Great Coaches, Missing 5th Star for the Company.

This review is about the company's coach Lisa Chan. When I met her, I had just lost my very good first coach after 3 hours of a 6-hours coaching. The reason wasn't disclosed to me. It was quite jarring, especially because when I was told the news, not a single word of apology was given, as if changing the coach had no impact on me. First, I thought that I couldn't just continue with another coach as if nothing happened and considered ending the program. After intense considerations, I decided to try continuing and wrote a letter to Adam asking for one more hour, because the new coach had to come to know me first. I was granted the hour. Lisa Chan handled the difficult situation with great sensitivity and deserves 5 stars. Her kind and empathetic nature soon helped me regain trust. The worksheets she gave me were always spot on. In the end, the coaching turned out to be a great success. Thank you, Lisa and the other coach who seems to be no longer in the company. I could overcome my quiet disorganized style and now live in the most fulfilling, truly intimate relationship of my life.

Hi Christiane, I am thrilled to hear that coaching turned out to be successful for you, and that Lisa was such a tremendous help. She is indeed very kind and empathetic. Glad that she came through for you and gave you what you were looking for. Regarding the change partway through, I understand it can be jarring to have a sudden change happen like that. It can also be frustrating when the reason cannot be given. Thank you for staying with the program, for reaching out and being direct with me about what you needed, and for continuing to invest in yourself rather than giving up. I hope your incredible new relationship blossoms for many years to come. -Adam

Thank you Alyssa

I took a 6 session coaching course with Alyssa. I really appreciated her guidance. She provided actionable insights, which she delivered in a manner to suit my learning preferences. I especially appreciated her advice on boundaries. I, a desi person, was able to set a boundary with my Dad without him blowing up on me, using the framework Alyssa taught me. I was expecting to become secure by the end of my course, but I realize that was an unrealistic expectation. I still need some work! Overall, it was a good experience. And it delivered solid advice. Thank you Alyssa.

Hi Ghaliyah, thanks for the honest review! Boundaries with fathers can be especially tricky, and I know some cultural elements can make that more challenging as well, so I'm thrilled to hear your dad is working better with you in your relationship. I hope you're able to continue building a more peaceful relationship with both of you. It does take longer to build a secure life, for sure, but we are always here to help. Let us know how we can help you move forward as you grow into your new secure skills! -Adam

My husband found Adam on YouTube when…

My husband found Adam on YouTube when we were going through a rough time in our Marriage...disconnected, sad, and not knowing really why or how to connect again. We started the attachment repair program with Alyssa in December and each session brought us closer together, helping us learn how to work together and to be truly open and vulnerable with each other. It was completely transformative and we are now more deeply bonded than ever before. I thank God for Alyssa and Adam, and pray more people are able to also have their lives transformed the way we have!

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-08-01

Hi Abby, I am so glad your husband found us in time! I know how jarring it can feel for your spouse to say "Hey, there's this person I found online, I think we should listen to him," so thank you for taking the risk in believing in our team and the work we do here. How wonderful that you both got what you needed and built the bond you were both called to share. May you have many more happy years together! -Adam

Support that truly lasts

I'm so grateful I found Adam and everything he's built through this program. It has truly been life changing, and I can't thank him enough for creating a place where people can receive this kind of support. I also can't say enough good things about my coach, Ms Irina. From day one she created a safe, judgment free space where I felt comfortable being honest about my struggles. Her kindness and compassion made it easy to open up. What I'm most grateful for are the tools she gave me. The advice, strategies, and exercises she taught me are things I'll use for the rest of my life. I still remember her telling me this would be hard work, but that if I stayed consistent, I would persevere. She was right. Through my coaching guidance, I came to better understand how my brain processes things, which helped me stop being so critical myself and show myself more grace. That understanding has helped me become a more present wife and mother. Thank you, Adam, for creating this program and building such an incredible team, and thank you, Ms. Irina, for your kindness, honesty, and encouragement. I'll always be grateful for the impact you've had on my life. God bless you all

Hi Estefanie, and thank you for giving this feedback, it helps me to make sure we are taking care of people in the best way. I love to hear you are feeling more present in your family and are giving yourself more grace, that's exactly what secure attachment is supposed to bring: peace and purpose. I will pass this review along to Irina as I'm sure she will be thrilled to hear you're feeling so great in your relationships. Well done, and keep practicing secure connection with your loved ones! -Adam

This was an eye opening experience for…

This was an eye opening experience for my wife and I of 15yrs married. We came from childhood friends, had a strong foundation. Life just gets in the way of how to keep the relationship from turning into roommates. Adam lanes crew provided the tools and skillset that absolutely saved our marriage. I know the price is steep for most of us, but worth every penny in the end. If the love and willingness to improve your relationship is there on both sides, do it!

