I love Books n Bobs so much I'm always on your website scrolling looking at books though I don't plan to buy anything. I love the shopping experience. However there are some part about the website which I found it not user friendly. It is not very organized. At least for me. Except for that, I love everything about Books n Bobs. I love the fact that I can shop books which in a good condition with cheaper price. 😊

I would say that the delivery was very prompt and I love the email that acknowledged my purchase. But I do hope that Books and Bobs is working towards zero plastic. I understand that it is a challenging task that seems almost impossible as you want to make sure that the books are delivered safely and that they don't get damaged on the way. I also understand that you collect used bubble wraps and try your best to reuse your plastic packaging. But I sincerely hope that you are looking for a sustainable solution to cut your current 2 layer plastic packaging (bubble wrap + courier consignment bag) to 1 layer. I will rate a 5 star when the plastic packaging is reduced to 1 layer :)

Hi Lizzie. Thank you for your feedback, it is important to us. We understand and agree with your concern on plastic packaging. Unfortunately, we haven't found any satisfactory alternatives so far. The current bubble wrap replacements are either not providing adequate protection or are not cost effective esp. for secondhand books. We will continue to search for a good solution but meanwhile, we do have a bubblewrap-free option for shipping. Simply tick the "Let's go eco friendly" box at checkout and we will replace bubblewraps with old newspaper + courier bag. Thanks again for your continuous support
Your delivery service is good
Your delivery service is good, usually within 3 days. Much better than bookxcess or bbw. Response time to order and confirmation excellent. The only negative is a couple of books YOU termed as acceptable is really too old, can be considered as scrap or disposable or maybe thrown in as a give away. Anyhow all in all, great.
Most are second-hand books
Most are second-hand books, not really in superb conditions like new though occasionally, do get a couple of new books. Prices are competitive enough given that some titles may not be sold commercially in bulk like others. OK for selecting choice titles not found elsewhere.
Might buy again
It's great to find a copy of Ogilvy on Advertising in such an affordable price! The book took about a week to arrive, and was wrapped securely. However, there were tape stains that remind me of library books which I did not expect.

Book condition rating
I hv ordered twice from BnB and on both times hv been very satisfied with the service: delivery was prompt and packaging was v good. I wld give them 5* if they can improve on their book condition rating: what is rated 3.5 to 4 shld be in reasonable shape and not yellowed with pages abt to come apart.

Everything was smooth from selection to placing order to payment. However the delayed delivery wasn’t detected. Seems the courier agent lost the parcel. But once alerted, BnB was quick to respond to say they would check on it. Hope parcel can be found soon.
