OnlineEd is a vocational school based in Beaverton, Oregon, providing online license training and continuing education in real estate, mortgage, insurance, and construction contracting. Since 1998, we've helped more than 500,000 students earn and maintain their professional licenses. In 2026, Empire Learning joined OnlineEd, expanding our real estate offering to most of the United States. So you may see reviews on this page that reference Empire Learning — those students are now part of the OnlineEd family, and we're proud to carry that track record forward. We got our start when a few real estate brokers wondered if license education could work outside a classroom, and we've been growing ever since — expanding from real estate into mortgage, insurance, and construction contracting, and adding new states along the way. What sets us apart: courses developed by our in-house team, available 24/7 so you can study on your schedule from any device, and for pre-license courses, we back it with a Pass Guarantee — pass your exam the first time or your exam fee is on us (conditions apply). Whether you're launching a new career or renewing a license you've held for years, we're here to make getting there as straightforward as possible.

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers frequently mention that the online continuing education courses are exceptionally easy to navigate, highly informative, and well-organized to accommodate busy professional schedules. Reviewers truly appreciate the clean module structure, engaging videos, and the absolute convenience of being able to pause and seamlessly resume their learning progress. However, some reviewers were not happy with frustrating technical glitches, pointing out that the interface occasionally freezes, resets the tracking timer, or loses page progress after unexpected timeouts. The course material on REO, Foreclosure, REIT, TIC , Notes are not very clear & ambiguous. It makes me kind of curious where Empire gets this material for the course.
Thank you for your review, Judy. The Advanced Opportunities course you selected as part of your custom-built package is one of our more technical elective topics, which is why it is not included in our standard pre-bundled packages. If you choose to build a custom package again in the future and find that a selected elective isn’t the right fit, please remember that we’re always happy to exchange elective courses at no additional cost. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing Empire Learning.