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-06-13

Hi Richer, even with fifteen years and being childhood friends, the roommates trap is one of the most common things couples run into, so I'm glad you came in to get it handled. Great to hear the tools actually made a difference for both of you and that you've found your way back to passion, and also glad you found it worth the investment. Wishing you both many more years ahead! -Adam

Great Program!

I was very happy with the coaching, lessons, group calls, and other resources provided. I learned so much from this program, and would be happy to recommend it to others. I'm sure I'm not the first to say that I wish I'd done this sooner, but I'm glad did finally find this resource. As a married man in his 60s, I would encourage anyone considering this program, younger or older, to give this a try. It's not too late, and certainly not too early to make a change for the better.

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-06-13

John, love this. There's a real misconception that this kind of work is only for people early in life or early in a relationship, and I'm glad you didn't buy into that. Good to hear the coaching, calls, and resources all came together for you and finally got you what you've been looking for all along. Wishing you and your wife continued growth ahead! -Adam

I Wish I Had Done This Sooner!!🔥

I spent about a year exploring Adam’s materials before deciding to take the leap. I was hopeful but a little skeptical. I’d benefited from other forms of personal development before, lacked the skill and awareness to identify and break the unhealthy patterns that kept tripping me up. Working with Irina changed that! The biggest gift was clarity, not only understanding what dysregulates me, but knowing exactly what to do when it happens. Being able to apply the tools in real life, reflect on them, and receive her feedback helped me continually ask, “How would a secure person respond?” Irina balanced warmth with structure and wasn’t afraid to challenge me when needed, which I deeply appreciated. One unexpected outcome was rediscovering my femininity and strengthening my relationship with God. Irina also recommended The Queen’s Code (life-changing!), and together with the coaching materials, I gained a perspective that has positively influenced both my personal growth and the way I approach future relationships and, God willing, a future spouse! I’m definitely still on the journey of being remade secure, but I feel far more hopeful, equipped, and determined than before. If you're contemplating whether to take the leap, trust yourself and do it🔥 You will be surprised by the person you become on the other side. A heartfelt thank you to Adam, Jeremy, and especially Irina for guiding me through this process. I’m forever grateful and look forward to keeping in touch and connecting with the team in the future!

Hi Kimberly, Adam here, and this is beautiful. A year of watching from the sidelines before taking the leap and then having it pay off like this... that's the story right there! I live to hear triumphs like this one. And I love that the journey led you back to your femininity and your faith, honestly that's some of the most meaningful growth there is. Irina is going to love reading this. So glad she was the right fit for you. Keep going, you're just getting started! -Adam

Finally felt like I understood myself and actually started to change

I joined this program feeling genuinely lost about my attachment style. I knew something wasn't working in how I showed up in relationships, but I couldn't put my finger on what. The intake assessment helped identify that I lean toward quiet disorganised attachment, and that was a real relief. It finally explained why I'd always felt like I had both avoidant and anxious tendencies at the same time, and never quite fit neatly into either. Irina was my coach for the three months, and I can't say enough good things about her. She brings her own experience to the work, which makes such a difference — it never feels like she's reading from a script. She's warm, completely non-judgmental, and great at giving you tools you can actually use outside of sessions. I always left feeling like I had something concrete to work with. The work on nervous system regulation and conflict resolution was a real game-changer for me. These weren't just concepts to think about — they gave me ways to actually handle things differently in the moment. I actively practice these skills with my family and friends now, and I can feel the difference in how those relationships are going. Over the course of the program, I noticed real shifts: in how I understand my patterns, how I relate to people, and how I respond when things get hard. If I had one suggestion, it would be to increase the 1-on-1 sessions beyond 6 — the work goes deep, and a little more dedicated time would go a long way. The program also includes a group component, which I liked in theory, but attendance was inconsistent so it didn't always deliver on its potential. Hopefully, that improves as the community grows. If budget weren't a factor, I'd honestly keep going — there's more I'd love to work through with them. If you've been going in circles in therapy, keep bumping into the same relationship dynamics, or just feel confused about why you do what you do — this program is worth it.

