It is so bad, I want to give you a zero but that is not possible, so I give you a 1. Very disappointing experience. There have been constant issues with salary payments, unclear payroll corrections, and a lack of transparency. We were left waiting almost two months for our salaries, no compensation was ever followed up on, and now we are dealing with confusing deductions and missing payments. Communication and employee support need serious improvement.

This is my best experience as a contractor. I withdraw money within 3 minutes on my local card with reasonable fees and i can get advance which helps a lot sometimes
First withdrawal was very long tho, so be aware, it took around 2-3 weeks for me to do my first withdrawal

A masterclass in product fails, passive-aggressive payroll, and AI gatekeeping
As a Product Director at a global software company, I build software for a living. However, my experience being employed via Deel’s Employer of Record (EoR) model in Denmark has been so exceptionally grim that I feel compelled to warn any business considering paying their exorbitant fees.
My company pays several hundred pounds per head, per payroll, for what is marketed as a seamless global HR and compliance platform. What we actually get is an administrative nightmare.
1. A UI that makes SAP Concur look like a masterpiece
The expense system is a tragedy of product design. It routinely crashes mid-submission, wiping out progress and forcing users to re-enter itemised data again and again. For a modern tech platform, the basic frontend stability is shockingly poor—and the recent major platform outages don't inspire confidence. Deleted items magically reappear, and the filtering and reporting tools are so complex as to be unusable.
2. Local payroll "compliance" or petty power trips?
Deel claims to handle localized compliance so you don't have to. In reality, their local payroll agents operate like overzealous regional bureaucrats. They apply rules inconsistently, ignore pre-approved internal employer authorizations, and issue passive-aggressive demands for redundant paperwork. The app routinely captures all the necessary raw data (dates, locations, calculations, business purposes) but refuses to auto-generate standard audit documentation, forcing the employee to act as an un-paid data entry clerk to re-format Deel's own data into external PDFs.
3. AI-driven "Empathy" and total gatekeeping
Trying to resolve a simple issue is infuriating. You cannot speak to an actual human. Everything is strictly gatekept by support bots that vomit endless, cloying AI-generated empathy ("I completely understand how frustrating this must be for you!") while actively accomplishing nothing. When you finally reach a payroll agent, the tone shifts instantly from sickly sweet AI to cold, aggressive hostility.
Deel has built a shiny, aggressive marketing machine wrapped around a fundamentally broken core product. It shifts the entire burden of its regional product gaps onto the individual employee, consuming hours of wasted time every single month.
If your company is evaluating global EoR providers: look elsewhere. Being forced to use this platform is genuinely embarrassing.

I am requesting a full refund for the service “Review reports for immigration audit”, booked through Deel on 11 February 2026 for €500.
I am submitting this request under the policy displayed on the service page:
“Satisfaction guaranteed! You can request a refund if you are not satisfied with the service.”
The service concerned the preparation and review of a Prüfbericht for submission to the Ausländeramt as part of my German citizenship application.
The report delivered by the service provider was materially incomplete and contained several serious errors. The Ausländeramt did not accept the report.
The provider subsequently admitted in writing that:
he had entered an incorrect signature date;
he did not know how to complete or correct several sections of the report;
I should work on and update the Prüfbericht myself in a shared document.
As a result, I had to research, review and complete virtually the entire report myself. This took me approximately 40 hours. I then sent my corrected version to the provider only for review and signature.
Even after that, the provider signed the document using an incorrect company name. I repeatedly asked him to correct it, but he stopped responding to my emails.
The professional service I paid for was therefore not properly delivered. The original report was unusable for its intended purpose, the provider openly stated that he did not know how to complete essential parts of it, and I had to perform the substantial part of the work myself.
