I have been with elephant insurance for…
I have been with elephant insurance for a few months now, I have auto pay so I didn't know they were overcharging me $40 extra every month. And on top of that I was a victim of fraud, so I just found out they didn't get their last payment instead of them calling me they sent an email or letter straight to DMV saying I didn't have insurance after me being with them for months and them overcharging me $40 extra money and never gave it back. Instead of contacting me and getting the money they they contacted DMV. That's a very shady way to do business

The future of the insurance industry
I appreciate your long standing loyalty the only gripe I have is that the rates keep going up. I understand to a point but is there any relief in sight? The vehicle insurance industry seems to be following in the footsteps of our out of control government. Keep raise profits to maximize profit while downgrading our over all service. Please tell me I am wrong!

Confused with Grief
I absolutely enjoyed my Insurance with them and would stay perhaps the next two years But as a retiree y7ou try to set things up on scheulde payments which in this current climate don't work. And they kept sending me conflicting messsages my Insurance was canceled on such and such date prior after payment was made. Really I didn't know what to do or believe as I was already grieving..

Impossible to cancel.
Cannot cancel online and the numbers to call and cancel are RIDICULOUS!! They go on and on about promotions and never connect me to a human being. I would never recommend this company just because they make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. Absolutely ridiculous. No chat bot option either.

After asking for a free quote, I received a collection on my credit report. The collection is for not paying policy premiums.

I highly recommend Elephant Insurance. I had an auto accident in Roanoke VA in April 2026 and they took care of me so quickly. I will recommend them to anyone. They have the best rates and reimbursed me within 10 days. They are the best. Thank you Elephant. LW
Price Increase
I always remembered that the longer you are with a insurance company that the cheaper the rate gets. I'm paying OVER $400 for 2 cars. With the price rise of everything, it is just disappointing. We kept a good record WHILE having Elephant, but can't afford the price anymore. I LOVE Elephant, they are kind, fast and reliable, but I just can't afford them anymore.

Fast service!
Typical me, renewed my car insurance for the wrong date (leaving my car uninsured for 3 days). Called customer serviceS, and was sorted within minutes. The lady I spoke with had great customer skills (professional, polite and funny). It made a ‘stressy’ moment, clean, fun and efficient. Scotti

This insurance company will screw you over I was in an accident while driving my girlfriend car and she was in the car with me. After the accident we went to the hospital they pay her hospital bill but not mine.Tho

Process was easy and to the point.
I have always heard the Elephant had…
I have always heard the Elephant had the best prices so when I saw my policy rise when I added the fourth vehicle I decided to shop around, and people weren’t wrong. BUT I just got an email threatening to raise my rate bc they could t verify coverage for TWO years… I’ve always carried insurance! I assume it was a just bc it was a much smaller company but it gave me a week deadline. I’m glad I noticed it! Now, let’s see if what I sent in will suffice.

I must say the worst communication …
I must say the worst communication insurance company ever.less than 5 stars would be giving more than was given .with the price of insurance not be able to speak to an agent is one but not being able to understand the agent when in a crisis situation .my son was in an accident and the car was not drivable .needed to be towed , we called the emergency number and after 6 called, that's right 6 calls being transfered to wrong dept .gave up paid for towing . Claim never filed till Monday started at 8 still on the line at 10am with no resolution. How is it I called the other parties insurance company because it was there fault and got assistance in 20 min . LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PROVIDE TODAY!

The whole process of switching over to Elephant Insurance was easy and the premium is literally half of my old insurance! It’s nice not to be gouged by an insurance company. Customer service is top notch as well.
