First experience was great, second experience was terrible. Not a trustworthy company, poor customer service. I was charged nearly 50% more than advertised in the product listing. Very bad experience, they will not make things right. They do not stand by their product or service.

Don’t worry about the negative reviews

Was nervous ordering after seeing some negative reviews but I had no issues. $400 order delivered to Canada. It’s a German store so then you do have to pay state/provincial tax to the shipping company before it can be delivered. Still cheaper than ordering locally though!

Fraudulent site

From current experience highly likely fraud/scam ordered weeks ago no updates despite emailing many times - no contact numbers to reach anyone. Highly recommend you shop elsewhere, not worth the risk.

Scam Company - Bait and Switch you

I order an item from this company worth $381 dollars and it was out of stock. They bait and switch me another item of lesser value of $267.95. I did a charge back with my bank and they admit it was their fault but still want me to pay the $381 and spammed me with tons of threating emails about sending me to collections. They said that if I pay the chargeback they would refund me the difference. However they double charge me of $763.88. Now I have to deal with my bank on this matter. Please stay away from this company at all cost because their customer service is nonexistance and communcation is very poor. They are a very hostile company to do business with.

Unacceptable

Unacceptable. They do not respect the order. My order number is 628574. My order was placed on a Canadian website in my country. They charge shipping fee when the order was placed, I accepted it. But when they delivery, you realize you have to pay an extra 20% in customs duty. On top of that : over the shipping fee. That fee was not mentioned during the order. Nonresponsive to emails after sending 4 of them. If I had been aware of these charges, I would not have ordered from Bobleisure.

Beware extra customs fees

The site, prices and service were all excellent. The reason for the 2 star review is somewhat beyond their control other than being more transparent and up front about the problem. I purchased Spyder Dare ski pants back in December 2025. I did not realize at the time that the company was located in Germany rather than the USA. The prices appeared to be fixed including shipping the same as innumerable online purchases in the past. Three weeks ago (mid April) I started getting aggressive notices that I had to pay Customs fees (as a result of Donald Trumps tariffs). That added $74 to my cost (about 30% of the $250 price). I was threatened with being sent to collections and harming my credit rating repeatedly. I contacted customer service to be sure it was not a scam and was told it was legitimate when FedEx didn’t directly collect and that returning the item would not ensure that the customs fee would be dropped. What seemed like a good deal turned out not to be. Until the tariff situation returns to normal and predictable, there is significant financial risk to individuals, not just the vendors, so beware those additional costs for anything imported. Not the fault of the company other than transparency on the website but it still had a significant impact on my overall experience, including all the time needed to research the situation to be sure the charges were legitimate and I had little choice but to pay them.

HUGE fees after shipping to US

It was not clear that shipping would incur customs fees. It is not apparent where your company ships from, and there should have been MANY more warnings during the purchase process. Is was misleading and frustrating to only find it later in the FAQs.

Ordered some Meindl shoes

Ordered some Meindl hiking shoes from the US. Was a bit nervous as there was radio silence for about 4-5days then I was emailed a Fedex # and the rest was very quick. Outstanding quality shoes and overall great service. A+

Duties were not included on…

Duties were not included on invoice/purchase. This added 20% to the product price. Product came in original box but the box was damaged. Product was as advertised.

False advertising, double shipping charges

Ordered this backpack and it was advertised as 4-7 shipping days from Bobs leisure Canada so assumed it would be shipping from Canada. Bobs leisure charged me shipping on checkout. 7 days later I get a shipping notification that it has shipped from Germany on FedEx and have to pay an additional $27CAD for shipping and duties. Very disappointed in the way this was advertised and wouldn’t buy from Bobs leisure again.
