I've been ordering from CookUnity for my office and we are honestly wowed every time. The quality and taste of the food is just on another level.
What really sets them apart is that everything is made to order weekly and never frozen; you can taste the freshness in every bite. Knowing that actual chefs are preparing your food makes a world of difference, and it really shows.
If you don't have time to cook but still want a quality, home-cooked feel to your meals, I can't recommend CookUnity enough. Our whole office is hooked!
P.S. Their customer service team is fantastic. Any time we've had an issue, they resolved it quickly and without any hassle. Great experience all around.

Great flavors
Great flavors, lots of options. Its also nice to see customer reviews available before deciding. It definitely helps eliminate guessing and waste. Will continue to explore options, as long as I'm able to afford the meals.
Cook Unity really covers it all, with what feels like endless choices from a wide range of cultures and cuisines. There are comfort foods, healthy diet-specific meals, breakfasts, juices, and even two-serving protein options you can supplement yourself.
The convenience, freshness, and variety make it easy to enjoy tasty meals without the hassle. Everything arrives ready to heat and enjoy in minutes.
The insulated delivery bags are also a great bonus; I’ve kept and reused mine, but they can also be returned as part of Cook Unity’s sustainability program.

Best tasting food for a delivery meal service! Not the cheapest, but that reflects the quality of the food. I love learning about the different chefs on the platform, my favorites being Einat Admony, Miriam Milord, Felipe Donnelly and Jose Garces. Some things they could improve:
- Quality Control: Sometimes the same dish doesn't have the same ratio or quality of ingredients the following week
- Separated Ingredients: Instructions often ask you to remove some ingredients before heating, but sometimes these ingredients (like pickled red onion for example) are mixed in with the food, making you have to pick it out with your fingers
- Price: Like I said, somewhat understandable given the quality and variety, but we often take a break and come back due to the price point and they don't have much more to raise it before we'd second guess it completely

Still Thrilled After All These Months
Still Thrilled After All These Months: I have used Cook Unity since 12/2024 (with a break from January 1 2026 to June 2026 during which time I was moving out of LA, staying with friends, and at last relocating near Spokane, WA). I wondered whether I'd experience the same high quality of meals, delivery, and service I'd enjoyed from Cook Unity in my new home. I'm happy to say that after two deliveries I am still thrilled with Cook Unity. (1) DELIVERY: Rather than deliver to my condo in LA, now Cook Unity delivers via UPS to my home on an unpaved road in the woods outside of Spokane. The deliveries arrived late (7-8:00pm) in the window (8:00am-8:00pm) but the excellent (recyclable) freezer packs kept all 6 meals cold until I opened the box. (2) VARIETY: The variety of meals available is still extensive, and I was delighted to re-order my all-time favorite Lemon-Baked Tilapia with Cajun Cream Sauce & Farro Salad by Chef Ruben Garcia. (All meals have been developed by prominent chefs throughout the country.) Each week I am finding four or five tilapia meals each week (with generous portions of fish), as I have cut out meat and shellfish from my diet. (3) QUALITY: The quality and taste of the food has remained excellent, despite having to rely on using a microwave (I prefer using an oven) during my several months packing and relocating. In particular, fish stays fresh, moist, and flaky, and chicken stays tender and juicy. I also enjoy the wide selection of cuisines that Cook Unity offers and the creativity of the chefs' choices. While never overly spicy, the meals are far from bland. (4) SAFETY OF PACKAGING: We may take safe delivery for granted; however, I had to stop ordering from Factor in 2024 after many months of near weekly damaged meal plates, torn film, and spilled contents. I have had only one damaged container in all this time with Cook Unity. (5) HEALTH & WEIGHT LOSS: I want to highlight how I have used Cook Unity to improve my health. About a year ago I went to a Cardiologist for the first time, despite having a high rate of early heart attacks in my family. I had been ordering and happily eating Keto diet meals from Cook Unity for months--high protein, high fat, low carb--and I'd lost a lot of weight. But my labs revealed the dangerous toll that Keto was taking on my body, and my cardiologist said that I needed to lower my cholesterol by cutting back on meat, eggs, cheese, unhealthy fats, and shellfish and by re-introducing grains, healthy fats, and many more vegetables and fruits to my diet. I immediately made the adjustments, and ordered only poultry and fish meals and increased healthy carbs: beans, farro, quinoa, and salads. And, sadly, I said goodbye to bacon, eggs, cheese, and shrimp. When I returned to my cardiologist 3 months later, he was absolutely impressed with the changes I had made to my diet, the 15 pounds I had lost, the food records I had taken, and that my labs were now all in the normal range. He beamed at me, saying, "You don't know how great it is for a doctor to have a patient that does everything he asks!" (Unfortunately, I hadn't added the 45 minutes of daily walking he'd advised!) (6) STARTING BACK AFTER MY BREAK: After taking a break from healthy eating (became an omnivore) during my move, I am back now back on my low cholesterol food plan, logging everything I eat, keeping track of the calories, cholesterol, protein, sodium, carbohydrates, and fiber. Once again Cook Unity helps immensely by providing all the nutritional content I need to make sure I am getting enough protein and fiber in my day, while keeping cholesterol, carbs, and sodium within a healthy range. Within Cook Unity's description of each meal, you can click on the link "See Nutrition Facts for Full Meal" for a chart that lists all you need to know about the nutrients. (7) BUT; if I only cheer about Cook Unity, you will think I have stock in the company; I don't. BUT, there is far too much sodium in the meals, particularly Asian, East Asian, and often Mexican meals. I just read that people who need to be careful about their sodium content should have "dinners with less than 500 mg per serving to meet the daily recommendation of around 1500-2000 mg of sodium per day." There are too many delicious looking meals that I won't order so I can keep my sodium below the 1500mg daily recommended for my health. However, explore the world of Cook Unity menus, and I'm sure you will find many healthy, delicious, creative, and satisfying meals that take just minutes (2-3 microwave; 15-20 minutes in a regular oven) to be ready to eat!

I love this service! There are tons of options that are being changed and updated all the time. I use these as my lunches for the week. They also have breakfast options. You can rate your meals afterwards and mark them as favorites. If a meal is not good quality, they will reimburse you as long as you send a photo. Way better than all of the other meal delivery services I have tried.
The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that some meals feel too small for the price per meal (which comes out to about $17). That’s pretty pricey for one meal and if it leaves you feeling unsatisfied that’s disappointing.

My experience with meal service companies and one I really like!
I’ve tried several meal service companies while searching for flavorful, affordable low fat meals to support a liver related genetic condition that requires me to keep fat to 30% of daily calories or less. Most services were disappointing—bland food, limited options, and nutrition labels that made tracking fat content a chore.
Cook Unity has been the clear standout. The fat percentage is listed right on the label, the low fat selection is excellent, and the meals actually taste great. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and the Chicken Teriyaki with Charred Broccolini. For the first time, I genuinely look forward to choosing my meals each week.
Delivery has been as advertised with the ability to track the driver along with the number of stops before arrival.
We started Cook Unity Delivery Service when recovering from surgery. I've recouped since then, but we've continued on with the service because it's that good. My husband favorite is Chef Cedric's Breakfast and any of the Steak dinners. My favorites are the Blackend Shrimp and Grits and the Chickem Waldorf Salad.