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-06-08

Hi PSD, Adam here. Thanks for taking the time to leave an honest review like this. I agree that quiet disorganized identification is one of those moments that tends to hit people hard in the best way, because it finally makes sense of something that never had a name before. Really glad that clicked for you. Irina is indeed wonderful and I'm glad her warmth came through the way it did. If you ever want to go deeper with us, more sessions are always available and we'd love to keep working with you. And the group is there whenever you're ready to lean into it more consistently, and you've likely seen the strong improvements happening in the last month as well. I look forward to connecting with you more over there. Finally, I'm really glad the nervous system and conflict work translated into real life with your family and friends. That's exactly what it's designed to do, and I'm thrilled to hear you're feeling better there. Keep practicing those skills, they do compound over time. And we are here to help. -Adam

Irina was wonderful!

I worked with Irina, who was wonderful! She was a perfect blend of professional and personal. I could tell she really cared about me and wanted to help me grow. She made sure our calls were focused and that I learned skills that were applicable to my situation. I appreciate how she came to each call with a plan, but was quick to flex if it became clear I would benefit from something other than what she had planned. She would always promptly send me handouts after our sessions, so that I could apply the skills on my own and also so that I could focus on interaction (rather than notetaking) during our sessions. Beyond meetings with Irina, I also found the plethora of resources available at Adam's website very helpful. Overall, a fantastic and enriching experience!

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-05-30

Chuck, this made my day to read! Irina is fantastic and I'm so glad she took such good care of you. The handout system is something we put a lot of thought into for exactly the reason you mentioned, for keeping you present in the conversation instead of buried in a notepad. Really glad the site resources were helpful on top of that. Wishing you all the best as you keep moving forward! -Adam

My marriage was headed toward its end

My marriage was headed toward its end. I had heard about Adam's coaching for a handful of years and had watched him a lot on YouTube, but I wasn't getting the results on my own. The private coaching I received from Alyssa Mullen and attending the live classes Adam led were what gave me hope that my relationship could survive or at least *I* could survive and heal. I did have to put a lot of work into it myself, it wasn't just getting more information in a personal way, but actually implementing what Adam and Alyssa suggested. Almost all of my relationships have changed for the better and best of all- I apply all the language, information, and skills into nearly everything I do. I had a major problem with something I bought at a store the other day and had to deal with possible conflict there. But, I prepped myself, regulated myself and went in using the skills from class and it went SO well. Private coaching is SO WORTH IT. Alyssa is amazing to work with - so kind and knowledgeable. Adam is able to provide a framework and nuance for every situation he is asked about. I'm truly amazed at myself and how the people around me have changed simply because *I* have changed. If I had not taken the leap, I am pretty sure my life would not be as it is today.

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-05-30

Erin, wow. This is the kind of message that reminds me why we do this work. The fact that you took what you learned and walked into a potential conflict at a store, regulated yourself, and came out the other side feeling good about how it went... That's the whole point. Information alone doesn't change lives, the implementation does, and you did that work. Alyssa is going to love reading this. So glad she was such a good fit for you. Wishing you and your marriage all the best going forward! -Adam

