Checking the Stats of the Year with Dave Leek

Working with Dave Leek and the Ad Outreach clinics has helped our YouTube channel gain 4,775 new subscribers, and over 4 million organic impressions in one year. Dave has been essential in developing a winning high level strategy while also sharing valuable know how in the video production process, which saves me production time. His first hand organic content creation experience is clear, and his insights and decision making process has been a wonderful positive influence. I am grateful for this experience, and his mentorship.

The sales coaching has been professional, clear, and truly helpful.

The sales coaching has been a great experience for me as a New Patient Sales professional. It is clear, motivating, and immediately actionable. They've helped me understand how to communicate value and handle objections with confidence. Truly valuable training!

A painful mismatch in expectations…I truly wish my experience had matched all the positive reviews

I’ve never written a negative review for a services company in my entire life, and I have a genuinely heavy heart writing this one. I can see that AdOutreach has many positive reviews and many clients who seem to have great experiences. I’m happy that’s true for them. But my own experience turned out very different, and I want to share it honestly, so others go in with clear expectations. I invested roughly $10,000 over about three months because I believed I was buying a done-for-you program with strong strategic guidance — including a promised 1-on-1 strategy call with Aleric as a fast-action bonus. I was launching YouTube ads for the first time, filled with fear and trepidation, and I really trusted that AdOutreach — and Aleric in particular — would guide me through the process. Unfortunately, that 1-on-1 call never happened, despite several attempts to request it. That alone was deeply disappointing, because it was a major reason I enrolled quickly. My biggest challenge was the gap between what I thought I was buying (done-for-you) and what I actually experienced (done-by-me with coaching). Had I known this upfront, I truly believe none of this would have happened. Here’s what I personally experienced: 1. Much of the course content felt outdated. A lot of the “click here / click there” instructions didn’t match today’s Google Ads or Tag Manager interfaces. I often ended up turning to Google’s own support or YouTube videos for more accurate guidance. 2. The support model left me stuck for days at a time. Whenever I needed help, I had to book a coaching call that was usually 3–4 days away. I’d sit stuck, unable to move forward, or spend hours trying to teach myself things I thought the program would handle for me. 3. The “Done For You” components didn’t feel done for me at all. The video editing portion was extremely disappointing. They assigned my project to what appeared to be a junior editor, and later even outsourced another editor through Upwork, who also seemed inexperienced. The B-roll they delivered included irrelevant footage — for example, a clip of someone buying painkillers at a pharmacy to illustrate “business pain”… even though my company does B2B messaging and not consumer health. The edits were so off-base that I eventually went elsewhere and paid out of pocket for replacement video editing. Communication felt layered and fragmented: my notes had to pass through multiple people before reaching the editor. It was slow, messy, and kept producing unusable results. 4. The GoHighLevel platform situation felt misleading. I was led to believe I would be able to use the platform for around $1/month going forward. What I didn’t understand was that the only reason it was $1 was because it was included under their agency umbrella — and only if I continued paying several thousand dollars per month. When I stopped their monthly service, the GoHighLevel fee jumped to ~$297/month. I ended up ripping everything out and rebuilding my funnel under a different agency’s GoHighLevel account at a tiny fraction of that price. That added a huge amount of work and frustration I never expected. 5. The entire experience felt like being put into a large, scaled machine. This is hard to explain, but instead of feeling guided, it felt like I had been dropped into a factory system that was optimized for volume — not for personal support. I don’t doubt that Aleric has genuine expertise, but I never felt that expertise touch my project. And that was heartbreaking, because I truly wanted to learn from him. How it felt overall: I don’t believe anyone at AdOutreach intends harm. Everyone I interacted with was polite and well-meaning. But I walked away feeling let down, confused, and honestly heartbroken. I put so much trust and hope into this experience, and instead I felt left to fend for myself. Maybe I simply bought the wrong program for my needs. But based on how it was presented to me — especially the done-for-you positioning and the promised strategy call — I walked away feeling bruised financially and emotionally. I’m sharing all of this not to attack AdOutreach, but because I wish someone had written a review like this before I signed up. I think this program may be a good fit for people who want a do-it-yourself model with coaching. But if you’re expecting something closer to “we do this for you,” I strongly recommend asking very direct questions upfront. I truly wish my outcome had matched the glowing reviews. I wanted it to. Honestly, I still feel sad about how it all turned out.

