Stay far away. They bombard you with calls and texts as soon as you contact them. I went over my situation with them & they said they would take my case. I had some questions about how they could help and how much it would cost. His answers were either vague or he would try to redirect the conversation. When I said that I had to get off of the phone he tried to pressure me into signing a power of attorney and making a payment. Finally I had to firmly say no and hang up the phone . After that the texts and calls were constant. The person handling the case actually texted me, "Why don't you want to better yourself". People who have good intentions don't harass and shame people.
I was with Jonathan on the phone for almost an hour. I felt immediate relief from the tax burden imposed by the IRS.
I had a previous conversation with Emily and it was such a pleasure and joy to talk to her as well.
Definitely a 5 star company and I recommend their services to anyone struggling with taxes.

I can not say enough about Gabrielle Martinez. she made working with Alleviate tax a great experience. she was very informative and if anything needed to be done with my specific case she was on the ball all the time. She was very cooperative and courteous and very compassionate to my situation which made me feel alot more comfortable. She has assured me the the specialized team for an offer in compromise is very good and i trust her opinion.
This company charges you an initial fee of $495, "phase 1", to do absolutely nothing you couldn't do yourself in 5 min. All they do is pull your transcripts from the IRS website, something anyone can easily do for FREE. They then will have a CPA "evaluate" your tax needs. Most CPA's offer a free consultation, so again no benefit for the $495 you just paid. Once the CPA reviews your account you will get hit with another fee to prepare the taxes. The fees start going up from there. $2000-$6000 average. Save your money and deal with the IRS directly, or hire a local CPA. They have a whole sales team that are not accountants, or CPA's ready to promise you the world. They will tell you anything to take your money and then underperform once they have it. They charge 4-5x more than a local CPA that can do exactly the same work for you, or you could do yourself for free. They are simply preying on your fear of the IRS to hustle you out of money you obviously don't have, or you wouldn't owe the IRS.
So far, so good. We spoke with Jeff Erickson. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. My husband and I are looking forward to working with Alleviate Tax.

This company is a scare tactic joke. Months past I told them I did not need their services random people would contact me and try to act like they were the sole savior to any tax issue you may be resolving. It was almost funny until it wasn’t. They will harass you until you fork over money, then they will try to shame you. Stay FAR FAR away from ALLEVIATE TAX. They are a money seeking joke. DO NOT TRUST THEM, SCAM.