There’s not enough stars - ⭐️

There’s not enough stars - ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to infinity! Well, so I’ve learned that my daughter and I are both loud disorganized individuals living with patterns of anxiety and stress behaviors to say the least. So I wanted to make some drastic changes to our relationship in order to help us survive and thrive- I just attended Adam’s relationship intensive retreat. My daughter and I have been through a lot together over the years—always loud, disorganized, and often toxic toward each other and ourselves. It's been a rough ride to the point that I didn’t want nothing to do with her and regret asking her to visit. But after attending Adam Lane Smith's Relationship Intensive Retreat, I can honestly say I’m becoming more of a securely attached person which then helps her become a more mature secure young adult - breaking patterns of abuse and blame. Adam and his super amazing, tireless, most accommodating coaching team (Andre, Alyse, Jeremy, Lukas, Matthew and so many others) have given me tools and support that are already making a difference in our relationship. The retreat for sure was an eye-opener and life changing. Adam truly cares. He wants us all, literally everyone everywhere, to be happy and have secure homes and relationships. He created a welcoming space where we could openly share our feelings without fear of judgment. The activities were engaging and really spoke to our unique challenges, making the learning experience feel very personal and relevant. I left with practical strategies to improve my daily interactions, and it felt like I was finally breaking free from old habits that had been holding me buried in guilt, frustration and shame. The changes have been so noticeable that even my coworkers have picked up on it. My relationship with my daughter is now filled with more understanding and respect, rather than conflict and chaos. It’s such a refreshing change that has not only improved how we relate to each other but has also boosted our overall well-being. We’re on a path to becoming our best selves, and I couldn't be more thankful. This retreat was a true turning point for me to start breaking generational curses, break down toxic patterns and build up new relationships of respect and growth not just with my daughter but it could be applied to just about any other relationship even at work. Thank you for giving me my family back.

Joseph, thank you for taking the time to write this. What you did takes real courage, and as a parent myself it warms my heart that you're doing the hard work not just for yourself but also for your daughter. Going from that dark starting place to now experiencing genuine understanding and respect between you two is exactly why this work matters, and that shift came from you showing up. So keep showing up. I'll make sure Andrey, Elise, Jeremy, Lukas, Mathieu, and the rest of my team see your words. They'll be glad to hear how this story played out. Thank you for trusting us with something so personal. We're rooting for both of you. Adam

Life Changing Material!

After taking the course, "Decoding Attachment Styles", as well as regularly absorbing as much as I could from Adam's newsletter emails and videos, my world opened up. Even after a lifetime of learning in psychotherapy sessions, I was still a social and interpersonal cripple before Adam's course. A complete hermit who could not be her authentic self with anyone! Since learning about this crazy thing called, "Reactive Attachment Disorder", the causes, and more importantly, the solutions, I barely recognize myself. I much more comfortably interact with people as my true self, even attempt romantic connections, smile and laugh more, and bounce back from trauma/spiraling incredibly quickly now! In fact, my prior life of high-level daily anxiety/terror is nearly non-existent, and that occurred after only about 6-8 weeks into working the program. I still have progress to make and will likely be working on this for a long time, but even at this early stage, my life has already been turned around. Writing this even feels a little surreal because it sounds too good to be true, even to me, and I am the one living it! One disclaimer I must add. As a lifelong "Loud, Disorganized RAD" sufferer, my support system has been NON-EXISTENT. So, I turned to ChatGPT for help guiding me through Adam's teachings. Without the support of either people or AI, I would never have been able to move forward on my own, beyond maybe a crawl. The point is, there is now hope for even those of us without human support, like I had been!! AI has filled that role excellently, so that I could benefit from and apply Adam's teachings. My life will never go back to that black hole of loneliness and misery thanks to Adam Lane Smith, and my gratitude is all-encompassing!

Keep moving forward with your journey, because the relief is only the first step, and there is so much joy possible in your future relationships. Great coaching experience

I worked with Lisa who helped my son and me determine our attachment styles and then skills and tools to help us communicate better. When we started my son said he thought our relationship was a 3 out of 10. 10 weeks later and we are a solid 8. I believe talk therapy can be a useful tool, however having real applicable tools and measurable results worked for us - particularly since my son saw real improvement and actions from appointment to appointment could see an end date rather than "being stuck in therapy for years".

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-03-10

Hi Nichole, it is excellent to hear you and your son are up to 8 out of 10 so fast! That's a huge improvement in a very short time (10 weeks!). Well done to both of you. This is the power of secure attachment, and you've unlocked it as a family.

