I didn't receive one enquiry. But received many on alternative sites (Facebook, craigslist, and auto trader). Sold on one of these sites. Also, a bit awkward uploading pictures. Pretty seamless on other sites.
great website
I found the service to the excellent. But after months of promotion and advertising, even listing it with an online auction at there suggested price. Nothing. Not so much as one inquiry. I think if you're living in the USA near a major metropolitan center you might have much better luck.
Great service, easy to manage listing.
Was easy to list and change things, respond to buyers, seemed to get out to a broad audience with few scammers unlike other sites i sold cars on in past I'm very pleased
The customer care department was very patient and kind and helpful solving issues especially if someone was not very computer savvy. They patiently guided me through making sure to resolve any problems.
Great looking add with pictures only took a few days to sell my vehicle very professional web site
Advertising a very low mileage car that’s has been listed for months. Went to look at it and was repainted from the original paint and it’s definitely over 100k miles car. The ware on the seats alone told me this didn’t have odometer reading of 1428 miles. This 1979 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe should be removed from the show room as it’s misleading and wasting costumers thats are willing to pay a higher price for these cars. I don’t think I can trust classic cars from this listing alone. The seller has admitted to repainting the car but the listing has no mention of it. Total BS…
I signed up for this “service” because the way it’s portrayed is “list till you sell”. There’s a lot of cost that goes into this for little traction. I had a listing up for a few months and had no inquiries. I reached out via email twice asking for a refund. No response. I call and an angry lady on the phone tells me it’s not refundable and my listing was taken down a month ago at my request. I received no notification or correspondence that my listing was removed and no response back on the refund. Terrible communication. There are better options out there for selling a classic car in my opinion. This was a terrible experience. There is a lack of customer service. No transparency with the agreement unless you read all the way through the fine print. Even then it isn’t clear. What a waste of my money and time. This clause isn’t stated clearly: “ Due to the nature of the services we provide, we cannot provide refunds; all sales are final.” is the refund you’re referring to for car sales or the service fee you charge for a listing?
Hello Erika Graham, After researching your account, it looks like there were 2 email responses sent and one phone call attempt to you after requesting your listing be deactivated and a refund be issued. Because we only charge the one fee to list your vehicle on our platform, there are no refunds issued for listings. I'm sorry to hear that your Jeep didn't get the attention that you were hoping for. With any classic/ collector vehicle, it isn't always as quick of a sale as you'd like. If you decide that you would like to reactivate the listing, please contact us and we will reactivate it at no cost to you. Good luck with your sale either way! My cherished 1953 Packard Cavalier is going into a private collection where it will be well taken care of. I posted this car only on ClassicCars.com and their system from beginning to end was easy to work with. I appreciated having this service available to me. The only downside came from dealing with those individuals who had no real intent of purchasing this car. I am very pleased with the final results.
Good afternoon Bradley, I'm so glad to hear about your experience with ClassicCars.com and that you found a great home for your Packard. Please let us know if you ever have another vehicle you'd like to list so that we can provide you with the best coupon code that we have to offer at that time. Thank you for using ClassicCars.com. Kind regards, ClassicCars.com Customer Support
User friendly website with plenty of followers. The basic package is the best deal and you can always upgrade ad at anytime!
wasted money with this co. nothing but scam calls had 2 months left on my classic car auto add i traded my car for sale in asked these people for money back on the 2 months i had left they had me on hold on the phone for over 20 minutes asked that they call me back never did sent me an email saying i could not get my 2 months back cause i traded my car in and did not sell it gets me to wonder who the scammers are oh yes they also said i did not have a photo of my car good luck with this co.you will never see me put an add on line with them again
Good morning Mr Petrone, I was unable to find any information about you or your listing a vehicle on ClassicCars.com. I am awaiting your response from my inquiry to you. Every listing package on ClassicCars.com lists your vehicle until it sells so there are no refunds offered. We would have no reason to use how you sold your vehicle as an excuse to not give you a refund. Congratulations on your trade in and I hope that you are enjoying it. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, ClassicCars.com Customer Support 480-285-1600
Paid for a social post and never saw one. No one reached out or showed interest in the car (that could have been my price or the car)...but it felt like I just paid for the boost listing and got nothing out of it.
It only took 1 week to sell my 1955 T-Bird ! Plus the buyer was 1600 miles away! Stephanie was ver helpful on setting up the ad as I'm too old to be computer literate. THANK YOU!!
Classic Cars .com. is a great medium to advertise in, they are very helpful, & suggestive to fit your individual needs... I have had a great experience, working with Classic Cars.com, sold one of my vehicles in 4 days, and the other is most likely sold now !
I had my El Camino listed for 166 days and got one lead who never responded back when I contacted him. I also paid $349 for the most exposure so to only get one inquiry in almost 6 months was very disappointing. The car is beautiful and fairly priced so not sure what happened.
Had zero inquiries from ClassicCars ad. Had several from Marketplace on Facebook and several from Auto Trader Classic online ad. Sold the car via Auto Trader Classic.