Hi Greg, We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations - especially given how committed our team was to supporting you throughout your journey with us. Between June 27 and September 15, you had a total of 22 Zoom calls with our team - more than any other client during that time. That includes: -Weekly check-in calls with your dedicated Client Services Manager -1:1 coaching with our ads and tech specialists -Hands-on troubleshooting and custom setup support (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Zapier integrations, domain setup, Mailchimp sync, conversion tracking, and more) Even before you officially enrolled as a client, we provided you with a 1:1 Ad Strategy call with our Senior Ads Coach to help you reactivate an inactive Google Ads account (so you could continue advertising on Google despite the suspension on your primary Google Ads account). We also scheduled bonus calls outside normal business hours when needed, fast-tracked deliverables at your request, and created a standing weekly call to ensure you always had a clear path forward. When you flagged concerns about the initial video ad, we took that seriously. Our team incorporated your feedback and also hired (and paid) a third-party editor to create a custom version that matched your vision. Those revisions went above our standard scope, but we made them because we genuinely wanted you to be proud of the creative and move into launch with confidence. As for your ads and funnel launch: we worked with you closely through that process, including the setup of a brand-new offer and cold traffic funnel. After your MVP campaign launched, we continued supporting you through optimization - helping reduce your CPL, improve opt-in rates, and guide next steps like A/B testing headlines and refining the form fields on your page. When we identified conversion bottlenecks, we were transparent about it and helped you take clear action. Regarding the Fast Action Bonus strategy call with Aleric - this wasn’t something we were withholding. Our team was working to get your funnel and ads live first, so that call could deliver the most value. We regret that we didn’t reach that milestone before you requested to exit the program. Regarding CoPilot access (our white-labeled version of GoHighLevel): we provided access during your active engagement at the $1/month client rate, as clearly outlined on the CoPilot sign-up page. This tool is optional, and it’s not marketed as a permanent standalone offer. After launch, ongoing access is available at our alumni rate of $297/month - which is very clearly disclosed at the time of sign-up for CoPilot. Greg, we sincerely regret that things didn’t land the way we intended. We wish you the very best in the next chapter of your business. ~ The AdOutreach Team

Sales guy asked for a $500 refundable deposit in exchange for a sample video script. Reasonable. After we decided to go elsewhere, the salesperson ghosted us and did not return the deposit. Ended up having to contest it with Amex. Strange way to build customer trust.

Hi Isaac, We’re truly sorry for the experience you had. Your refund should have been processed promptly, but unfortunately, the request was not relayed to our Operations team. The salesperson you worked with is no longer with our team and did not inform us of this prior to his departure. Once we became aware, we processed your refund immediately, and the receipt has been emailed to you. We understand how frustrating this was and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. This is not reflective of how we operate, and we’ve implemented additional internal safeguards to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Best Regards, The AdOutreach Team

would highly reccomend for any small business looking to use youtube ads to grow and scale

ad outreach helped me launch youtube ads from scratch start to finish in 2 months. as a local business i've been able to generate 40 leads and 6 consultations within the first 3 weeks of launch. their script writers, video editers, and their media buying team, specifically mauricio, hashim, and ahmad have been very amazing to work with. they helped me trouble shoot many problems and helped guide me through a very difficult system to learn (google ads manager) and helped me get set-up as a novice with little tech skills, and were very patient and supportive the entire time. i'd highly reccommend ad outreach for any small business looking to grow and scale with youtube ads, they helped me get launched and generating leads within 2 months and have a wonderful team of people to help you.

Fantastic program supported by a great…

Fantastic program supported by a great weekly Round Table live Zoom call hosted by Aleric, Dave Anderson and Dave Leek, all of whom add immense value. Direct access to a team like that where you get instant live feedback, coupled with solutions to issues in a weekly live zoom call, is priceless.

Thousands Spent, Months Of Trying, ZERO Qualified Leads or SALES

Great Team, Just Couldn't Find Our Fit I chose Ad Outreach based on trust built through years of knowing founder Aleric Heck in the same business ecosystem. That relationship history was the primary factor in my decision. THE INVESTMENT Over several months, our investment was substantial: Ad Outreach management fees: Thousands in done-for-you service costs YouTube ad spend: Thousands per month Total investment: Well over $25,000 combined Return on investment: $0 in attributable revenue. NOT FOR LACK OF EFFORT Here's what I want to be clear about: the team at Ad Outreach did everything in their power over the months we worked together to find our audience. They were responsive, willing to test new approaches, and genuinely invested in making this work. When they requested special videos, we produced them. When they wanted to test new approaches, we provided immediate access and implemented changes. They just couldn't get it dialed in for our specific business model. I know they have success with others—they just couldn't crack the code with us. THE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE We did experience some account manager turnover during our engagement. While our lead Media Buyer remained consistent and maintained strategic continuity, the transitions still required some re-explanation of context. This is worth noting, though it didn't prevent the team from delivering excellent service and effort. THE SECOND CHANCE A month ago, I decided to end our partnership. Dave Anderson from Ad Outreach reached out with a retention offer, expressing genuine belief they could turn things around and requesting 60 more days. I agreed, recognizing breakthrough moments sometimes happen after extended testing. They did make progress—achieving a 25% decrease in cost per lead with additional tests underway. However, after careful consideration at the 30-day mark of that extension, I decided the continued investment wasn't aligned with our current business priorities. WHAT I'D DO DIFFERENTLY Some responsibility lies with me for not asking targeted questions during vetting. Critical questions I'd ask any agency: Have you worked directly with businesses in my specific industry? How many clients and what were their verified results? Can you provide detailed case studies? Performance Expectations: What are realistic timelines for initial results? What's your process when campaigns underperform? FINAL ASSESSMENT Ad Outreach is a capable agency with a dedicated team that genuinely cares about client success. They worked tirelessly to find the right approach for our business. Sometimes, despite everyone's best efforts, an agency-client fit just doesn't materialize—and that's what happened here. This reinforced an important lesson: not every capable agency matches every business model, regardless of effort invested on both sides. For potential clients: Do thorough due diligence around their direct experience with your industry and business model. Ask for specific case studies and establish clear performance milestones. If your business aligns with their proven success areas, you'll likely have a very different (and positive) experience than we did. Would I recommend Ad Outreach? Yes, with the caveat that you should verify their specific experience with your business type during vetting. They're a hardworking team that delivers results for many clients—we just weren't the right fit.

