Company is a complete fraud

Company is a complete fraud. Took 5 hours to send a driver, who never even completed the service. They would not let me cancel without paying a $100 fee that was not mentioned before paying / scheduling. Mind you I tried to cancel within 2 minutes of placing the order, before a driver was even found. I called 4 times and they put me on hold and hung up every time. They also send you a fraudulent refund receipt and never reverse the payment. Support is completely unhelpful and just tell you to go to the website, which barely functions. They have stolen $250 from me and never provided any service and refuse to send me my money back. UPDATE: After multiple calls and finally getting ahold of a different department I was able to get a refund. Still would not recommend using this company at all.

Case # 7544375 - On December 24, 2025 I called for help to replace my blown tire in freeway 180. I waited and no service came. I was told that I am in an unsafe location (freeway) Nobody can assist me and was told to call my insurance for towing. CHP came and they help me change my tire. That same day I called Drive Roadside and inform the office that they should not charge my credit card because I did not receive service but you still charge my with $199.00. This is an authorized and not acceptable. Please refund me the amount. You are not helping.

I requested a tow on November 8

I requested a tow on November 8, 2015. Was told a tow company would contact me, which they did and was told they would be there in 45 minutes. While I waiting on a very busy interstate the police stopped and a strange man approached my vehicle. I waited the 45 minutes and called the tow company and was told that they had cancelled because they had to go to an accident and they had called and told them that they needed to dispatch another company. He gave me the number for customer service and I was told they had not dispatched anyone else and that it would be another 45 minutes. I asked if they could just cancel and I would call 911. They said sure no problem . My money for the tow was never taken from my account. Then on Thanksgiving my account was charged $99.00 for cancellation fee. I have sent 2 online request for my 99. And 5 phone request. I’m 73 and I feared for my life on that highway. The company did not preform any service for me.

I had to google “roadside assistance in zip code” not sure what I would get, pleasantly surprised by response by everyone. Starting with initial contact person all the way through to person who showed up and solved my issue. I was very apprehensive at first, but I was very satisfied with service from all members of organization. Great job!! Thanks!! Price was reasonable, as well!

Why pay a middleman?

We spent 2.5 hours waiting for a tow truck. The communication from Drive Roadside was not only inaccurate, it was misleading. They charge in advance for the service and do not offer even partial refunds when the service is extremely slow. We recommend simply contacting tow companies on your own and NOT using a middleman service such as this.

Great Provider Service but app could offer a better user experience

The provider arrived quickly and changed the tire. However his truck was hit by a passing vehicle. A very scary experience. Glad he was all right. When calling into the support line prior to a provider being assigned the off shore support was not able to communicate the process or expectations very well which did lead to concern about whether our service was being scheduled or not.
