expert squad asking for further information ,the stress caused to this lady was a disgrace ,makes you wonder how many other people they scammed for four payments when she only trying to send items back to shien ,threats to take down my review do it and i will post on every review social media site warning people they tried to take £140 from her account the bank blocked them how many other people have treated and tried to scam like this

THIS COMPANY IS STEALING CUSTOMERS MONEY
Like others..this company took money from my account without permission. They LIED to me when I made the first call to them. They claimed that only £1 would be taken from me. Completely untrue.
When I asked for my money back (3 payments of £35) they tried to deflect with bland responses.
It was only when I threatened involving police that they agreed a refund....which I still haven't seen.

Scam
I was trying to trace an order from Wayfair and was directed to this site for help. They wanted a refundable £1, I entered my credit card details but my bank stopped the payment. However the next day I found that I had a pending charge of £35! I emailed them saying I would be in touch with the fraud squad if my money was taken from my account. Checking an hour later I had a credit of £35 to my account. Do not use this site it is a scam - I did not subscribe to them and certainly did not open an account

I thought I was getting a free 7 day trial after paying just £1, however immediately they tried to take £35 from my credit card which I refused. I called and cancelled my "membership" and was assured of a full refund. Very misleading website, for sure!

I inadvertently clicked on to Expert Squad when googling Kindle with a password query. Thinking they were part of the Kindle team, I signed up for what I understood to be advice at £1 but on checking my bank statement later the same day I saw that a second payment of £29 was also pending for Expert Squad. Going to their website, I discovered I'd been charged the £29 for membership, which I promptly cancelled. Despite an online chat, there was no offer to cancel this payment as it was already "settled". IMO, while Expert Squad may deserve positive reviews for the quality of its advice, the way it draws in customers is questionable/disingenuous and its customer service is inflexible - hence my very poor rating!
PostScript:
Since writing the above, I found an email from Expert Squad in the Promotions folder saying I would be fully refunded within the next 5 working days. It was sent soon after I closed the chat conversation and before I submitted the review. Therefore, I retract my 'inflexible' comment but stand by my criticism of their membership entrapment methods.

today my son was looking through my phone and found regular payments of £35 to Expert Squad. We had to google them to who and what they were. it transpires that they have been taking regular / monthly payments of £35 since August 2025, totalling £210. As I am getting on in years, I am not the most tech savvy person, but I certainly would not knowingly sign up for a service that i would never use. I rang Expert Squad today and explained that I had not knowingly signed up for their service and wanted the money that they had taken from my account back (full refund). I was told that I would receive a partial refund. I almost laughed when i checked my paypal account to discover that the partial refund amounted to the grand sum of £17.50 which is just over 8% of the total they took from me. I suggest that anyone who comes across Expert Squad avoid them at all cost. lets face it, the service they report to offer is a pale imitation of Ai that has become popular. Avoid Expert Squad at all costs. Regards Al
