I had my book published through Book Marketeers. After it was published, I was told it was good enough to be placed in multiple bookstores if I made an additional investment of $2,500 USD for a consignment program. It’s now been over six months, and I haven’t received any updates about sales or placement. When I contacted the bookstores where I was told my book would be available, none of them had any record of it. Based on my experience, I feel misled and I’m concerned that I may have been scammed. At this point, I don’t know if I’ll ever recover the money I invested. I’m sharing my experience so that anyone considering publishing with Book Marketeers can do their own research, ask detailed questions, and proceed with caution.
My very positive review on Sept. 17, 2025 was sent on by the company and taken from an email response to Daniel. It's true that Bookmarketeers did a good job with the publication of my three books, though there was an error with sizing for one them, which they corrected later, and the promised free copies, which were months in coming. However, the sales and marketing experiences that soon followed were a nightmare, and I should have stopped my relationship with this company immediately following publication! 1. Spent $999 on Ingraham Spark global distribution. Terms not discussed. Royalties ended up being about $1 per book. Dead end. 2. $3,000 spent on Barnes & Noble package--promised ties with 4 cities near me. Nothing was done. Spoke to manager at one of the B&N stores; he knew nothing about it. Fraudulent. 3. Spent $1,197 on new ISBNs for 3 books--told it was mandated by Amazon. I believe it was used by BM to expand presence of my books in wider market. Fraudulent. 4. BM began marketing my books on Abebooks as well as many other sights without discussing royalties with me and never set up my checking account to receive any funds from sales. I called them on all of these fraudulent activities, and they discontinued replying to my emails. They wanted to talk to me by phone. I'm sure that they didn't want me to have a written record of our past conversations.
They were so helpful to me especially since it was my first book to be published. They did a great job editing the book, and the cover was exactly what I wanted. The page they wrote describing the book was so much better than anything I could have written. They stayed in close contact with me, answering questions, and keeping my attitude positive. I highly recommend them

Book Marketeers are Indian kids posing as English majors but can't write proper grammar in their own PR pieces. I lost $1500 to dudes with fake names and lines of garbled nonsense. Never sold a book with their pseudo marketing skills.
I received calls and emails from several people, but had Stella Quinn as my main contact. She kept me informed and updated as well as worked hard to get the book to my presences. Thank you for making it easy for me to get my book out to the public!
My experience with Bookmarketeers at first we hit some rough patches but, once Stella was assigned the project was accomplished in a timely manner. I was pleased being my first book published. She communicated with updates and very pleasant to work with. The illustrations she created was to what my description of how I wanted the characters to look.
Do NOT use this company. Book Marketeers is a ripoff. They offer you services for $1500 and don’t follow through on them. I have a lawyer now who is getting my money back. They make nice book BUT keep your profits. They nickel and dime you for everything. Do NOT lose your hard earned money.

I am a writer, how good? remains to be seen. I do not spend all day pounding my thumbs an my cell phone. The first half of my book and all my short stories were written with pen on paper. I am a self taught typist. I am 80 and I am deaf. I hear with implants. I grew up south of Pittsburgh, in the streets. What an amazing experience! I developed my concept for writing a book and it was completed, live, and published in LESS than 3 weeks! I had no experience, and no clue even how I wanted my book cover to be. I worked with Jennifer and Luke and they reached out immediately and became intertwined in the entire process. My situation was complicated because I live and work in the US as well as overseas. I found the whole staff at Bookmarketeers to be straight forward. They want to sell books but they were also happy to work on a book of poems. We had difficulties because of our long distance connections but in the end I feel good with the product. Old Town Clown 3rd edition is ready. I owe this to several Bookmarketeers, but in the end it is Sebastian Stan and who kept the project alive. And Jennifer Bloom who seeed always to come up with good solutions. My thanks to Jennifer.
