I’ve ordered several plants from them 2 different times and both times they’ve arrived in great shape. They were packaged great and looked phenomenal. So far the plants are doing well.
One Month to deliver with dead snails.
I ordered live plants and live snails on 05/10/2026. The order was packed and labeled on 05/14/2026, but it appears the package was either misplaced or not handed over to USPS until 06/05/2026—nearly three weeks later. The package was finally delivered on 06/08/2026. Unfortunately, all of the snails arrived dead and emitted a very strong odor upon opening the package, which is consistent with prolonged transit or improper handling. Fortunately, the plants appear to have survived and are in reasonably good condition.

Messed up order
I placed an order, and a few days later got an email that my order was shipped. A couple of days later their website showed the order was "fulfilled". I contacted them only to be told they hadn't even worked the order yet. I ordered some plants and 9 snails which I consider to be live animals. Their website says they only ship live animals on Mon,Tues, and Wed. They say this is so the animals don't get stuck in shipment over the weekend. So I get an email from UPS that they finally received the package at 403pm on Thursday. I paid 30 bucks for 2 day delivery. Since it was delivered so late and it's a holiday weekend they won't deliver my package until Tuesday the following week. My 2 day delivery is now a 5 day delivery. When I spoke to Aquaticmotiv, they told me to wait and see what happens. I think they should refund my shipping fee. They don't think so. This company does not care about customer service. I highly recommend shopping elsewhere. Ord 23577

In our conversation, our team explained in detail that we got a little backed up due to Mother's Day but we always work hard to clear any backlog as soon as possible. Your order was shipped in the UPS 2nd Day Air service you requested and dropped off on Wednesday for Friday arrival. Unfortunately, UPS delayed your order by a day and ended up getting stuck at a UPS facility over the weekend. Although we have no control over UPS handling and delivery times, we always have your back if you have issues upon arrival. In our emails, we mentioned that the only thing we could do now was wait for the arrival but if there were any issues, you would be covered. Since it has been 9 days since your order arrived and there has been no follow up from you, we believe that the order arrived safely. Thank you.
Replacements sent for DOA snails
Ordered 6 horned nerite snails. 4 arrived DOA but they kindly sent replacements for all 6 (one of which also was DOA).

TL;DR: Will order again!
TL;DR: Will order again! I ordered 2 racer nerite snails in late-ish March and missed the memo that I should order a heatpack for shipping. I waited about a week, then sent an email to the sales email saying I would purchase a heatpack to get the shipment going. I didn't get a response, but all of a sudden had a notification that a label had been created and the package had been accepted at the post office. I checked the tracking everyday and nothing changed. After a couple weeks, assuming my snails were lost in the mail (and dead), I was in an area where I could get snails at a pet store and picked up 3 zebra nerites. That was on a Monday. By Friday, I had a notification that my snails were at my PO box. Assuming DOA, I procrastinated and apprehensively opened the racer nerites the next day. Lo and behold, both snails were in great shape and immediately began racing around the tank after acclimating, putting their fat zebra counterparts to shame. No idea if the hold up was really with USPS or if there was a glitch when the label was printed and AquaticMotiv was waiting for the right weather to ship, but either way, I will be ordering again!
Absolutely the best Aquarium plants
This was my first time using Aquatic Motiv and I was blown away. I have been getting mail order plants for years from what was considered the best out there and these guys put them to shame seriously totally blew me away in freezing temperatures. The plants arrive in pristine condition. they were professionally sealed impact the shipping was very fast and the owners are the nicest people to do business with. I would highly recommend them oh and to boot the prices were incredible.
Amazing top notch plants
I found Aquaticmotiv on Etsy when looking for plants on my first ever fish tank (aquascape). It’s a one stop shop with all the different selection of plants and supplies. They were super helpful and quick to reply with all my questions. I did place my order on their website and was lucky enough to be able to do a pick up as I’m not too far. They worked with me due to the frigid temps in our area. All the plants were beyond top notch, and in excellent condition. The price point was perfect. I highly recommend and will be ordering again!

offered me 50% off my next order which would be nice if I had recieved my first order of $100. Wanted me to spend another $50 because ups wont deliver fish to apartments. If I had known I couldn't get my plants and snails delivered to an apartment I would not of ordered. Id rather not spend $150 on 4 snails and some plants, thanks but no thanks. 0/10

Hello Madison. Thank you for the review. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. UPS did not leave the package at your door because you were not home to receive the live animals but they held it at your local UPS store for 3 days waiting for you to pick up. Since the package was never picked up in those 3 days, they sent it back to us. Due to the extensive transit times, the snails that arrived back to our facility had unfortunately perished. Although this was something we had no control over, we still offered to cover 50% of a replacement order. Thank you.
