Been a customer for many years with all loans paid off quickly and in full. They have made a small fortune off me and was denied funding today. Reason they indicated was "Clarity for Consumers" shown my credit as being frozen and suggested I call them. I did call as well I called all three credit reporting agencies who ALL indicated there are NO freezes or any issues with my credit. Birch Lending still denied my loan request with no other reason reiterating it's the "system" they have in place which is creating the denial. They won't call or contact Clarity for Consumers or another credit reporting agencies. Maybe it's the sign of the times or maybe something else. I will take my business elsewhere and suggest you do too. Within hours of creating this review Birch Lending responded with "with what information I supplied they could not help me. I SUPPLIED MY LOAN /ACCOUNT NUMBER. They want me to call them or file something on their info site. I have called them many times in the last week. Those efforts produced nothing. I suggest they call me. Be careful of this business. Update 7/7/2026: Received email from "Jaricia BIRCH" customer service at 9:49 AM indicating sorry we missed you. She must mean the call they said they would make in thier responses listed here. Who called was a company called MINTO MONEY. I didn't answer for I have no idea who that is and very well a spam caller. I replied to Jarlicia's email indicating what happened and in addition voiced I received another loan denial email at 6:51 this morning followed by another email at 7:30 indicating clearly "YOU QUALIFY FOR MORE MONEY". Instantly an email came again from Jarlicia indicating receiving my email however it will be days until any response will be made. Something is very wrong with Birch Lending. Please let others read all that I am conveying. Update 7/8/2026. Birch responded to my last update indicating someone would call and resolve any issues. A few conversations did happen today and once again no resolve to the problem, rather they blame their system and credit reporting agencies as well Norton and LifeLock. I was told this matter is being referred to upper management and can take up to 16 days to hear back from Birch Lending. What's interesting is each time I add another note to this review within an hour Birch responds back through Trust Pilot and sends me another email of denial. I will say the operators I have spoken with are very nice and helpful, they indicate their hands are tied waiting on upper management. Please note all this if ever thinking about doing business with Birch Lending. 7/11/2026: Another response here from Birch. Same as always.....just call us....all will be fine. That's not what was said with a "phone call" to Birch. Be careful doing business with Birch Lending. Be VERY careful.

They told me borrow 200$ and pay back 300$ I paid 300 and now they say only 19cents went to the bill.this is bs! They leave that part out!

Birch lending engages in predatory and unethical marketing practices. I have not had a loan with them in over two years and they continue to send marketing material after i have contacted them three separate occasions: November 22, 2025: After receiving a marketing flyer, I contacted Birch Lending and requested that all future marketing mail be stopped. January 26, 2026: After receiving another marketing flyer, I again called and demanded that my address be removed from all marketing lists. April 30, 2026: Following yet another unsolicited marketing flyer, I made a third call and again instructed Birch Lending to cease sending marketing materials to my home. July 6, 2026: Despite these repeated requests, I received yet another marketing flyer at my residence. They will never stop, they have outrageous loan interest rates, DO NOT go to Birch lending, if you need a small loan i suggest taking a cash advance instead using Dave checking or Money Lion. Birch Lending is clearly incompetent, unable to follow legal, clearly defined requests, instead choosing to be unethical in their practices, which is the last thing you want from a loan company. - EDIT AFTER BIRCH LENDING REPLIED - BIRCH LENDING SHOULD CLEARLY NOT CLAIM THEY ARE “DELIGHTED” TO HAVE SATISFACTORILY RESOLVED THIS COMPLAINT. YOU HAVE RECEIVED 3 REQUESTS TO STOP SENDING MARKETING MATERIAL, AND CONTINUED TO DO SO 4 TIMES AFTERWARD. INCOMPETENT IS NOT THE ONLY WORD TO USE, DISHONEST AND AGGRAVATING ARE NOW THE ONLY WORDS TO DESCRIBE BIRCH LENDING AFTER THAT ABSURD REPLY AND INTERPRETATION OF EVENTS.

I got a loan 5 days ago for $2700 and they took out $580, I called to see how much I owed them back for the loan and the rude customer service representative told me $18,000. I couldn't believe my ears,if you are in need of help Birch lending is not the company to ask. They are a complete highway robbery company and should not be in business!!!!

Birch lending made it easier to apply for a loan than than most other lenders who just kind of lead you on and you find out nothing. I was told how much I could borrow and that it would be deposited the next day and it was. I really appreciated that.

The online service person was polite, and professional. Having my deposit made the very next day was terrific, considering I am a returning customer I expected nothing less! I am still unhappy with the way points can be redeemed, it seems to be a secret, hoop jumping process.. screams dishonest to me.