Hi Ken, We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate the time you took to share your feedback. From our side, we’re proud of the level of service, strategy, and collaboration that our team brought throughout the partnership. We truly valued the trust you placed in us and worked hard to match that with care, speed, and execution. While there were a couple of small changes within our team, your lead Media Buyer remained your consistent strategic partner from start to finish. He carried the full context of the account and guided all testing and optimization efforts throughout the entire engagement. At no point did transitions impact continuity, strategy, or execution. As part of the 60-day extension we agreed to, we were still actively optimizing your campaign. In fact, we had already seen a 25% decrease in cost per lead, with additional creative and funnel tests underway. We were under the impression that there was still time remaining in that extension, and we believed there was strong potential to keep improving. We understand your decision to step away, and we continue to wish you all the best. If you ever want to revisit the conversation, we’re here to support you and your team. – The AdOutreach Team

Best decisions ever!

It's been great working with the entire team at Ad Outreach. Dave Leek has been phenomenal with my YouTube Channel growth. Dave Anderson has been helping a lot on the Mindset front. I've had very inspiring conversations that got me through difficult times. Both Hasheem and Mauricio are ad experts I've learned so much from. Aaron's support on the sales front has helped me a lot with my sales processes. It's the full package and I feel very well supported with my business needs. I highly recommend Ad Outreach!

Incredible Team. Incredible Company.

Every single person I have met at AdOutreach has gone above and beyond to help me and my team. We have seen incredible growth in our Google, Pinterest, and Bing ads due to their help, as well as other great business coaching that we didn't realize we needed! All around incredible team and incredible investment.

Waste of time and money do not recomment

Had a terrible experience with this service. They promised a lot and under delivered. I was being charged monthly for a 'done for you' when no one on their end was even logging into our Youtube ad account. They try and fit everyone into a structure but don't customize it even when they say they do. And just blame you and say 'results may vary' when their structure doesn't work on an already selling and scaling product. A lot of hype and no delivery. Incredible waste of time and money.

We’re really sorry to hear this was your experience. At AdOutreach, we take pride in providing clear communication, thoughtful strategy, and genuine support to every client we work with. After reviewing your account, it appears you were enrolled in our done-with-you coaching and consulting program, not our done-for-you ads management service. As such, there was no obligation or expectation that our team would be logging into your YouTube Ads account on an ongoing basis unless we were on a scheduled strategy or support call with you or a member of your team. Our role in this program is to provide high-level strategic guidance, platform best practices, and expert recommendations so that you and your team can implement effectively. Throughout our time working together, we offered insights tailored to your offer and funnel, while also sharing proven strategies that tend to perform best on YouTube. We understand how frustrating it can be when momentum doesn’t build as quickly as hoped, especially when an offer is performing well organically. That said, since this was the first time the offer was being introduced to paid traffic, there can often be an adjustment period as the ad strategy is optimized and aligned with the expectations of cold audiences. We’re here to support you, and we’re open and available to reconnect and explore the best next steps to help you succeed moving forward. – The AdOutreach Team

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing team and amazing training

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AdOutreach has been a complete game-changer for me. The trainings are laid out in such a clear, logical way that everything finally clicked into place. Instead of overcomplicating things, they break down exactly what to do and why it works, which made the whole process make so much sense. The team are AMAZING and so kind and helpful too. Even when things feel tough they are incredibly supportive and I couldn't recommend them more! Since implementing what I learnt, my ads have started performing way more profitably than before. I’m not just seeing more clicks, I’m seeing real ROI and consistent results. If you’ve been struggling to make ads work or want to finally understand how to run them the right way, I can’t recommend AdOutreach highly enough.

A great onboarding experience

I started with AdOutreach a few weeks ago and they have been outstanding and very supportive. I neglected to get the onboarding form filled out within the first week (I'm very busy) and Adam reached to me to nudge me to get it done. I now have my video sales letter script and video ad scripts back from the script writing team and they are awesome. Will be recording these soon and can't wait to get them implemented. 😊️
