The contractor, 2nd generation plumbing, was excellent. Also, a supervisor at AWR approved a repair that was borderline per coverage. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for all that’s been done. We had only one bathroom and a non-functioning toilet for four days with six people. The city also doing construction on our road and having to walk a half a block to our vehicle to drive somewhere to use the facilities was very inconvenient.

Plumbers arrived the same day I made the call regarding a suspected water main leak. They confirmed the leak, determined that the galvanized feed pipe from the water main had multiple holes and replaced it with a new flexible plastic pipe. The job required digging under a sidewalk and adjacent yard wall in 110F heat. The plumbers were polite, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. There was no charge for this three to four hour effort.

I was reporting my outside water leak to American Water Resources and while I was on the phone with them the plumber was calling. Put operator on hold, answered my call waiting and the informed me that the assigned plumber was headed my way. Got back to the previous operator and informed her that the plumber was headed my way.

We called to be in a repair and the company was great with speed and contacted us with a plumber that came out in 2 hrs to work in our issue. In 2 hrs job was fixed completed with Accuracy. Didn’t have yo wait in hrs plumbers were here snd finished in hrs. Our issue was handled quick and with no problems, the way a company should work for their customers. Very pleased and satisfied.

So far, in handling the one claim I've submitted, AWR system has registered more than one claim / entered in its records that I cancelled the claim when I never did / not disclosed the proposal for repair / claimed the proposal was rejected when it was not / and so on. Confused, inaccurate, contradictory records leading to nothing being done, so far.

I am extremely disappointed with this company and the quality of the contractors they recommend. I have been a customer for over three years and have only needed to use the service three times. Out of those experiences, only one contractor actually resolved the issue. The others either left the problem unresolved or misdiagnosed the issue entirely. What is most frustrating is that these are contractors approved and recommended by the company. When the contractor fails to fix the problem, the company does not stand behind its recommendation. Instead of sending another qualified provider, they tell you to deal directly with the original contractor. In my experience, the contractors often fail to return calls, follow up, or complete the work. As a retired family living on a fixed income, we pay for this service because we want peace of mind when unexpected home repairs arise. We should not have to pay for a home warranty and then hire an independent plumber because the company's vetted contractors cannot be trusted to do the job properly. I have recommended this company to many friends and family members over the years, but after these experiences, I can no longer do so with confidence. The lack of accountability and poor contractor oversight have completely eroded my trust in the service. Save your money and do your research before relying on this company for home repairs.
