The platform is fun, it seems the available card variety is fairly limited for some tiers, seeing the same cards pulled frequently within the pack tiers. More cards in circulation would be a good improvement.

I love the app

I love the app. As a new collector, especially in Australia - it’s hard to understand the volatility of the card market and even at times acquiring cards of great quality. Using courtyard has helped me expand my collection, I’ve been lucky enough to get some really good cards through trading, lucky packs and grinding away. Even the free daily points has helped me get packs! I’ll keep using this app for a long time!

A cool idea that functions more as a slot machine than card collecting

Courtyard is a very cool idea that seems to be more of a gambling site than primarily card collecting. Advertising big hits while 72-79% of packs are big losers (50% of value lost on many) on an addicting platform keeps the user coming back. Just be forewarned before engaging deeply. Great customer service experience so far, and slabs were delivered as expected. Having vaulted and insured cards definitely carries value, but be aware of the allure of the chase. Make sure to be wise about your budget and what you can afford to commit.

The apple app is buggy and the Distribution is off. Sometimes people pull 15 times in a row and get nothing but crap cards and then a super random person that pulls 1 times a month pulls directly a legendary hit. Feels always like the team pulls this kind of lucky cards. It’s definitely better not to use courtyard but safe money and buy the card you want.

This app give you access to cards of all different values, whether you're a new collector or veteran search for a grail. This items are shipped to you promptly. The maximum of 50 items per order is limiting and it would be nice if more slabs could be shipped at one time.

The good the bad and the ugly lol

Well as you can tell I use courtyard all the time. My biggest issue is bigger packs for example I opened $1000 pack today and got a card worth under $500. Which kinda sucks. And I understand the nature of the business but I do believe that you shouldn't get a card lower than the teir under it. Like $501 should be the lowest you can get out of a $1000 pack. It's definitely discouraging. However it is a great idea. I wish the community was better but that's not your fault trades should be better but that's not your fault it's a great feature. However half the time I do try to trade the owner is cy_shipments which is exactly what it sounds like. I think they should be taken off the market place at the time it transfers to cy_shipments.

Easy to use once you figure out how to get money into your account. Fun experience with the thrill of cards and coins. Easy shipping, no issues getting things to your house. Would not call me lucky in my pulls, so hard to say what that would look like.

Too many non profitable hits and any of the gold tier hits are usually barely in that tier. Many of the blue hits are less than or only equal to the price of a pack.

Not great

The rates got worse as the platform grew larger making hitting the floor much more often than i ever had before. Pulled multiple +500 packs all resulting in the bottom floor price. Also was met with a ton of scammers from their discord unfortunately to victim of one for a couple thousand dollars without courtyard.io doing anything to help. The scammer continues to scam people without being banned months later after warning and showing proof to courtyard.io.
