I had questions before placing my order and they were quickly and thoroughly answered. Once my order was placed, it was sent out in the expected amount of time. The doors themselves are perfect. There are no flaws, they are sturdy, and are the exact measurements I requested. Price was better than anyone else as well. Truly a 5 star experience!
Just got the rest of the door fronts they all look very good. the customer had them sent to her address now have to wait for them to get painted.
I received my doors and they were very well built no flaws or anything ! It took a tad bit longer but they are probably busy like everyone else which wasn’t a problem. I did check on my doors and received an answer I believe the same day ! I will most definitely use this company again for cabinet doors!!
A 2-3 week shipping time turned into 6 weeks with rude responses and no attempt of compensation. There definitely shouldn’t be a quote time on the website AND email if it’s nowhere near that time.
Thanks for you feedback here Shea, but not sure where the “6 weeks” is coming from. Pulled up your order submitted on 1-22-24. This order shipped on 2-22-24. That is four weeks and three days, so about a week and a half behind the estimated schedule posted via our website that reads “about 3 weeks, plus shipping”. Thanks for understanding that the lead time was an estimate and understanding that demands for "compensation" are really not something we can offer for a week and a half delay. Apologies if the denial of you request for "compensation" was interpreted as rude. That was not our intent, as our intent was only clear and concise information conveyance. We wish you the best on future projects.

The choices and options seemed endless and the availability of the sizing made it possible for use to finish the project and add the custom touch we needed. The quality, price and efficient technical support of Barker cabinets is unparalleled. I was discouraged with the prospect of spending $20,000+ on new cabinets made of particle board until I found this company browsing the web. What a find! I watched their videos which are excellent. I hired a carpenter to do the measurements and submit the order, which arrived yesterday without a flaw and perfectly to measurement. Barker beautifully crafted and painted cabinets will replace all the old doors, drawers, panels and hardware in my kitchen for $6,500. They are able to keep these costs down in part by streamlining communication. I found that they responded usually within an hour after my carpenter or I texted a question, and they are certainly available to talk through an issue as needed. The shipment came when promised, and the freight delivery was great.
I ordered 2 types of doors, and they were beautifully and flawlessly made. They were well packaged. This is my first project of this sort, and I was nervous about not understanding the terminologies and get the measurement wrong. However, Utube tutorials and the guides from the website made it easy to understand. In the end, everything turns out beautiful. Thank you, Barker Doors!
I tried making drawers myself but they were not perfect so I found Barker Doors on line and the person I talked to was very helpful made the ordering east. When the drawers came in it took me 30 minutes to put together very easy and they looked great. I will definitely reorder from them if I need more drawers.
I placed the order before the Christmas holiday. Even with the holidays I received the drawers earlier than expected. They were easy to put together. Very sturdy, actual wood cut to the sizes I needed. I will order again as need arises in the future. Very happy with the product and how the company processes everything.
I found Barker to have subpar, self-entitled and smug customer service with zero regard for me as a customer. I would encourage folks to read through other negative reviews on this website and judge the company's customer service posture for themselves. In my case, I placed a cabinet front and drawer order in late October, and didn't receive it until late December. In my opinion, Barker provided very poor communication (with absolutely zero advanced notice of the delay) and took no responsibility whatsoever. Because of their delays, my installer won't be able to finish the work until 2024. My experience with Barker was highly disappointing, and I won't be doing business with them ever again.
Updated response: Happy to see this updated and now much shortened/“less colorful” review. To recap, we simply replied to the original review (promptly, calmly, and without emotion) bringing up key points (that were left out, for some reason) and explained that our company does not give in to emotional threatening/ultimatums that would result in a sub-par product quality and disruption to our production chain (line skipping). Please understand that this “review” does a good job exemplifying our mission statement which is to ship an awesome quality product at a good price, regardless of time frame. Review accepted, apologies for the delay in production time (a door had to be fixed as it did not pass QC, causing delay), but in the end, we shipped the order complete without sacrificing product quality and we’d do it again under the same circumstance. Original response: Apologies for any delay in producing your custom order which included 9 fully assembled and custom sized rollouts in addition to the finished drawer and door fronts mentioned. All together this was a rather large order that had to be shipped freight and as a single large shipment due to the sheer weight and volume of the contents. Admittedly, this order did take longer than then original estimate due to a door that did not pass our strict quality control checks pre-shipping/packaging, as was explained to you via email. Said door had to be remade and refinished in order to maintain the quality that we have promised, and you have come to expect from your past order/orders with Barker. This takes time and added to the delay. Overall, we are sorry to lose a customer but will continue to adamantly stand behind the quality of our product regardless of potential delays to the schedule. We wish you the best for future projects.
Ordered 13 Lanai raised panel doors on 11/22 and received, via fedex, on 12/23. Order was exactly to my specifications, doors were perfectly smooth and ready to finish. Appreciated the ease of their order entry.
We ordered new cabinets from Barker Cabinets and new cabinet doors and drawers, drawer facings, and hardware from Barker Door. Everything is very well-made, worth the wait and the price, and looks terrific! Also, we DIYed all of it by watching Chad's videos about how to measure to get your order right, etc. We ordered in 4 different groupings because we were doing one part of the kitchen at a time (it took us a whole year to do it all in our spare time). All the sets of doors have matched over time. In one shipment a door on the outermost part of the package got bent and cracked. I took photos to show them the bend and the cracks, and they thanked me for the photos and sent a replacement very quickly. Great company!
Yes I will revise my review despite your suggestion that I did not experience what I had originally posted. My order was for (2) unfinished cabinet doors with a 2 to 3 week delivery window or more. Why not just say when its done you'll get it regardless of your job site schedule. And even simpler instead of suggesting you even have a return policy just put at the top of your site " NO RETURNS or REFUNDS".
Update: Here it is! We have done it everyone! This is officially the dumbest review we've ever received. Great! Quality doors that look superb, arrived when they promised (I think they might have gotten here a little early), and measurement and fit was perfect.
