CoolFire Trainer

Great product!

The website was easy to navigate and the ordering process was made simple and effective. Didn't have any problems, order came as expected. Product is great we have since ordered a secondary barrel and laser.

I had trouble finding the specific Kit…

I had trouble finding the specific Kit to match my gun on the website, but the staff was able to find and present me with a solution. It interfaces well with my gun and does simulate a good bit of recoil, the laser attachment is a must for visual feedback and training. This will allow me to practice more often at home and will soon pay for itself in ammo, gas, and range fees.

Customer service

Customer service is very good. They will resolve what they can to meet a mutual customer satisfaction.

Great

Rapid Fill Adapter Laser broke, they promptly sent a new one out to make up for it. Good customer service

Improve your training time!

I picked up the kit for my Glock 17 in December. It was a great addition to my dry-fire training regimen. The barrel fit perfectly and allowed reliable slide cycling with every trigger pull. When I ran into the CoolFire Trainer guys at the NRA Annual Conference in Houston, I got to try their AR-15 model. It was another home run from CoolFire Trainer, so I picked one up. It was a perfect fit in both my Aero M4E1s and my mil-spec AR15 uppers, and again, it cycled the bolt reliably with each trigger pull. Using the G17 and AR15 CoolFire Trainer setups together allows for flawless multigun training sessions away from the range, delivering realistic recoil impulses that make dry-fire sessions feel more authentic. As an added bonus, each trigger pull using the CoolFire Trainer G17 saves twenty-five cents, and with my AR15 it's over fifty! In the first few months of owning these, they've more than paid for themselves. I'm a fan of both systems and recommend them to anyone looking to make better use of their time away from the range.

I Recommend Coolfire Trainer for anybody wanting to train on your skills without using live ammo. Great equipment and customer service will recommend to everyone

Customer service

A customer is always looking for quality in a product, which is what you get with CoolFire, but the customer service is over the top.

Excellent quality

Excellent quality, excellent customer service! Ordered on Father’s Day and my promo didn’t go through in purchase. Emailed them about it and not only were they super professional but made sure I got my discount applied. Thank you guys

I got coolfire for my vp9

I got coolfire for my vp9. The spring isn’t strong enough to put the gun back into battery. But this might be a vp9 issue. Coolfire sent me a second unit. So I use the standard spring. I only get like five shots per charge, but it has realistic recoil. And i can practice at home. Imagine indoor arena where everyone has a coolfire trainer with laser tag vests

Best Dry Fire training I've ever used

The system is incredible, makes dry fire training SO much better. Easy to put together and use. Only 2 minor issues that made me drop from a 5 star to a 4. First, re-assembling the pistol with the CoolFire barrel isnt always easy. You have to find a very specific "sweet spot" between the slide and the frame in order to get the slide to go on. Second, the laser is adjustable but since its only on for a split second when you fire, it doesnt have a good way to quickly get it zero'd. I had to use my strikeman to track each shot and adjust. Seems like a silly engineering miss since a micro switch to take it from "by shot" to simply "on" would fix the problem. Otherwise I love it and use it almost daily!

The system works great

The system works great. My only issue is that the gasket on the CO2 fill adapter fails very quickly. It’s a pain to keep changing them out

Buying on this site has been really…

Buying on this site has been really satisfying I have been very surprised by its high efficiency in customer service in particular with Bonie Walker who solved all my doubts, the product is perfect works well and my scoring and handling improves. I RECOMMEND IT.

Not for me

This may be a product for other people. But in my experience , I did not like this product at all. The staff was very kind , respectful and helpful about my return. Unfortunately, I still lost out on money due to them. Not being able to accept the c02 bottle I purchased from them.

Great product with wide range of models covered.

Great product with wide range of models. Suitable for our training programmes. Really glad to find this in the market. Excellent support with parts. We are also keen to become the sole distributor if given the opportunity.

Overall a positive experience

Overall a positive experience. I have recommended CF to others. However (not deal breakers), 1. I was disappointed that the striker tips are not lasting the video claim of "3-500 shots". For me, slightly less than 200 shots w/G17. Note: I use the recommended Cosori warmer; and, 2. Having no prior experience with CO2 I was unaware that the fill devices are cylinder specific. A highlighted "NOTE" would have been helpful. If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to contact me.

AWESOME PRODUCT AND SUPPORT

I have purchased both the AR-15 sidekick and a traditional pistol coolfire. This system is awesome. The stimulus gained from actual recoil can't be replicated in normal dryfire and forces you to have to focus on grip. This is an awesome product and adds another dimension to dryfire that makes it a lot of fun! Also the customer service is top notch. I always receive a reply with 24 hours and they go above and beyond to help me with product support and replacement for items that need replacing. Honestly, this product support is probably the best thing about the product. There is nothing like having a good interaction between a human instead of having to work through bots or predetermined responses.

A real PITA to use

A real PITA to use. Prohibits the use of angled iron sights on an AR15. Also will only work with 223/556 barrels. The Mantis Blackbeard is more user friendly and will work with different calibers.
