had quiet disorganized attachment and helped me really understand deeply why and how. We immediately tackled the root cause of regulating myself in a way that fit me. She directed me to Adam's videos on quiet disorganized women, and I wept through them in week 1. No one has ever seen me and described me internally, but Adam and Alyssa nailed it. It's been life changing, and my relationship has transformed in front of my eyes in just a few weeks. I am SO much calmer and happy across my life.
Learning about attachment in a healthy way for yourself is truly the missing piece in healing forward and becoming the best version of you which is mirrored in all your relationships. Yes it's an investment. Worth every bit and more. I spent way more in therapy over the years and not had results like this. This is the real deal. Life is too short to keep repeating mistakes, and now you have an incredible expert professional team that gets it, is protective, caring, understands you and will guide you in a way that works for you.
One comment on the group coaching is that the first few weeks it was overwhelming with the structure in place, but Adam and team proactively made swift adjustments. I now love the Adam foundation talks and Alyssa’s weekly women's groups. I keep learning and growing. Huge light bulbs continue to go off!
The bi-weekly 1:1s are something I look forward to and am so grateful to Alyssa for the incredible direction my life has already changed. I wish I had known this 25 years ago, but it’s never too late, and I am eternally grateful to Alyssa, Adam and Lukas (who said Alyssa would be perfect for me and she is!). Thank you for your gifts to heal humanity through earned secure relationships. If you are on the fence and need a nudge, jump over, invest in yourself, and watch your life change.

Life altering
I cannot speak highly enough of Adam, his team and the life altering knowledge they share and the level of compassion and care that they share it with. I haven’t been part of the program long, but it’s already changed me significantly in how I approach all relationships in my life and I am committed to staying as long as I can to become securely attached and settled in a beautiful marriage.
Adam and Alyssa (haven’t worked with Jeremy yet) are prime examples of people doing what they are meant to be doing in life, living their purpose.
Forever grateful I found Adam on YouTube and decided to invest in myself and my future this way. My only regret is not having found him sooner. But I suppose it’s like they say.. when the student is ready, the teacher appears.
Thank you Adam, Alyssa, Jeremy & Lucas for eveything ❤️

One of the best experiences of my life
I spoke with Adam 10 times over the course of a year and a half. To say the experience was life changing is a substantial understatement. Adam's perspective and expertise couple together to provide wisdom that anyone on the planet would take immense value from. The patience, guidance and respect shown by Adam is a testament to him as a man. If you have the opportunity to talk to him, it must be taken.

Working with Jeremy was a great experience for me! As I discovered being anxious, he really helped guide me into stepping into my own power, living my principles and encouraging how I could reframe some of the ways I was thinking! It was so helpful to have a neutral person who wasn’t interested in blaming me or the people I love or making someone out to “be the bad guy”. He was supportive and helpful throughout my entire package and I’m very grateful!

The Missing Piece
We spent 2 years in couples therapy and in the end felt like we had nothing to show for it. Nothing really improved and with all the therapists we worked with, none of them focused on the solution. We just talked endlessly about the problem, which seemed to just keep the problem going. We worked with Alyssa for 6 months and I can honestly say this program is life changing. You do not spend all your time focused on the problems, you actually get to the solution. We set goals for our marriage, defined our marriage pillars and finally understood our behaviors according to our attachment styles. This is without a doubt life changing information. It's not easy and it can feel overwhelming but it's totally worth it. We came farther in 6 months of coaching both on a personal level and as a couple than anything marriage counseling ever touched. Everyone needs to learn about attachment styles, it impacts everything from your relationship to family, work, friendships etc., including your relationship with yourself. I highly recommend Adam's program. There is so much to learn and Adam and Alyssa are so knowledgeable. I was at my breaking point prior to this program and I really do feel like this coaching saved our marriage and has helped me to become a better person.

I could not have anticipated the progress and growth I would experience as part of this program. I consider every aspect of the program beneficial, but of particular benefit are the one-on-one bi-weekly coaching sessions with Jeremy and the weekly women's group hosted by Alyssa. The fundamentals Adam covers in the two large group calls he hosts each week are... so crucial. I began the program with a highly anxious attachment style, and I felt emotionally dysregulated on a daily basis. This program taught me to value myself the way I've always valued others. Adam, Alyssa, and Jeremy are giving me the tools I need to become a person who doesn't hang my entire self-esteem on how much I do for the people in my life. I feel that the direction of my life has been inexorably changed by this program, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to heal their attachment style.
