The issues you described—residual shampoo, shedding lace, and thin density—are not what we expect from our products. Sometimes, shedding may happen if the lace is handled roughly or if it's washed before gently detangling the hair. Regarding the smell you noticed—sometimes different scents may be emitted from our products, but please rest assured it's simply from the disinfectant fluid used during processing, which is for hygiene and customer safety. Since our wigs are sealed in plastic bags, it's also possible for water vapor and enclosed air to create an unpleasant smell over time. This usually fades after removing the wig from the packaging and placing it in a cool, ventilated space for a few days. A quick wash with shampoo will completely remove the scent.
