Number one tool in editing
Aftershoot has indeed changed my workflow, gave me much more time and helped with the allroud photography editing routine. And I am not even using all the available features ( definitely should ;)
What I love about AS is the very helpful team at the customer service, these toppers are there any time and there is no stupid/strange of irritating question, they make you feel very welcome and make sure every issue is resolved.

Excellent editing and support. Culling is the weak link.
I subscribed to the annual plan and I have been using Aftershoot for several months now, across a lot of weddings. I waited before writing this because I wanted a real opinion rather than a first impression. A large part of the software depends on training, so it takes several rounds before the program starts to understand your style. I think I have given it enough time to judge it fairly.
Some context. I shoot weddings mainly, plus corporate and event work. I am exactly the kind of user this product is built for and I genuinely want it to work. If a tool can take that workload off me I will be first in line to pay for it.
The program is really several sub-products and my opinion on each one is quite different.
Culling. This is the part that disappoints me most and it is also the most important one. It is what the product leads with, and it is the stage where I actually lose time. In practice it is very unreliable on weddings. To be clear, I am not expecting the software to hand me a finished selection I can validate with one click without checking. Human review will always matter. But in my workflow the time saved compared to culling myself in Lightroom is around 5 to 10 percent. Not more. For a product sold on the promise of a huge time gain, that is a long way off. The reason is simple. Most of the time it does not pick the best frame. It does not understand where the emotion is or when it happens. Sharpness and closed eyes are not enough to judge whether an image is good.
And I do understand how hard this is. Editing is a far easier problem to solve than culling. One is a set of adjustments that can be learned from examples and applied consistently. The other asks the software to read a room, weigh one frame against the one taken half a second later and decide which moment actually matters. That is close to judgement and I do not underestimate it. But I am paying for a service that is sold on speed, so understanding the difficulty only takes me so far. Give me 30 to 40 percent over a manual cull and I would already be very happy. As it stands I still go through the take frame by frame, which is close to doing the job by hand.
Editing. I struggled at the start because I did not have enough images to train a proper profile. Support was outstanding here. They stayed with me from beginning to end and helped me configure a personalised AI profile so the result actually looks like my work. Ten out of ten on support, nothing to add, and I am grateful for how accommodating they were. Now that it is set up, the editing is very good. It is adaptive, it reads changes in light, and it delivers a consistent edit across an entire wedding. This part is a real time saver and I am fully satisfied with it.
Retouch. Added recently. It is nowhere near a dedicated tool like Evoto and the feature set is limited, but I think it was a smart addition and it is a real plus to have it inside the same program.
Export is the frustrating part. The export settings are close to non existent, so I have to go back through Lightroom anyway. That is a shame given that everything else happens in Aftershoot. I expect this will improve over time and I consider it secondary.
Gallery. Also good. It is pleasant to use and my couples have been happy with it so far. I do not have pricing yet so I cannot say whether it is worth it.
Three stars. The rating comes almost entirely from the culling, because that is where I spend the most time on a wedding and that is exactly where I need the gain. As it stands the program delivers on half of what it promises. The editing side and the support are excellent and I will keep using it, but the core promise is not there yet. I would happily revise this review upward if culling improves.

Aftershoot has changed my life. I am not saying this to be nice, but to be honest. Tasks that used to take me hours and a lot of mental energy are now completed in a fraction of the time. Excellent support and a workflow that saves me time

Aside from the product, which has been amazing, the customer service is top notch. In a world of AI and annoying chat boxes, when you reach out by email you're getting a human response that is quick, efficient, customer focused, and solution driven. This is unfortunately rare and is a gem to find.
The product - I use it for culling exclusively currently (although its always tempting to try the other services). I have decision fatigue hardcore when it comes to culling and I am so excited to say that having a culling system that gives me groups to choose from significantly reduces my time in this part of the process. Probably by half (and my time is up there for sure).
The process isn't seamless at first. it does take time to learn it and make it a flow. But it is well worth the effort in the end.
And who doesn't love a flat fee over a per image use option. Oye. It could be the best of all worlds as far as technology is concerned.

Customer Service and Results set it apart
Aftershoot is a very helpful tool for expediting processes that would otherwise take much longer, and the customer service is what sets it apart for us. Their price point is not as high as other companies who do the same thing, and constantly provide quick, real time help whenever needed. Any question or issue I have ever had has been resolved within minutes by a real person, as well as a real person initially giving us advice on how to train the program better to gat the results we wanted.

Fantastic tool—a few thoughts on pricing tiers and feature bugs
Aftershoot is overall fantastic, and has saved me a ton iof time being a professional photographer. My main criticism is the lack of flexible bundle options—it would be great to see better pricing for photographers who only need Select and Edit, without Retouching included.
Additionally, I’ve run into an issue with the Extreme culling option where it fails to generate Highlights, even when set to detect them.