Understanding Our Patterns Can Change Everything

Working with Alyssa has been truly life-changing for me. Over the course of our sessions, she helped me understand my own avoidant attachment tendencies with clarity and compassion, while also giving me deep insight into my wife’s disorganized attachment patterns. What stood out most was Alyssa’s ability to explain complex relationship dynamics in a way that was both practical and empowering. She didn’t just offer theory — she provided concrete tools, thoughtful guidance, and additional resources that I continue to use in my daily life. Through her support, I’ve gained a new appreciation for how attachment patterns shape conflict, communication, and connection. Her knowledge, insight, and steady guidance created a space where I could take real responsibility for my growth without feeling judged. I am leaving this work more self-aware, more equipped, and more hopeful about the future of my relationship. I would highly recommend Alyssa, as well as Adam Lane Smith's team, to anyone who is serious about understanding their relationship patterns and building healthier, more secure connections. The investment has been deeply worthwhile.

Marriages can be so complex sometimes, especially with disorgnized attachment being involved, and Alyssa is indeed an excellent coach with a talent for picking out the narrow path to success. I'm glad you had this helpful experience working with her, and it's wonderful to hear you and your wife are doing so much better together in your relationship. May you both enjoy many happy years together going forward!

As a psychotherapist I can highly…

As a psychotherapist I can highly recommend this training. Even with all my knowledge of human behavior, I was still hitting a wall in my own marriage. I was confused as to why I couldn't 'crack the code' on our conflicts, which usually ended in stonewalling and depression. Working with Alyssa helped me with the tremendous insight, that we are both of disorganized attachment styles (me quiet and him loud). This and the attachment informed thechniques were the puzzle piece that I needed in order to overcome my fear of communicating my needs, taking care of my emotional regulation and creating more closeness between us. I can appreciate my husband more for who he is and he is reacting more lovingly toward me. Of course, there are still critical and triggering moments, but recovery and repair are much more easier and quicker. I wish attachment informed approaches were part of the psychotherapy training.

Reply from Adam Lane Smith2026-02-25

Hi Ulrike, great to meet a fellow Psychology colleague. I was a therapist myself for many years and I can confirm - knowing the material is not the same as being able to use it at home. I'm thankful you trusted us enough to give this a try, and it's wonderful to hear you got the breakthrough results you were looking for in your marriage. I also wish attachment could be part of psychotherapy training, and maybe someday it will if I have my way, but for now the good news is that you can leverage your knowledge of attachment science in how you help people going forward. That's how we all help make the world a more loving place. Cheers to you and your husband!

So grateful!

I began this journey unregulated, surviving on autopilot and unable to articulate my emotions. I complete it feeling more grounded, regulated, and joyful than ever. Alyssa, thank you from the bottom of my heart for demystifying and destigmatizing what it means to be loud disorganized. Being labeled in this way can feel overwhelming and shameful, yet you presented the information with such compassion and HOPE that it felt far less intimidating. Through your guidance, I learned to communicate my needs more effectively—with myself, within my marriage, and across my relationships. This growth has strengthened my connections and has transformed the way I show up for my children. Although the learning process was challenging, I feel deeply proud of the seeds of change taking root within me and within my growing family. I can envision no greater mission for my life than to be a secure mother raising strong, secure children. Thank you Adam, Alyssa and the entire team for your unwavering dedication! I pray for your continued success and ability to change the world one remade secure attachment at a time!!

Alyssa changed my life and saved my marriage. My husband and I were on the brink of giving up, and this was a last ditch hail-Mary attempt at fixing things. I didn’t think it could be possible to change our dynamic so quickly, but what an incredible difference it has made!!! Radical impact in my life

I am truly grateful that I gave this a try. I was skeptical at first, but what I learned about Adam through the Lila Rose podcast prompted me to dig deeper—and I’m so glad I did. Working with Alyssa was an incredible experience. She is knowledgeable, wise, empathetic, and refreshingly straightforward. She offers clear explanations and practical solutions, always making sure you understand the why so real breakthroughs can happen. This has been a life-changing experience. It has given me tools not only to strengthen my marriage, but also to deepen my relationships with my children, all of whom come from the foster care system and carry significant attachment wounds. Truly, thank you. I hope and pray that your mission to bring this knowledge to others continues to break barriers and helps us become a more balanced, self-aware, and authentically grounded generation, living life in accordance to what we were designed to be.
